What are people saying about Florence

The tour guide was so...
The tour guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the Medici family and their role in the profession of the Renaissance. It’s one thing to look at historical buildings; it’s another to hear the stories behind them- it really makes it all come alive. This isn’t a particularly long (in distance) walking tour- it’s 2 hours- you don’t cover a ton of ground- there’s quite a bit of standing- but he did a great job of finding shady areas to stop and talk.

Great walking Tour In Florence!!
This was a great and informative tour and free of charge. However if there are things you want to enter you want to either choose to go on your own or do another tour. It was great to hear about the history and culture of Florence and with this information we’re enabled to choose what to do next.

A Must Do
Sara D. has been a wonderful hostess. She is knowledgeable and made us feel like her family. The owners of each restaurant were welcoming too! We can’t stress enough our true pleasure for this tour and how special Sara D. made us feel. We will do it again on our next trip back to Florence.

First visit to Uffizi
Manuela Corsi was a wonderful guide. The museum is amazing and contains so many paintings. By giving us an overview of the history of Florence before taking us through the museum, she gave us a deeper understanding of how art was shaped as it evolved. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and also the artists as people. When the tour is complete you are free to stay in the museum as long as you like, which I also appreciated. I highly recommend this tour!
