We loved our boat operator, Butter. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and he was working all by himself! We learned so much about Amsterdam and its history. We really enjoyed our canal cruise!

Booked an open boat. can't see sights through plastic cloudy roofs on boats

Main issue is with website, website unclear. I requested/booked an open boat as in picture and got a covered boat. Name of company not clear on booking form. e-boats,classic boats etc there are lots of companies not well advertised. should has a photo and company name clearly on booking so you can identify easily the boat as they all park in same area on the canal. Seat cushion area not dried properly so we had wet jeans.Tour captain was friendly but not a very structured tour information, came across haphazardly. information girl stood with her back to us so the 3 bits of information she gave we couldn't hear. friendly crew just need more structured tour information to point out sights.

My wife and I pre-booked a canal boat trip with E Boats Amsterdam departing at 18:00 on the 29th of June. We were at the arranged pickup point approximately 20 minutes before departure, but to our big disappointment they didn’t show up. The money for the trip (42€) was deducted but no information about a cancellation or delay was provided from the arranger. After waiting an additional 10-15 minutes or so, we decided to go with another boat company, Friendship, who were awesome and whom I would warmly recommend. I’ve emailed E Boats requesting a full and prompt refund, but I don’t hold out much hope.

Useless tour operator

We waited 30mins, the boat didn't turn up and we were unable to communicate with the tour operator. Useless and a waste of time.

Fun filled boat cruise!

We had a great evening on this boat tour. We opted for the open bar and definitely got our money’s worth! Everyone on the boat had a great sense of humour and the banter with Ben was great! Very knowledgeable team and happy to answer all our questions about Amsterdam and the canals. Would definitely recommend to friends!

L'accueil était sympa mais il faut sois-même se débrouiller pour accéder au bateau. Des fils d’attente pour des compagnies concurrentes au même moment et au même endroit. Le guide n’a quasiment pas parlé du trajet à part 3-4 anecdotes ici et là. Ne parlait pas très bien anglais et ne racontait rien d’extraordinaire. Était très souvent sur son téléphone et ne semblait pas se soucier de ce qui se passait autour.

Ich hatte im Vorfeld gebucht und bezahlt, es war aber kein Boot vor Ort. Erst 30min nach der vereinbarten Zeit bekam ich Info, dass die Fahrt nicht stattfindet.

Tuvimos mucha suerte porque al reservar con Viator nos reservaron el mejor sitio en el barco y por 10€ barra libre de cerveza, vino e incluso gintonics. El capital del barco, Josua, sabía español y fue muy majo con nosotros. Nos encantó la experiencia. Por poner una pega, las bebidas no están muy frías y el gintonics sin hielo.
