After early morning hotel pickup in Paris, travel with your knowledgeable guide and a small group of passengers east of the city. En route, bite into a flaky croissants while hearing about the winemaking region of Champagne and its heritage.
Arrive at your first Champagne estate of the day, such as Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Mumm, Lanson, Nicholas Feuillatte (depending on availability). Step inside cellars, walk through a maze of galleries and enjoy a tasting at the end of the guided tour. Come away knowing the secrets behind the méthode champenoise.
Back in your air-conditioned minivan, pass through the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims, Cote des Blancs, and Vallée de la Marne, between Reims, Ay, and Epernay. Excellent experience. Comprehensive tour at the Champagne winery. The driver was very kind and took the extra effort to show us the cathedral where Charlemagne and other French kings were coronated. The lunch at the small family run winery was amazingly delicious!!!

What a fun tour! Lance was an amazing guide. Funny and informative. Our stops were good too! We even bought a few bottles. The lunch was fantastic! Highly recommend. Lots of time spent in the car, but that can't be helped. To see all the amazing places, it was worth it.

Picked up at hotel but not dropped back so left in an unfamiliar area. Tour guide Franck couldn’t care less that we had very little charge on our phones and had to pay uber in peak tiime Lunch and champagne tasting very good but late arrival to all. The tour said dropped back to pick up. Very disappointed at the end of the tour.

Regarding the timing, there were slight delays at a couple of stops due to traffic conditions on the day. These delays were only a few minutes and did not affect the overall itinerary.
As for the drop-off, the tour is scheduled to end at Hôtel de Ville in central Paris. This is indicated in the experience description, in the confirmation email sent the week prior, and in the detailed message shared the day before the tour.

We enjoyed a full day in the champagne region with Huw. He promptly picked us up where we were staying in the 17th arrondissement, provided croissants and lots of laughter during the drive to Reims. Huw’s knowledge of champagne and still wines was excellent and he added helpful information and tips along the way. With a great sense of humour, he made the experience very enjoyable. We visited three champagne houses and had a lovely lunch at Collery. We would highly recommend this tour to others!

This was a fantastic day - one that we would not have been able to plan on our own. Our guide, Cedric, enhanced our experience so much. He was so incredibly knowledgeable and kind. The day was educational and so delicious. I have to give special mention to our lunch stop. It was a family champagne house that we would have never found on our own. It was such a wonderful dining experience with exceptional food and a great time to sit and talk with the other guests on the tour with us. Cedric was absolutely fantastic!!!

We booked this tour on relatively short notice and had a wonderful time. We went to a large champagne house as well as a boutique and cute restaurant. Our guide, Hugh was fun and knowledgeable on both history and wine. There were water bottles in the car and he brought croissants for everyone. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a great and memorable experience with Huw. Starting with fresh croissant on the ride, next stop Pommery's cave cellar tour which almost felt like an art exhibition (where focus was not just champagne). Then moved on to Le Clos Corbier for lunch paired with different champagne, and ended at a small family run Michele Tixier. Great breadth of experience all in one day. Got us back to Paris early enough to catch dinner and drinks!

First let’s start with our personal driver Huw. On time, history buff you can ask and quiz him on anything about anything! He brought us some croissants for the drive and even snuck us in a winery park and gave us a course on champagne. We were 3 couples and we had a great group because we had a wonderful host. We visited a large champagne house and a smaller one. They both gave great information about making champagne. We ate lunch at the smaller one, it was so very nicely done. We had an outstanding day with Joel. He picked us up from our VRBO in a Mercedes van and we headed to Reims for a tour of Mumm. After the tour we had lunch at a small winery that specializes in Chardonnay-based Champagnes. We stopped at one last winery before heading back to Paris. Joel was a wonderful guide with a very small group. I highly recommend this tour.

We loved the group we did the excursion with, but felt the cost was too high for what we got. The guide was not familiar with where he was driving to and we were late for the third tasting. We also felt a little uncomfortable with the guide’s driving - was rainy out and he had his cell phone in one hand trying to see where he needed to go and so was distracted from the road. So much so we came upon an accident on the highway and he had to swerve to miss it due to driving too fast in the rain. The champagne tasted great at all the stops, but was overshadowed by the above mentioned items.

That day, there was steady rain throughout the region, and traffic was slower than usual (110KM/H in France). Other guides also reported an incident on the right lane ahead, which temporarily disrupted the flow on the road. We understand this may have contributed to your concerns, and we regret that it affected the transportation service.
Regarding the final Champagne visit, your guide arrived on time for the initial visit planned, but there was a misunderstanding with the winery team, and they began the visit earlier than scheduled. By the time your group arrived, it had already concluded. This should not have happened, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Your guide is a certified wine expert who recently joined our team and already brings strong experience as a tour guide. At the time, his vehicle did not yet have a phone holder installed, so he occasionally checked directions manually. This has since been resolved, and all vehicles are now properly equipped.

We had a wonderful day in Champaign. Our driver was Celia and she did a great job. We stopped at two wineries for tours, one big/one small, and another one for lunch. The lunch was amazing. Definitely got to try a lot of bubbles. Celia even brought a bonus bottle to share with everyone at a little vista stop. We were picked up in front of our Airbnb, which makes it very nice not having to take a bus, train or Uber to the meeting point.

We booked this tour through Viator and our tour guide was Joel. He was awesome! From pick up in the morning to drop off that evening!
We learned about Paris; winemaking, champagne making and so many things in between. Our large stop was good but the lunch stop at the smaller champagne house was amazing! From the stop in the vineyards to take pictures and watch the grapes be picked by hand(!) to enjoying a meal with our new friends it was such a great day. Our last stop was also a learning experience!

Aurelian was fabulous! So knowledgeable yet personable and fun too. The Champagnes were wonderfully presented after a short winery tour at 2 different vineyards. Lunch was perfect, but indoors not outside. Note: Drop off is near Notre Dame, not at your hotel like pick up was. HIGHLY recommend this tour - ask for Aurelian (Lance)!
