What a great trip. Crew was great. An appropriate amount of time spin on historical facts and the rest on some light comedy and small talk. I would have to say this was the best tour I've been on in a long time. The crew attended to our needs and made us feel special. One note is that this boat was the number one voted boat last year in all of Amsterdam. The boat formally owned by the Heineken family has bulletproof windows and is top notch. This is the tour to go on.

Everything about this experience was fantastic… The boat was beautiful the Captain lovely and the rest of the crew were friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable… The food and wine were perfect. A great atmosphere and evening!!!

This is by far the nicest boat and crew on the canals. An elegant environment with great food and drinks along with expert guides providing the narrative along the way. Nathan was an excellent guide and host. This is the canal cruise to book.

Our canal host & driver was Okka, who was very engaging and full of knowledge of the city of Amsterdam. The boat was beautiful, the weather was beautiful, the food and beverage selection was great.
While this tour is more expensive than many other canal tours that are offered, it was well worth the cost for the exceptional.service we received.
The meeting location was convenient and easy to find. Boarding went smoothly. The boat was not crowded and the seats were comfortable.
I would highly recommend this tour.

Virginia and Pax were the very best guides! I loved Virginia’s deep knowledge of Amsterdam history and her fun stories about the history of the city. She brought a great vibe to the canal tour and made the whole experience spectacular! Highly recommend!

Captain Will kept us laughing from start to finish with his sharp wit and playful charm, while Ellen impressed us with a wealth of fascinating facts and stories that brought the city’s history and character to life. The views from the boat were stunning, but what truly made the trip special was the warm, welcoming atmosphere on board. The food was delicious, the drinks were plentiful, and the service felt effortless. It was the perfect blend of relaxation, entertainment, and discovery — easily a highlight of our time in Amsterdam. We booked this last minute & we are SO glad we did. Virginia was the voice (tour guide) she did GREAT! You could hear her, she spoke well & shared a wealth of knowledge about the area! Kudos to the bar, keeping the bubbles going, cheese plates were perfect. Thank you to the captain & boat crew for keeping us a float - lovely & smooth ride on a very nice boat! We think 2 hours is the way to go.

An amazing way to learn about the city, the canals and the history of Amsterdam! We loved our cruise. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and professional. We had a super time. The boat is immaculate, with leather seating and spacious tables. The windows were down and the glass roof was open. There were generously served drinks and nice snacks and good company. The views were constantly really interesting and the crew, Fond, Joe and Heine couldn't do enough for you and were also amazing. It was a trip highlight for us.

the captain was hilarious, played great music too! annabella was an excellent tour guide and attentive bartender. lots of interesting history of amsterdam and the views were gorgeous. cannot recommend taking the evening cruise enough!

My husband and I had been on an ultimate Amsterdam canal cruise in the past and it was the highlight of our trip so we wanted to bring our son and his girlfriend. But it was incredibly different and very disappointing. If you are looking for a small boat experience with an outside area, be very careful which boat you book. While the staff were knowledgeable and nice, it was extremely touristy and not the vibe we were looking for. I feel like I disappointed my family and wasted over 300€.

The teams on board and the boat were very pleasant. The anecdotes during the crossing too, but unfortunately we were in a closed boat with more than 11 people, contrary to what was mentioned in the Viator advert. A mistake that led to a little disappointment on arrival. Once again, Pure Boats is a very good company and I'd recommend it to friends and family.

John Green was terrific. He was knowledgeable about Amsterdam history, friendly, fun and a great host. The food was good, and drinks were excellent; open bar. He took us to “Ted Lasso bridge”, as well as past every notable place on the canals. We did this same tour last year and loved it, so we wanted to do it again. The weather was great, and the boat was beautiful and safe. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely gorgeous boat, and friendly attentive staff. Was a nice to learn a bit about Amsterdam as we cruised the canals. Small intimate guest size made was nice, wine glasses never were empty. Easy to access via tram, there wasn’t a sign notating where the boat was but it’s quite obvious when you get to the canal. Overall, happy with the tour!

What an amazing trip! The most beautiful boats on the canals, snacks are perfect, and open bar! Martin, our captain and guide, was excellent. Really lovely guy with great knowledge of the history of Amsterdam. Learnt so much, including how Amsterdam got its name!
