Excellent trip- have bathing pants for the hotel; have umbrella as in Delphi sometimes raining. Beautiful sights
JuanA_L, Oct 2025
Amazing experience and breathtaking views. Tour guide very knowledgeable of area and history of Meteroa
Ramon, Oct 2025
Hotel was very nice, although not in the town of Kalambaka. Guide was very informative and did not rush us in the sites visited. Both Delphi and Meteora are definitely worth the long bus ride.
Nanette_S, Oct 2025
This trip should not be missed! Long days in the bus, but totally worth it. The views were amazing. The history incredible and Evie (our tour guide) very knowledgeable.
Preeti_P, Oct 2025
Nice, small group tour! No issues. Tour guide Jordan was punctual and very knowledgeable. Meteora is stunning!
Seema_G, Oct 2025
Our guide, Jordan, for Delphi was not good but our guide, Kenya (sp?) for Meteora was good. Jordan was not able to explain things that well and he could not tie the history together. It felt like he was rambling on. Plus, he smelled and also did not explain how lunch would work for those of us continuing on to Meteora. We ended up buying lunch at Delphi but had we known lunch would be at the next stop, we could have gone to the museum. For Meteora, the hotel was fine but it would have been nicer to stay somewhere closer to the villages. Our hotel felt like it was in the middle of nowhere with nothing close by or in walking distance. While not a part of this tour, it would have been nice to have gotten to see the sunset at Meteora.

There is no doubt that Delphi and Meteora are amazing destinations with great history and fantastic vistas. It is a long way from Athens and this mass-tourist experience is fair way of seeing them at a reasonable price. Our guide for the Meteora was great.
Gisele_D, Jul 2025
This trip was a once in a lifetime Must See! The weather was extremely hot (95+ degrees Farenheit) and only 2 out of the 4 of us made it to the top of the Delphi ruins. The monasteries were amazing as well. Our tour guide spoke French/English fluently and was very knowledgeable and informative of the history.
The hotel (3 star) was exceptional -- accommodations, food, staff, etc. The only suggestion I have would be to tell participants to pack swimming apparel as there was a pool at the hotel and we did not plan for this. Given the extreme temperatures, it would have been nice to take a swim in the evening.

It was an amazing place to be, pictures cannot do it justice. It is a very powerful place to be. There are a lot of steps, strongly encourage good footwear and water.
Glenda_M, May 2025
To be able to experience everything, you need to be fit enough to walk up stairs to one monastery and at Delphi. Worthwhile tour.
Heather_S, Mar 2025
2 day trip was split into two guides. The first tour was Delphi and the second tour was Meteora. Both guides were extremely passionate & helpful. I really enjoyed the trip to the monastery.

It was amazing to learn about the Greek culture, history, tradition and religion. I have respect for Greek history.

Beautiful Greek country side and mountains and tours of Delphi and Meteora. Great driver(Mr. Costas) and guide as well as great food venues
Lori_M, Dec 2024
Our guide in Delphi seemed very disinterested and was not engaging, only gave minimal information. Guide in Meteora had a nice personality but gave kindergarten level info….no explanations on depictions in monastery nor story of saint monastery was named for. Very disorganized and seemed like it was her first tour. Bus driver was excellent and went out of his way to enhance our experience.l providing an additional photo stop once mist started to clear. Experience was like getting great transportation but being without a guide

I was extremely upset when the day before they changed our departure time from 8:30 to 7:35, we barely managed to have breakfast and had to run to the hotel where they would pick us up...
To make matters worse almost 1:00 later we passed in front of the same hotel..
Very kind guide, tirelessly explained the history of Delphi, but only showed us a small section inside the archaeological site and didn't stop talking, giving us only 10 minutes to climb, which of course, was insufficient. In other words, we paid and didn't have time to see the place.
Meteora was amazing because we visited alone at night. Old and very distant hotel. Through the agency, they stop for a long time in a bad store, far from everything, instead of visiting the city and interesting stores. Stops on the road in horrible places for lunch on the way there and back.
The only good thing really was the city, which is incredible and worth the sacrifice...
Response from Host, Nov 2024
Dear Daniela,
Kindly be informed that 08:30 is the departure time of the tour from hotel Amalia in Athens.
Please see your voucher as it is very clear written that the pick up service starts one hour prior tour departure from 07:30 to 08:15.
Also the day before the tour you had to confirm your booking in order to inform you with exact pick up point and time.
We really don't understand what do you mean that you visited Meteora at night alone as on day 2 after breakfast you visited Meteora with our guide as scheduled.
Thank you
Hara

