Great way to spend the day in Colorado
Tour guide Alex was phenomenal. He had so many facts and anecdotes to share that really added to the experience. He gave us tips on where the best views were and where to take pictures, as well as recommendations for places to eat for lunch and for dinner when we arrived back in Denver. Great way to spend the day in Colorado and see the sights, especially if you didn’t rent a car (and like me are too scared to drive up Pikes Peak yourself).

Quite the experience
Alex took exceptional care of us passengers. He offered water and explained how to prep for the climb in altitude changes up PikesPea. He is a safe driver both up Pikes Peak access road and interstate. He also pointed out points of interest along the way and places to dine as we traveled closer to Denver on our return trip. This was my second day tour trip and looking forward to a third next spring. Thank you Alex.

  • Pikes Peak is a must-see for adventure travelers and first-time visitors.

  • Dress in warm layers—there’s a 30-degree temperature difference between the base and peak of the mountain.

  • Tickets for the Pikes Peak Cog Railway can sell out during high season, so it’s best to book ahead of time.

  • Drink lots of water to help prevent or minimize the effects of altitude sickness.
