After early morning hotel pickup in Paris, travel with your knowledgeable guide and a small group of passengers east of the city. En route, bite into a flaky croissants while hearing about the winemaking region of Champagne and its heritage.
Arrive at your first Champagne estate of the day, such as Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Mumm, Lanson, Nicholas Feuillatte (depending on availability). Step inside cellars, walk through a maze of galleries and enjoy a tasting at the end of the guided tour. Come away knowing the secrets behind the méthode champenoise.
Back in your air-conditioned minivan, pass through the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims, Cote des Blancs, and Vallée de la Marne, between Reims, Ay, and Epernay. This was one of the most favorite day trips we took from Paris! The experience was spectacular! Our guide “Lance” was knowledgeable, polite and a great host! The lunch at a smaller, local champagne house was authentic & appreciated. Would def use this company again to explore different areas!

Great guide with lots of knowledge, Aurelien! Travel in van for total of 8 and in the back it is difficult to hear. When listening to heavily accented (different than American) it is difficult to understand and add the road nose and car makes it worse. Mumm and Collery were great choice but the last stop (I don’t even remember the name) was not very good. Also another trip through wine making process is a waste of time. I would rather stop at two more wineries and just do tasting.

This was such an amazing trip from Paris! Our tour guide, Aurelien, made it worth it! He was a sommelier turned tour guide and we were so well informed on our bus ride there.. when the champagne tour guide asked the group questions, only our group knew the answers!! Aurelien was amazing, fun, professional and hugely knowledgeable!! Definitely worth the extra money to have a smaller group with this caliber of tour guide.

It was a great day out. Over 2 hours travelling - in a very comfortable mini bus - from Paris to the first champagne house, and some further driving to two other champagne houses. Ample champagne tastings and delicious lunch. Our driver/guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable about all things champagne!

The tour was fantastic. Joel was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and jolly. He picked up Croissants for the journey for everyone too. We went to vineyards for interesting tours, and also stopped along a few lanes to see the actual grape vines. We had a lot of different champagnesnto try, and a great lunch too. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Regarding the driving time, we do understand your point. Champagne does require a bit of travel, but it remains the closest wine region to Paris, and we believe it is well worth the journey to discover an authentic French wine region.
As for the visit to a major Champagne house, you did visit Lanson, which is a well-known Grandes Maisons. During peak periods, some of the most popular houses can be fully booked quickly, but we always do our best to include a good balance of producers.
Of course, you are always welcome to contact us directly with any specific preferences, and we will be happy to accommodate your wishes whenever possible.

Excellent experience. Comprehensive tour at the Champagne winery. The driver was very kind and took the extra effort to show us the cathedral where Charlemagne and other French kings were coronated. The lunch at the small family run winery was amazingly delicious!!!

What a fun tour! Lance was an amazing guide. Funny and informative. Our stops were good too! We even bought a few bottles. The lunch was fantastic! Highly recommend. Lots of time spent in the car, but that can't be helped. To see all the amazing places, it was worth it.

Picked up at hotel but not dropped back so left in an unfamiliar area. Tour guide Franck couldn’t care less that we had very little charge on our phones and had to pay uber in peak tiime Lunch and champagne tasting very good but late arrival to all. The tour said dropped back to pick up. Very disappointed at the end of the tour.

Regarding the timing, there were slight delays at a couple of stops due to traffic conditions on the day. These delays were only a few minutes and did not affect the overall itinerary.
As for the drop-off, the tour is scheduled to end at Hôtel de Ville in central Paris. This is indicated in the experience description, in the confirmation email sent the week prior, and in the detailed message shared the day before the tour.

Fantastic tour. There were 4 couples and we traveled comfortably in a van. Great views of the countryside as we drove from location to location. Our tour guide Alex was knowledgeable and thoughtful. Lunch was delicious and we had plenty of champagne.

We enjoyed a full day in the champagne region with Huw. He promptly picked us up where we were staying in the 17th arrondissement, provided croissants and lots of laughter during the drive to Reims. Huw’s knowledge of champagne and still wines was excellent and he added helpful information and tips along the way. With a great sense of humour, he made the experience very enjoyable. We visited three champagne houses and had a lovely lunch at Collery. We would highly recommend this tour to others!
