I highly recommend this tour experience. It’s just as fun as it sounds! We had a lovely breakfast and then made cakes and bread. All of us left with baguette for lunch. Even better there are lovely wine, meat and cheese shops just next door to the bakery. We had a wonderful time picking out foods with our kids. Lunch was marvelous! Book this one!

We loved our hosts and the intimacy of this experience. This was perfect for six people and kid friendly. We made and brought home multiple delicious breads and a cakes. The bakery was very cute and it was fun to use all the tools. One note is that while we prepared we did not make croissants because they take too long to bake.

We had the best experience at Miss Manon’s bakery tour! Our guide was amazing, he brought so much enthusiasm and was so welcoming! My family and I feel like true bakers now!! We left with a bag of delicious treats we baked! Enough that we handed it out to some people who needed it throughout the day. Definitely do this experience!!

This was a great little workshop that covered a lot in the amount of time given! The workers and teachers were all very friendly and the food was delicious. It was a fun experience by myself but also would have been great to do as a group/with a friend.

Don’t eat before you go! When we got there we were given a variety of baked goods and coffees. Learned how to make baguettes!

Great for families with teen bakers!

Cynthia_M, Apr 2026
We had a fabulous time at our Bakery experience. We left with so many breads that we made ourselves. We learned so much about pastries and breads in Paris, it was a fun time. Our teen daughter really enjoyed the experience. There was another teen boy in our group and he had an enjoyable time as well.

If you love knowing how things work, experiential learning, or just want to see a hidden side of Paris while laughing your tail off; you can't beat this class. We were first given a pile of delicious pastries and hot drinks, then led behind the counter of Miss Manon to discover the complexities of Parisien boulangerie, pâtisserie, and viennoiserie. Our teacher was hilarious and kept our mixed group of Russians and Americans laughing the whole time. We were sent home with literal bags of pastry and bread we had baked ourselves. A real treat!

We really enjoyed our bakery guide, David! He made the whole bakery experience wonderful! He was very patient and kind with kids. And he had a great sense of humor and timing when making a quick joke. Finally the baguettes we made were delicious!

Super Fun Baking

My 13 year old son and I had an extremely fun time baking at Miss Manon bakery. We learned a lot. The session was very well organized. The group was great.

Baguette

stevensmith8110, Apr 2026
The bakery used machines to make everything. They give you dough and you shape it. If you are expecting to learn anything about actually making a baguette probably not for you

Loved it!

Sara_W, Apr 2026
Absolutely amazing experience! Highly recommend, they were so funny and wonderful and you leave with a ton of pastries

Great experience

Was a lovely way to end our last day in Paris. The guide was fantastic and engaging. The baguettes and financiers came out delish.

Good fun but could be better value

Peter_L, Apr 2026
We had a fantastic experience overall – it was such a treat to spend time in a real French bakery, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The team member leading the session was excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, and generous with his time, even showing us around the kitchens, which was a real highlight. That said, the hands-on element of the experience felt a little limited. Much of it involved shaping dough and placing it in the oven, and while we did prepare a cake mix, I would have loved to receive the recipes to take away so we could try recreating everything at home. It would also have been great to learn more about the full process – particularly around proving and technique – to deepen the experience. I had expected we might learn how to make croissants in more detail, but in reality we only had the chance to roll a couple out. We really appreciated being able to take home everything we made, and the bakery itself was so lovely that we ended up buying plenty more! With a bit more depth and take-home guidance, this could be an even more memorable and valuable experience.

You will remember this unique experience

A wonderfully informative and friendly experience with a great guide in a busy bakery in one of Paris’ oldest arrondissements. Well worth the price of the tickets and something you will remember fondly on your visit to Paris if you decide to book this experience. - Mossy, Ireland, 33

Incredibly fun for the whole family! Our host was so great with kids and this was a very out of the box experience for us all. We learned so much about artisan baking in France.

