This all-day experience was worth every penny. We learned along the way so much about Chateauneuf du Pape grapes, wines, winemaking, history of winemaking in the region, all topped off with a wonderful wine tasting at each stop. Coline was such a fantastic guide through all of this, and her close relationships with the operators of each winery we visited enhanced the visit at each venue. The lunch, relaxing and unrushed, was a gastronomic delight in a fabulous setting (lunch cost is not part of the booking fee, as is clearly stated). I would highly recommend booking with this service vendor.

What a blessing to have booked this tour! It far exceeded our expectations because we got Roman as our guide who could not have been more knowledgable. The vineyards we went to were perfect and the wines were delicious. The very best part of the tour ended in Roman's wine cave where we enjoyed wine listening to Edith PIaf on vinyl. This may seem like a pricey tour, but it was well worth it to get to know Chateauneuf-du-Pape wines!

Our Chateauneuf du Pape tour was a phenomenal day. Our tour guide Clémence made our day unforgettable. We learned so much about Chateauneuf du Pape and the wines the region had to offer. The vineyards we visited were very friendly and welcoming. You could tell that she had a passion for the wines she introduced us to which made the experience even better. Clémence had a lunch reservation for us at a beautiful castle that had an amazing view of the area and the food was in itself an experience. On our way back to Avignon we ended our day at a Chocolate shop. 10/10 recommend. A wonderful day filled with history, amazing wine, good food, and great people.

Roman was an amazing guide, and the tour honestly made our trip to Châteauneuf-du-Pape exactly what we wanted it to be. We had taken other tours while in town, and they did not compare. If you want to learn about wine and visit quality estates, this is the tour.
We had a nice mix of people with different levels of knowledge and interest, and everyone left happy after a great day. I especially appreciated that Roman is a true wine expert, so you can go as in-depth as you want, and he is able to answer every question in a friendly, approachable way.

Choline was a fabulous guide to introduce us to Châteauneuf-du-Pape . We had a fabulous day. The lunch spot was beautiful, however I would have been happy with cheese and baguette!!

We had an amazing time exploring the wines of Chateauneuf du Pape and others from the Rhone region. Coline was an excellent guide, she was super knowledgeable and expertly answered all our questions. We had a lovely lunch with a nice view. The tour was so much fun thanks to Coline. We ended up buying multiple bottles that we tasted along the way.

The wineries we visited were great, the wines tasted great with a lot of variety. Colleen was very friendly and very knowledgeable about both the wines as well as the area. She even joined us for coffee after the tour was finished - THANK YOU!!

Clemence met us near the Palace of the Pope at 9:30 and drove us in a nice van (our tour started at 4 with 2 others joining after lunch) that had good AC (95F day) and plenty of space. Quick drive to our first winery in Chateauneuf de Pape, which was the smallest of the day. Tour of the part of the vineyard and great discussion on the soil and stone utilized for the 8 red and 5 white grapes. The 4 tasted wines were excellent. We then visited another beautiful winery and able to taste both red and whites. Clemence dropped us off at a beautiful hotel/winery for lunch with a beautiful view (approx 35-40e pp w/1 wine). After lunch we met again to visit another winery and then a final stop at their wine cave/store in the historic village. Back to Avignon just anfter 5pm. All wineries were great and welcoming - recommend the tour and Clemence as host!

What a wonderful time! This tour is a must do when you visit the region. We had a great time with Roman, touring the different wineries in Chatenouf de Pape and learning about wine. Everything was delicious and very enjoyable. Make sure you do this tour!

The Chateauneuf du Pape tour provided a cornucopia of picturesque scenery, a sampling of the Southern Rhône’s most renowned wines and was capped off with a beautiful meal enjoyed on the terrace of a 19th century castle overlooking the majestic, sun-drenched vineyards of this prestigious appellation. This beautiful day was further enriched by Coline, our highly adept, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Bravo!

This tour is top notch if you’re looking to understand more about Châteauneuf-du-Pape and their amazing wine. Coline was a wonderful source of information as were the wineries visited. While it was a long day…every minute was spectacular including lunch. No need to look further, book now!

We ended up being the only people on this tour because it was a windy day. Our guide was terrific. It ended up being a provate tour for us. The wineries were very well selected and exposed to us a nice variety of vineyards and wines. It was an education both from our guide and the people at the winery. The lunch stop was absolutely delicious. I couldn't recommend this more. It was definitely a hilight.

My husband and I both traveled to many countries exploring the love of wineries. We didn’t think any country out there could possibly beat the California wines in the USA, until we came here!! These wines are amazing! Highly recommend this trip! We had a lack of communication with the start point, so get that settled BEFORE hand. You will be very glad you chose this!!

It was a privilege to spend the day with a top sommelier like Roman. I learned a lot, I just hope I can retain it. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants a true French wine experience. It was worth every cent. If you are thinking of doing this, stop thinking and sign up. You will not regret it.

The wineries we visited knew him well and truly respected him and his wealth of information. It was a beautiful day with both the weather and our guide. We had a wonderful tour with Clemence from Provence and Wine two days ago. We met her in Avignon at 9:30 and she drove us away and up to Chateauneuf du Pape for a full day of wine and information. She is an extraordinary young woman, full of excitement for the subject, and well-educated - a perfect guide for this experience. We visited two domains in the morning, at which we tasted 4 and then 3 different Chateuneuf du Pape wines. Clemence then brought us to a really nice restaurant where my wife and I had a wonder lunch (accompanied by another glass of wine, of course). We took about 15 minutes at the end of the lunch break to walk around the village and take some photos. After lunch we visited two *more* producers, including Chateau La Nerthe, one of the biggest (if not the biggest) in the Appellation, at which we tasted another number of different wines. Those at this Chateau included a couple of wines we could not afford to touch on our own at the prices being asked at retail - wonderful, wonderful wines. Finally Clemence brought us to the Provence and Wine Cellar, where we listened to a record and sampled a few more wines. An incredible full day, lasting almost 8 hours door-to-door, at which we tasted 17 (we think - lost count!!) wonderful wines. We didn't turn our noses up at a single sip. Highly recommended the tour, and the guide!

We learned so much from our wonderful and knowledgeable guide, Clemence, who showed us all aspects of the winemaking process from vineyard to vintage. We tasted amazing wines at each of the wine castles, enjoyed a gourmet lunch in between(optional) and finished strong with a blind tasting in which we got to test our new found knowledge.
