Few places on Earth rival the grandeur of Denali National Park. This 3-hour hike, led by a naturalist guide, is limited to just seven people for a more personalized experience. Perfect for the first-time visitor, the experience is offered in the morning, afternoon or under the midnight sun (twilight), allowing you to explore the boreal Alaska Range forest at a time that suits you best.

This physically demanding tour is built for fit travelers who want to go deeper into the mountains. You’ll hike 4–6 miles with 1,500–1,800 feet of elevation gain on unimproved trails and off-trail routes while exploring forested river areas, brushy sub-alpine tundra, and beautiful alpine tundra with glacial features. The tour is still fully narrated and interpretive, but with more time on the ground to experience the full range of ecosystems and scenery. Note: We often operate just outside Denali National Park on public and remote lands, allowing access to a wider variety of terrain. You will be dropped off at the train depot in time for the 12:30 pm departure.

This is one of the only fully off-trail activities in Denali, and it's the ONLY survival focused activity offered in the Denali area. It is lead by an expert survivalist guide who has survived off the land for weeks on end. If "Into the Wild" is part of what brought you to Alaska, this is the best way to get an idea of what Chris McCandless's life was really like in the Denali backcountry. Eat the edible plants that he ate and learn the not-so-edible ones he ate that resulted in his demise. OH! And we donate 5% of our net profits to conservation in the areas we guide. Drive your own ATV off–road during a fun 3-hour experience in the wilderness of Alaska. Enjoy a thrilling ride, breathtaking scenery and a delicious backcountry meal.
