Excellent Family Friendly Experience
We loved our hosts and the intimacy of this experience. This was perfect for six people and kid friendly. We made and brought home multiple delicious breads and a cakes. The bakery was very cute and it was fun to use all the tools.
One note is that while we prepared we did not make croissants because they take too long to bake.

Amazing class!!
Fantastic class! We had the best time with our teacher, Rosalie, and the rest of our small group of 8. The class was super fun and interesting, and there was plenty of technical detail and clear instruction to make us feel like we could make croissants at home again and again. 10/10 class. Highly recommend!

Fun macaron class for families.
Thus class was so fun, so engaging, and the kids just loved it. The teacher was patient with my very busy/inattentive kids and got their attention quickly and effectively. Our teachers also gave us an awesome restaurant rec for lunch afterward that turned out to be, unexpectedly, the best meal of our trip.

I will remember this class forever!
What a fabulous experience! Chef Paul is kind, knowledgeable and patient. His place is beautiful and my husband and I learned so much. The other people in our group were so much fun to be in class with. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to try these recipes at home. We highly highly recommend!

Excellent, Instructional and Fun
Excellent wine experience! We learned a lot about the various regions near Lyon, the types of wines made in each region, the flavor profiles of the wines, and things to look for when buying wines.
In addition to all of the information, our guide was fun, personable, and charismatic. The wines we tried were excellent and the charcuterie was great. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to learn more about wine and meet some other travelers along the way.

Educational and a delicious experience!
This was a lot of fun, very educational, and delicious! Thomas, was a great host, so knowledgeable and was pleasant to spend a few hours with. I've never made butter before, whisking was a lot of work and delicious! We learned so much about the cheeses of France. There is a museum in a different location you are invited to go to, so save time for that. Thank you Thomas!

Great combination of culinary education and delicious results!
Stefane brought humor, wisdom, and fascinating tales from his years as a pastry chef at 5-star restaurants around the world. Details matter and he let us in on some of the secrets. Perfect afternoon in Paris activity for friends, family, girls trip, couples, you name it!

Great experience!
This was a great time. It was well-organized and it was clear that they had done it before. You could select the color of your shells as well as the flavor that you wanted to make the filling. I did this with my 15yo niece and we both had a great time. Erica was a great teacher.

Don’t think, just Buy
Worth every penny. If you’re on the fence about doing this cooking class, let this review alleviate any concerns. This was hands down one of the best activities that we did in Paris and one of the best cooking classes I’ve ever taken (and that’s said by someone who always takes cooking classes when they travel).
The entire experience was fun, rewarding, and I learned a lot about the science of cooking. Frederick was our host and chef and he was incredible - knowledgeable, funny, warm, and knows how to make everyone feel included.
Recommendation 1 is to take the full class with the market tour, it makes the cooking class that much more enjoyable. Recommendation 2 is to not schedule a nice dinner later in the evening when you take this class because you will be full the rest of the day.
Potential concerns: allergies / food dislikes. Don’t worry, the chef will ask and take any and all concerns into consideration. They went to the nearby market and bought toasted almond milk to substitute for cream when someone in our group was dairy free. Insanely accommodating.
All this to say - buy this class, fit it into your Paris schedule, you will not be disappointed.

Great family friendly experience with excellent host.
Meeting point for the tour is a bit confusing at first but it’s really fine once you figure it out. The meeting point is near a metro station and you take a short walking tour toward Alex’s restaurant. It’s actually really nice to see the neighborhood but just know you will be outside for the first 15 minutes or so and do some walking and standing outside. Overall, this is an excellent experience. It’s family friendly and you will enjoy a fair amount of wine and cheese. Alex is outstanding! Be ready to interact and have fun with your group. I DON’T recommend doing this tour right after you get off the plane from the USA as some people do. You will want to be rested so you can enjoy this to the fullest.

I learned a lot from this...
I learned a lot from this tasting experience. The tasting experience was in French, even though I thought I had put in the English filter. That being said the facilitator did try to include English and my translation app did the rest. I recommend, lovely wine and good information that I have used since I got home
