Sonia was an incredible guide, and was very knowledgeable about the area and the wineries. The two Chateaus we visited were incredible and provided amazing views of the French countryside. I would absolutely recommend this tour during anyone’s visit to Bordeaux.

Very good tastings and wineries, there were no art galleries or shops visited in St Emillion, as was stated in the itinerary. Also I chose this day tour from other companies because some free time was listed in the itinerary for the St Emillion village. When I asked our guide she said there was no free time, though we could have 10 minutes to buy a quick coffee while she watched through the window.

I attended this half day Saint Émilion tour with my mother.
Sonya our guide was absolutely brilliant. Her deep knowledge of saint emillion, Bordeaux, history, wines, the soil the grapes are grown…all in all, was incredibly easy to follow and very interesting. She was attentive with time, any breaks needed for food, coffee and was always friendly for any questions or queries.
The early morning session was great and a great choice given how busy saint emilion gets with tourists after 10am.
Highly highly recommend, completely worth the money!

Very knowledgeable about the wine, region and history. Very helpful and informative.
Visited two Chateaus with different styles of tours and different wines. Both informative and the wines were lovely (one was an organic and one was a Grand Cru Classe).
Would definitely recommend.

The guide, Sonia, was great - very friendly, knowledgeable and took us to 2 contrasting chateaux, both small scale with passionate hosts. They shared their love of and pride in their produce without any heavy selling pressure. We went to St Emilion at 9 on a Sunday morning - perfect, quiet and extremely picturesque.

It was such a hot day for our half day tour in St Emilion with Sonia but she remained peofessional at all times.
Both wineries were nice but the first one was more special.
Visiting the St Emilion village was also lovely at the end of the trip.

Such a fun and informative excursion! Did not feel rushed and the vineyards selected are the top quality!

Sonia did a great job on our tour. The two wineries we went to were both quite good, and were an interesting contrast of how winemaking works in Bordeaux, in terms of size, technique, et al. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend! We had a wonderful time visiting two wineries and the beautiful town Saint Emilion. We really enjoyed the wine selections, our guide was very informative and enjoyed spending time with her and spending time people on our tour was a lot of fun too, everyone was from different countries.
It would have been nice to have more time in the town, Saint Emilion. Our guid was very efficient with the time we had so the only way to have more time in the town would be to extend the duration time of the trip, start earlier or end later. Thank you!

A great easy half day. Plenty to learn, time to wander and excellent information.
We benefited from am early start, before St. Emilion erupted with tourists.

Great way to spend a half-day excursion from Bordeaux! Fun and informative wine tastings, a stopover at Saint Emilion with some history in the drive.

Out tour guide Sonia was very knowledgeable and kind. We had a great time visiting the city centre and the local wineries. Our group was lovely. I only wish shipping back to Australia was cheaper!

The wine tour of 2 wineries and St Emilion was great! Sophie was very polite and friendly, we learned so much about Bordeaux- the history, the wine process and system. Highly recommend!

It was such a wonderful experience!! Great value for what you get. We got to go to St. Emilion earlier in the morning before it was packed with tourists which was nice. Then we went to two wineries where we got to see the inner workings at both and tasted 3 very good wines at each. Our guide, Sonya, was wonderful and very knowledgeable!!! Would highly recommend.

The arrangements were excellent. Well worth the visit to both wineries and Julie was lovely! We needed a special meeting point and they accommodated us so well

Great trip to St. Emilion in a small group with a friendly, knowledgeable guide. Couple of stops at vineyards for tastings (which were great), then a mooch around the village. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our afternoon with Sonia and the wineries very much! The wine tastings were very informative, fun and enjoyable especially Chateau Le Chatelet. Sonia is a fantastic guide, very kind and knowledgeable. She made the day entertaining and easy. This is the best way to experience Saint Emilion and their wineries!

Great experience and Sonia was great guide. Perfect timing and very pleasant trip.
The trip started in morning and avoided the crowd. Vineyard and wine tasting was very good choice.

The whole experience was so lovely and a highlight of our trip to Bordeaux! Cecilia was kind and very knowledgeable in wine who specialize in wine tours. The vehicle we traveled in was a bit cramped but it’s an easy 35 minute ride. We went to 2 wineries and both of they were so unique. We got to taste the best wine we’ve ever had. We got to take a stroll in the village but it was raining so we didn’t spend a lot of time there. Totally recommend this tour!

Definitely worthwhile. We went to two chateau wineries that were excellent and then to the main village which was very touristy but still beautiful.

Sonia, our guide, meet us near the blue lion-easy to find! She drove our group of 8 to two wineries and the village of St. Émilion. Despite the rain it was a wonderful afternoon! She gave us lots of information about the history, the area and the wine region. The hosts at the two chateaux we visited were fabulous and the wine tasting was yummy! Thanks, Sonia!

I give the tour a 3 because of the tour guide Sonia, not the vineyard experiences. The owners of the vineyards were interesting and personable. Sonia dropped the 7 people in the van at St. Emilion and told us to meet her at the van in an hour. The group of new friends sat a a cafe and had wine, cheese, and fries. We were late to the van and Sonia was not there. We waited for a while and she opened the van and did not speak to us. I know it was our fault for being late, but she could have stayed with us at the cafe instead of disappearing. Sonia was totally unprofessional, and all of us tipped her anyway. We met some people from her morning tour and they thought she was not personable.

Hi Mark,
You forgot to mention that I didn't leave you alone in the village for an hour. We started exploring the village together. We walked to the main square, saw the viewpoint, the cloister, and the church. As we left the cloister, I asked if you wanted some free time or if you wanted to continue the tour with me. I also offered to take you to a place where they offer champagne tastings. Five people in the group declined, you asked me where you could have a glass of wine, and I suggested you to to the central square. As you said, we stayed in Saint-Émilion village for an hour, and I had given you the meeting point at 5:35 PM. At 5:41 PM, since no one was there, I first called the English couple, who answered and told me that you were all at the café. I told them I would be waiting for you at the car. At 5:48 PM, I called you on your Irish number and got no answer. I also called the Australian woman and still got no answer, just like the English couple I called back—no answer either. So I went looking for you all the way to the central square, and that's when I received a WhatsApp message from the English couple saying you were at the meeting point. I had taken the main street, you had taken a side street. So I ran to the car. We left Saint-Émilion 15 minutes late.
