It was a great tour and I really enjoyed it. VR device was very helpful. The information is very interesting. And the nature is awesome. You can make beautiful photos, especially by sunny weather. The operator is very nice, too. I had an issue at the beginning due to some misunderstanding. It was resolved in a very friendly and polite way, so I cannot complain at all. I did multiple trips with the same operator before and after this tour. These trips were great. Conclusion: I can recommend this trip and I can recommend the operator in general 🙂👍

I had a very good experience on today’s tour. The schedule was well organized and the bus departures were mostly on time. Even though we spent quite a long time on the road because of the farmers’ protests, our guide Angela still managed to give us over two hours at the Delphi archaeological site and museum, which was enough to explore. Even though longer would be better, l understand that the current itinerary already takes over 10 hours.
I also appreciated that there were no big shopping stops. Apart from quick bathroom breaks where a small shop was available, the tour didn’t waste any time on shopping and focused mainly on Delphi. Lunch in the Delphi village took a little over an hour, and the final village stop was just a short photo break. The lunch restaurant in the village was overpriced (I went to a different restaurant from what the guide recommended), but the lamb ribs tasted good. We returned to the city around seven.
Angela’s English was very clear, and she was friendly with smiles and helpful throughout the day. She sent the meeting point prior to the day and reminders on the day via WhatsApp, gave good explanations during the tour, and shared some restaurant recommendations upon my request afterward.
The VR app doesn’t align with the actual directions, but the good thing is it was expected and the site itself has plenty of information panels.
Overall, the tour is worth its price and I’m very satisfied.

Very easy to book and a great pirce. Angela was a fabulous guide who was very organised and kept us all to time and was very approachable throughout the trip. Dimitris driving was excellent. Comfortable ride. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Delphi. VR at the site was ok but for me would have been more impressive as part of a video display in the museum.

Fantastic guide and well organised trip. Wonderful ancient site in the mountains, was nice to get out of Athens for a bit. Lots of restaurants in Delphi town to choose from at lunchtime.

Our guide, Dido, was very knowledgeable. It was disappointing that parts of Delphi were closed due to rocks falling down hills, so not as much to see as we wanting to see-- not our tour guide's fault. The virtual guide had potential, but its technical operation was problematic. The Delphi museum was interesting. The bus ride to and from Athens was rather long-- 3+ hours each way.

Delphi is amazing, as it has been for for over 2,500 years. The bus escort is very friendly and accommodating. The bus escort does not go with you into the site so you are entirely dependent on the VR audio tour app .
The virtual reality audio tour is very glitchy and non-intuitive. For these VR tours to be successful, they must be a combination of the very best in-person guides that tell you where you're at, what you're looking at, why it's important, it's history and point out distinctive landmarks, so you can keep your orientation and know where you are going next.
This VR guide was supposed to be geosynchronous so it would do most of those things if it were properly engineered. Unfortunately, it is a fail.
I stopped using mine after the first likely landmarks. It did not line up with what I was looking at nor was it oriented in direction of the mountain versus the slope so it was disorienting and became an incredible waste of time.
My advice is download another walking audio app and use that instead of the provided tour operator's system. Use this operator if you need a ride to and from the site , which was fine, but but expect to be disappointed if you are expecting an activity that resembles any sort of a guided tour like you've experienced anyplace else in the world. Unfortunate but that's just the way it is. If you love archeology and spectacular ruins, Delphi can be quite delightful!

I liked it. There was enough time for everything, the tour guide was super nice and did the interesting introduction, and the VR really made the whole trip much much better than just seeing some old ruins.

Today I visited Delphi and saw an unique blend of mythology, history, archeological findings, cultural heritage and ancient spirit. Vasilis led the group as a very friendly, informative, helpful and professional tour guide adding extra value to the tour. It was one interesting, pleasant and enriching experience, which definiyely worths. I strongly recommend to check it out.

