Private Tour With Petra Was Excellent!!!!!
I had an incredible experience with Petra as my tour guide in Budapest. She arrived at my hotel right on time and was extremely informative. Her knowledge of the Jewish history in Budapest was outstanding. She took me to the Great Synagogue and several other synagogues, explaining everything in deep detail. We also visited the Danube River to see the bronze shoes. The day was perfectly organized, and the entire history she shared was so moving. I highly recommend Petra—she was simply excellent.

Walking Tour of Budapest
Linda was our tour guide and she was superb in every way. We wanted to walk so from our hotel on the Danube where Linda met us we walked to Heroes Squae in Pest to Fishermans Bastion in Buda and we got our miles in. Linda was very knowledgeable about everything Budapest and also very personable which made our trip fantastic. We stopped at New York Cafe for a rest and it was lovely but took some time because of the crowd there. We did not go into churches or museums so if you want to spend more time at a few places make a list and then go back on your own. Later we went to Gerbeaud’s Cafe in the hotel zone and we felt it was authentic Hungarian but both cafes were very nice. Try Gerbeaud’s for lunch or coffee too. We also liked Kéhli Vendeglo for Hungarian cuisine and violin music. All in all it was a great trip to Budapest thanks to Linda!

Excellent tour, excellent tour guide
This was one of the best tours we have experienced in 6 weeks travelling around Europe. In fact, our tour guide was one of the best tour guides we have ever met. His level of knowledge, his willingness to engage with all the tour party, his enthusiasm for content, his willingness to take discussions further, he went over time, it was a fantastic tour and highly recommended. Given that most of the people on the tour were not Jewish, it was very interesting. These people learnt a lot about what has really been going on in Budapest in the past few hundred years, and the tour guide was absolutely fabulous.

Our guide (whose name...
Our guide (whose name escapes me for the moment, my apologies), was excellent. Her knowledge of Budapest and its history was amazing. As well as that, she was most helpful to anyone who had a question, and her enthusiastic manner revealed her obvious love for her beautiful city.
Thank you.

Sophisticated Wine and Cheese Tasting
Tamas is a vintner and so knowledgeable about Hungarian wines and wine growing regions. Our charcuterie plates were perfect complements to the delicious wines we tasted. He shared history and both wine and culinary expertise with us. We highly recommend this sophisticated experience!

Private tour guide made the raindrops seem to go away!
Ah, the joy of taking a private tour, instead of a group tour! We rather enjoyed our four hour walking tour of Budapest with Gabriella, our knowledgeable and charming guide, despite the steady, unseasonably cold rain. Thank GOODNESS we booked a private tour, as we were able to craft the perfect day to our needs and wants, rather than be forced to trudge up stairs and streets through the steady rain. Best yet, Gabriella was terrific company, and we rather enjoyed swapping stories about our personal lives. Gabriella knew exactly what she was speaking about, adjusted the agenda to align with our wishes, and made certain we were warm and comfortable throughout the day. Clearly, it's not the guides fault that the weather didn't cooperate, but isn't it terrific when a guide can navigate through unexpected hurdles and make it fun and memorable anyway! Go to Budapest, a TERRIFIC city, see the sights, sample the food, soak in the culture, and just between us, spend the few extra dollars and book a private tour (preferably with Gabriella), just in case a few raindrops change your plans. Things DO happen!

One of the best ways to explore the city
The Budapest Highlights Bike Tour was one of the best ways to explore the city. The tour covered a fantastic variety of sights, from the major landmarks and beautiful riverside views to interesting neighbourhoods and hidden corners you might otherwise miss. Our guide made the history of Budapest really engaging, mixing fascinating historical background with fun local stories and insights. The bikes were comfortable, the atmosphere was friendly, and the whole experience was both informative and enjoyable.

Tuk Tuk Tour of Budapest
The Tuk Tuk tour is an excellent way to see Budapest and the main tourist attractions. The vehicles can be parked almost anywhere so it is easy to get in and out when viewing a historic site. Our guide, Martin, was excellent with a first class knowledge of the city and the attractions. A very enjoyable trip.

Wonderful — highly recommend
I highly recommend taking this tour, especially if you’re new to Budapest and want to get a feel for the city’s charm. My sister and I spent the afternoon with Anita, and it was like walking the city with an old friend. She’s very warm and personable, and the tour felt effortless. I loved the intimacy of the experience — just the three of us walking and talking, and I feel like we got a real grasp of Budapest, which has helped us plan out the rest of our visit and make the most of out time. Anita also had great suggestions on what to see and restaurants to check out on our own. It was a great experience.

Highly recommend this service
Shortly after booking this airport transfer, the service contacted to get get new details and confirm others. When I didn’t see their text on whatsapp, they sent a text through messenger to ensure I was aware of the details. They were at the airport on time. Driver was very courteous. Susana, our contact person, also came. She was very pleasant and answered all questions about Budapest. She also gave tips for seeing city sights and getting around city.

Delightful Tasting in the Heart of Budapest
Extremely enjoyable experience in a character-filled cellar in the heart of Budapest.
Thomas led the group on an informative journey detailing the history of viticulture in Hungary. The wines presented were delicious and varied, truly highlighting the different varietals and flavor profiles available from Hungarian producers. The charcuterie and cheeses accompanying the wines were authentic products from local artisanal farms, and paired wonderfully with the wines.
Definitely recommend investing in this experience, and will be ordering wines again and again for delivery to the US!
