Our family absolutely loved this baking experience. Our host was so much fun, great with the kids and very welcoming. We enjoyed pastries and coffees in the bakery to start off. We made baguette, financiers and croissants…all absolutely delicious and a totally interactive experience. We went home with a ton of goodies to feed us for the rest of the trip. Highly recommend!

We had the best experience at Miss Manon’s bakery tour! Our guide was amazing, he brought so much enthusiasm and was so welcoming! My family and I feel like true bakers now!! We left with a bag of delicious treats we baked! Enough that we handed it out to some people who needed it throughout the day. Definitely do this experience!!

Amazing experience for family or single

azzurital, Jul 2026
Amazing experience! The bakery itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the welcome breakfast is perfect. Mourad was our guide/instructor for the session--wonderful man, funny, engaging, informative, warm. My 12 year old daughter and I had such a great time, I was really happy I booked this. We saw the bakery, made financiers and baguettes. Will never forget, amazing.

Top Notch French Baking Experience

A Delicious and Fun Experience for all Ages!

Dorothy_H, Jul 2026
My family (including 2 teenage boys) did this bakery experience on our first morning in Paris! We all enjoyed it very much. Who knew there are different type of baguettes!? Not only did we make croissants and baguettes but we also learned how a French bakery is managed which was very interesting. We even got to take our baguettes with us to have for lunch! They were delicious! Thank you for teaching us something new and showing us a great time.

Our baking class was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris! Laura, our guide, was absolutely amazing. She answered every question we had, explained each step clearly, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire process. She made us feel like we were real bakers in Paris. The class was hands-on, engaging, and so much fun from start to finish.

A step off the beaten path

Kristal_H, Jul 2026
Unique, interactive experience. My 13yo son said this was highlight of his vacation. Stephane was the best. Be sure to come hungry!!

Outstanding!!

TH_H, Jul 2026
Our instructor Elyes was amazing!! He was very educational, extremely personable, and gave my daughter a fantastic French cooking experience. I would recommend this to everyone coming to Paris!!

Awesome time

Terri_T, Jul 2026
We had a great experience with adults and kids in our group. Ellias was so nice and funny and we had a great time.

Delightful - instructive, entertaining and just plain fun

Thomas_D, Jul 2026
We have taken many Viator tours. With few exceptions, they have been either excellent or very, very good. This one ranks up there near the top. The tour is, as advertised, a combination of listening, observing, and doing - with a lot of hands-on “doing.” Our leader / instructor, Mordon, was excellent - funny, knowledgeable, and extremely engaging. I would note that the tour takes place on three levels. The steps are, by design, narrow and steep. This is not a tour for someone who has difficulty walking or climbing stairs. We had no trouble and held onto the hand rails. All in all, a wonderful and memorable two hours. Money well spent.

Great way to spend time in Paris

Kathleen_A, Jul 2026
What a fabulous experience! Our host was so personable and knowledgeable. We learned about baguettes, croissants and financiers the fun and relaxed atmosphere of the bakery. and we got samples of our work to enjoy!

Fun afternoon at a bakery

David_N, Jul 2026
Fun time learning some basics of French baking - baguette and financiers. Host (David) was great to talk with

We loved our French Bakery Experience!

Allyson_D, Jul 2026
My family did this on a Sunday when many things are closed and my 11 year old son said it was one of the most fun things we did on the trip. Our guide was superb and made the whole experience fun. We made authentic baguettes, French cake bites, and croissants. We had so much to take home with us! Oh, and then our guide showed us the BEST cheese shop in all of Paris! Because what goes better with baguette than amazing cheese! I’d highly recommend this experience for families or a group of friends.

Disappointing last minute location change

Kristin_M, Jul 2026
The location of our class was changed the night before our event with no offer to cancel. We had expressly booked it because of its location in the Marais and had other plans nearby afterwards. Instead, we found ourselves in a rather dodgy part of the city a mile and a half walk in the blistering heat back to the Marais. Class itself was fine but relatively remedial.

Amazing Patisserie experience

Tamera_R, Jul 2026
Amazing experience to actually bake in a real patisserie in Paris! Maria was very friendly and a great instructor. We did with our 5 year old daughter and she loved it.

Our guide Nina was...

Nicole_M, Jul 2026
Our guide Nina was fantastic. Very sweet and thoughtful with kids. Overall experience meh though, change of venue the night before, our family of four received 3 pastries before “class”, just like the other party of two with us. We asked for one more croissant for the two kids and were told no we could buy it. Probably would skip this experience and go to multiple cafes for a fraction of the cost. Overall “baking” was a baguette by rolling it, rolling croissants which based on overall time we didn’t get to try or take back with us and making some cookies. By no means do you “learn” to bake.

Super fun Paris Activity

Exceptional!