The sights were beautiful but a delay in arriving in Delphi meant we had a very rushed visit, didn’t see all the site and didn’t see anything of the museum. The visit to the monasteries was wonderful.
Response from Host, Nov 2024
Dear client,
It is true that we had delayed arrival at Delphi due to a landslide in Delphi but we follow the itinerary with one hour delay. The Delphi museum was not included in your program and is written at your voucher.
Thank you for your kind feedback,
Best regards
Hara

Wonderful two day tour. Great guide who was very knowledgeable in Greek history and art. Very comfortable bus/van. Perfect restroom stops along the way. Self serve restaurants were surprisingly very good. We took this tour after a 21 day Mediterranean cruise and it was definitely the highlight of our trip.
Deanna_J, Oct 2024
I will say that I don't think that there was enough time allowed for walking around and museum of Delphi. Meteora was amazing and beautiful. I'm glad we decided to go.
Allan_A, Oct 2024
Seeing the incredible monasteries on the cliffs is an amazing experience. The hotel we stayed in was comfortable and as was the included dinner and breakfast.
Jan_S, Oct 2024
Meteora was mystical. Stunning!
The lunch at seaside resturant was excellent. The remaining meals were mediocre
Guogang_L, Oct 2024
Everything went well during the 2-day tour, with one disappointment. The tour guide finished the Delphi archaeological site tour at 1pm. She gave us 20 minutes to wander around, and asked us to get to the meeting point at 1:20pm. What she didn't tell us was that we didn't have time to visit Delphi museum. If we knew it, 20 minutes should be okay for us to briefly visit the museum.
By contrast, more than one hour was spent for the lunch later.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Dear client,
Thank you for your feedback that everything went well during your 2days tour.
Unfortunately Delphi museum is not included in your ticket (is clear written in your ticket) plus in the bus at the check in you had the information that 13:30 is the departure time from Delphi to Meteora.
Also please be informed that you need min 1 hour to visit Delphi museum.
Kind regards
Hara
Rebecca_M, Oct 2024
Meterora and the monasteries are a must if you are going to Greece.
The guides were very informative and entertaining. The group for the Delphi tour is too big for comfortably getting around the ruins and because we joined a different group to go on to Meterora we were rushed. It meant that we had to give up seeing the stadium and the museum. The smaller group for Meteora was much better.
Donna_F, Sep 2024
Really appreciated the tour guide's knowledge and our wonderful driver who went through all those twisty turns was amazing. We loved the tour
Lori_M, Sep 2024
Wonderful trip to amazing places. The hotel we stayed at and restaurants we stopped at were all great. Our tour guides provided very good information.
jennifer_T, Sep 2024
Enjoyed the driver and guide, they were very accommodating and friendly. LovedDelphi but I was disappointed with the lack of time we had three. We did not have time to look at the museum. I also liked Meteora the rock formations were great.
Response from Host, Sep 2024
Dear Jennifer,
We are thanking you for your kind review.
Unfortunately Delphi museum was not included in this tour as per our advertised itinerary due to time limits and long distance from Delphi to Meteora.
Thank you
Hara

Stephanie was our guide and was great! Just enough conversation. Lots of great information and answers questions willingly. The overnight was really great. The hotel Amalia was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The pool was an added surprise and refreshing. Food was very good too!
ChukYanCindy_W, Aug 2024
This tour is definitely the highlight of our trip in Greece. The view in Meteora is stunning, accommodation and meals are great. We are glad to have Joy as our tour guide, she is knowledgeable, friendly and patient. It takes over 5 hours from Athens to Meteora, with breaks in between. A bit long but worth a visit.
Kelly_W, Aug 2024
This was a truly incredible experience. Meteora is like nothing else, and Xenia was incredibly knowledgeable.
Aashima_G, Aug 2024

The trip to Delphi and Meteora was wonderful however, the operator (Chat) had un-optimized logistics, negatively impacting our trip benefits; from leaving late and shorten the visit to Delhi to 45 min to the bus with tinted windows that reflected posit side making taking pictures impossible, to longer than needed breaks to certain stops, the operator did not perform to expectations.
Response from Host, Aug 2024
Dear Mrs Ella Anastasiu,
We are sorry that our tour didn't met your expectations.
Your group size was 15 persons and the transportation provided with 19 seated Mercedes deluxe minibus and all seats had windows in both sides. ?
The stops on the way are obligatory according the Greek law for driving hours with specific stopping time and we must follow the instructions for driver and passengers safety.
Thank you
