We've turned University of North Texas into an incredible outdoor digital adventure. Our PokemonGo style app will take you to 10 iconic places around University of North Texas. At each location, you will need to solve a puzzle before advancing. It is part Scavenger Hunt and part Escape Room! You can play solo or in a group. Besides completing fun puzzles, you will learn fascinating details about different places like the "In High Places Statue" or the iconic "Scrappy on a bench" sculpture. You will walk around 2.1 miles as you find clues, solve puzzles and get closer to completing the adventure. You can go at your own pace, but it should take around 75 minutes to complete the adventure. Over 200,000 players have used our app to explore the world. We can't wait for you to play as well!

Prairie in the heart of a city? You can find it in east Dallas and I'm excited to share it with you. The Blackland prairie ecosystem is a unique and diverse landscape dominated by beautiful wildflowers and grasses. It is estimated that less than 1% of this special part of nature remains statewide. It is home to countless species of plants, birds, and bugs (as well as other small critters). On this tour we will explore prairie remnants near White Rock Lake and discuss their history, ecology, and traditional uses by Native peoples. Walking/light hiking is required. Some of the grasses are tall! Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Wear sun protection and bring your refillable water bottle! *please note: there is no public restroom in walking distance of this location so make sure to go beforehand!