Great Family Activity

Tricia_V, Apr 2026
This was a novel, fun, family-friendly activity. We enjoyed learning how to roll croissants, and make baguettes & pastries, which we got to take home with us. Our instructor was cheerful, which helped to keep the children engaged.

Fun, hands on, enjoyable for all ages. A great opportunity to learn about various bakery items that are popular in Paris.

Great, fun morning baking

Claire_D, Mar 2026
We would highly recommend this for families. It was fun and different and we learned a lot about the bakery. The experience included interesting fun baking activities with out being too intensive, and it was so much fun. We made financiers, rolled croissants and baguettes which we have already eaten while walking around Paris! The baker taking the experience was run and jovial and great with kids. All in all a fully immersive family experience. Breakfast was lovely when we arrived too (lots of pastries).

Great experience with kids in Paris

Great experience, great for kids. All the staff were very nice and friendly. Directions are easy to follow and you leave with tasty treats! I would highly recommend this experience.

Favorite host in Paris

Carlos_G, Mar 2026
David was a great guide. This was our 5th tour in Paris and he has been our favorite instructor. We baked pastries and baguettes to take out with us. You also get a full tour of the bakery’s 3 floors and get an idea of how large an operation it is.

Excellent baking class

Nono was excellent! We truly enjoyed the experience in a real Boulangerie in Le Marais. We made baguettes, croissants and cookies. I highly recommend it!!

Must Do!

Jaymi_P, Mar 2026
This charming bakery was such a fun experience! Not only is the bakery itself beautiful but everyone was so welcoming and greeted us with plenty of pastries to go around for our large group and hot chocolate and coffee. They brought us downstairs to their kitchen area, where we were able to be hands-on making tiny cakes and rolling croissants and kneading dough for baguettes which we got to take home with us. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made everyone feel welcome and made sure the kids had a great time. If you are in Paris, this is a must do!

Highly recommend

We did the morning class with Murad who was fun, charming and kind. He was very informative and we learnt alot about the processes and some of the history. Would definitely recommend. Only advice for others is to not eat before attending the class. We made the mistake of having breakfast (pastries and coffee) before getting there and Murad kindly offered us fresh pastries and coffee before the class and we were already too stuffed to fully enjoy it. But what we did manage to eat was delicious!

Paris highlight! Our guide Nono made this 10/10 amazing!

Jennifer_J, Mar 2026
SO MUCH FUN! After looking at MANY baking class options we selected this one largely due to location (Marais) and price (expensive, but in line with what others were…). This TOTALLY exceeded our expectations and was a true highlight of our 5 day trip to Paris. You meet in a bakery and are leisurely given coffees and pastries then taken in back and our guide - Nono - taught us how to make baguettes, financiers and croissants. Nono (guide) is what MADE the experience. He was so charming and funny. We were a group of 4 ranging from age 12 to 45 to 77 and everyone had fun. The ONLY suggestion I have is come hungry and do NOT plan a meal anytime after as you leave stuffed! Another note. You do need to be able to go up and done fairly steep stairs and you are standing throughout the class. Truly can not recommend this enough. We are STILL smiling and talking about this…

Fun and Social Experience

Kip_R, Mar 2026
My wife and I had a great time seeing the backend of a boulangerie-pâtisserie like this in Paris! Our guide was extremely friendly and educational. Plus, you get to leave with a bag full of goodies at the end. Would recommend!

Please know even though...

Judith_O, Mar 2026
Please know even though you change the time of the baking experience 2 days in advance, we changed from 9 am to 11 am, it won’t show up on the company’s list. We were given 2 addresses for the event. We texted both Stephan and the Viator phone number without any response early am Saturday where we needed to be. No response. So we went to the location received on Friday pm. Turns out the tour co didn’t have any baking experiences booked for Saturday!. If you go to 106 Boulevard Voltaire, 75011 Paris Bakery Bistrot Baguette, there is a lovely woman who kept calling the tour and try to help us out. I would give her 5 stars!! We filled out a reimbursement from the co and if we receive the monies in a week we will increase the stars. While they offered us other times on Saturday and Sunday, we already had plans. Merci!