Anita_M, Jul 2026
This was an absolute highlight for us! Hands on practice how to make baguette, croissants and desserts! Our instructor Maroud (spelling) made this class so fun and informative! You can tell he loves his job and demonstrated 110% of his passion for French baked goods at Miss Mason!

Best Baking Class!!

Pam_W, Jul 2026
The experience was amazing. We were welcomed with fresh croissants and pastries before heading down to the cooking area. Our guide was amazing and ensured everyone had a hand in rolling the croissants and baking the breads. Highly recommend this experience!

Actually a bit...

Bruce_R, Jul 2026
Actually a bit disappointed. Nice guide but we didn’t do much or learn enough. We rolled coissants and folded baguette. It’s a nice bakery but could have taken the time to start from scratch. With a smaller group

Fabulous experience

Victoria_W, Jul 2026
Excellent organisation. Very friendly staff. My 15 year old daughter completed this activity on her own

Mourad was excellent!! Great experience. Interactive hands on activity that was informative and fun.

NOT for people with any type of cooking experience or desire to learn a recipe

Rebecca_W, Jul 2026
This experience was very disappointing and not as described. Even though our instructor was such a sweetie, she was NOT an actually baker and wasn’t really able to teach us any techniques. This class consisted of rolling out dough for baguettes (no recipe or instructions on how to make the dough), making basic cookie batter and piping it in a tray, and rolling out precut strips of dough into croissants (also no recipe or instructions on how to make the dough or bake the final product). I’ve taken many cooking classes abroad and this is the only one where I left not learning any new recipes or cooking techniques. We were more so helping the kitchen make their batches of the day than actually learning a skill. Also they changed the meeting location to a different arrondissement last minute which was annoying bc we had made lunch arrangements near the original meeting location. All in all NOT WORTH THE PRICE paid and only reason why I didn’t give 1 star was because the instructor was at least nice. This experience should be advertised for kids or adults with no cooking experience or no desire to replicate the “recipes”.

Taking home the dough!

Jessica_H, Jul 2026
We arrived to drinks and an assortment of treats. The bakery was a tour within itself. However, getting our hands dirty with flour and dough as we learned how to make financiers, croissants and baguettes was the best. We left with many treats to last us several days of yummy!

10/10 for anyone who feels at home in a bakery

Julie_H, Jul 2026
David was amazing! He gave us a your of the bakery, and we had such a blast making little treats. There was a bathroom, a place to put your bag for the tour, and lots of little treats to take home. It was warm in the same room with the ovens (to be expected), and the floor was a bit slippery from the floor where they cut and shape the baguettes. He introduced us to the 20yo starter that they use for the baguette traditionelle, which is cool if you're a bread nerd. But so amazing to be able to see how a French bakery operates. Absolutely would book this again.

Croissant class

Matt_M, Jul 2026
It is sold as an Croissant Class. However you don’t make croissants. You make bread and rolls from dough already made up. Which you don’t get the recipes too. We also made cake that we did get recipe to. You also take all bread home that you make. It taste amazing and is a really fun class. But we took it to learn how to make croissants and was disappointed.

Unique and fun...

Dariia_V, Jul 2026
Unique and fun experience! Personnel are very welcoming, sharing a lot of facts and stories. We enjoyed it!

An absolute must do!!

Katherine_S, Jul 2026
It was incredible. So fun and delicious!! We wound up going home with a bag full of delicious fresh bread. A great way to appreciate the love that goes into French baking

This baking experience...

Abby_T, Jul 2026
This baking experience was fantastic! It was more hands-on than I expected, we learned a lot, and we ended up with delicious fresh baked bread, cookies, and pastries. It was also great for the 5 year old in our group, he was able to participate and learn a lot. Lisa was fantastic as a guide! Thank you for a great experience!

Bread in Many Forms

Anne_E, Jul 2026
The morning involves making baguettes, croissants and little cakes. Participants actively engage in working with the pastry - they get to sample the baguettes and the cake. It should be know that there are stairs involved in this activity.

Fun time for all

Andrew_T, Jun 2026
What an enjoyable tour/class! David was a wonderful guide. It was fun for all ages. Small group size made it inclusive and up-close. Highly recommend!

Disappointing Experience and Poor Customer Service

Emily_P, Jun 2026
We booked this French cooking class in Paris for our family of six (two adults, two children, and two seniors) and were unfortunately disappointed with the overall experience. The instructor arrived 30 minutes after our scheduled start time. While we genuinely enjoyed the cooking class itself and had fun together, the class still ended at the originally posted end time. As a result, the class lasted about 1 hour 15 minutes instead of the advertised 2-hour experience. Given the high price of this activity, we expected to receive more than this. Afterward, I reached out to the owner several times to request a partial refund since the class was significantly shortened through no fault of our own. Unfortunately, I never received any response. The late start, shortened experience, and complete lack of customer service left us feeling that it was not worth the premium price. Book at your own risk.