Sotiris is just a star. The whole bus was in love with him and his sweet and solid energy. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge, but he is one of those incredible souls that doesn't push it, you can just sense his knowledge bubbling beneath the surface. We ate lunch together and he gathered all the other solo travellers and anyone else who wanted to join him. I cannot recommend him and Vagellis enough for their hospitality, patience and genuineness.
When booking, try to secure your place with Sotiris - you won't be disappointed. I am only sorry that I didn't carry more cash with me - the tip I gave was not enough for what they deserved, for what was an unforgeable day out of some 10 hours!! Highly recommended. Thanks both, and see you again for another adventure I hope! :)

It was a great trip. Delphi and it's museum are very interesting with a great history. But the real star of the trip was the amazing view of the mountains and lake. Now I understand why the ancient Greeks believed this was the center of the world. Long ride but they stopped each way for breaks. Great value and a worthwhile way to spend a day in Greece. Our guide George was very good.

This was the perfect tour for me. I hate tours when a guide lectures for an hour while you stand there not moving...this tour isn't like that at all. The guide is there more to make sure you get to the correct place and can of course answer questions, but you receive a smart phone for the tour so that you can go at your own pace. The price was great, and I liked having free time in a nearby town for lunch. The only thing that could've been better was some confusion at the pick-up point. There was no sign or anyone making announcements. I only found the guide/bus when another woman happened to ask a random bus driver if he knew anything about our tour and he pointed us to the correct place.

Tells you that you will do a stop in Delphi, however, the guide then told us that Delphi is 'full' and they had very conveniently booked us tables at a restaurant on the way back - it's a tourist trap where guides get food for free, but you really have no choice but to go as there is nothing else close by. We skipped Delphi altogether, no explanation given other than it's holiday season - yeah, that's why we're also here? Delphi Oracle was closed due to fallen rocks.
Guide didn't have enough VR devices (32 for 52 people), so we had to share and gave up on that a few minutes in.
Overall very mediocore experience, not as advertised, but semi cheap for what you do get. Definitely would not book again.

Delphi was definitely worth visiting. The road was closed so we're weren't able to see the Temple of Apollo, which was disappointing. The self guiding cellphone tour did not function well and the sound on our devices was unreliable. Our tour guide was OK but did not offer a lot of information without being asked. Time was crunched at times because we had to take a longer route because of the road closure.

It was a great experience for me. We couldn’t visit the village on the list because of some road problem I guess but my priority was Delphi so I was happy at the end. But big applause goes to Vasilis. He was very nice, gentle, helpful, funny and always smiling young man! He is doing great job! Consider yourself lucky if you have him!

This was a very well organised trip into Delphi. We went on a rainy day but the atmosphere once there was very good. The climb to the top ruins was slippery in the rain though, but manageable. Our group was quite small and we had plenty of room on the coach, spacious coach and good temperature.
Our guide was Thanos, he was very sweet and helpful and gave us clear instructions and information throughout the coach trip. I liked that we were left to explore independently once at the site.
We had an hour afterwards in the town to get some food. It was off-season in November so most shops were closed but was nice to stretch legs before the drive back.
Not guaranteed to be back on time. Athens traffic at around 6pm is very busy (not the tours fault at all, part of being in a city) but worth noting, we got back at about 19:20.

(A few months late to review) we had a great time. This tour doesn't come with a full guide at every location, but overall a great value for people who want easy transportation, and don't mind self-exploring sites.
GPS was somewhat inaccurate to locate the pick up spot pin-cushioned on the map for Omonias- Hondos Center, but we quickly found fellow travelers to ease our nerves, and someone from the tour showed up 5min before meet up time. Smooth ride to Delphi, we felt we had plenty of time both at the Delphi archeological site and the museum (though it was so hot on that day we didn't complete the full hike up.). The iPad/remote controller worked well for a while but once it got reset it was really hard to get back on track, and we didn't use it thereafter, which was fine. We also felt we had plenty of time for self-funded lunch in the town of Delphi. We basically had the Tholos of Athena Pronaia all to ourselves, however briefly, in the afternoon! We had a fun time chatting about Tsiporo with our tour coordinator also (sorry, I can't remember her name). Ride back to Athens was also smooth.

Some comments to be aware of when booking:
- Day ended up actually being 11 hours (we were the first pick up and last drop off)
- Lunch was in Delphi, not Arachova as per the listing description. Still lovely, but something to be aware of
- The visual component of the VR tool (smart phone) did not ‘orientate’ properly which made that function very difficult to use. Great to use as an audio guide though!
