What are people saying about Amsterdam

It was great being picked...
It was great being picked up at our hotel. We didn’t have to worry about how to get to meeting location. Our driver and guide Reiner was wonderful. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. He was knowledgeable about the areas we were going to. He is a very caring person( always making sure we were ok). We enjoyed the guided wooden shoe factory tour and our favorite of all was the open boat ride on the canals of Geithoorn. It was really nice of Reiner to give us suggestions for restaurants for dinner and he offered to drop us off either at our hotel or somewhere close to a restaurant we wanted to go to.

TAKE THIS TOUR!!! Seriously, the BEST canal tour in Amsterdam.
I cannot overstate how amazing this canal cruise was. It was worth every penny. Don't do the 15 euro cruises with 100 people on them. Captain Sebi's boat seats 10 folks max and it's such a delightful intimate experience. His boat has a cover so you can still take your tour if it's raining and there is a delightful outdoor deck you can sit on when the weather is nice.
When I was planning my trip to Amsterdam, I was like "ugh, are these canal tours even worth it they seem really touristy and basic." A friend of mine told me that a) yes I absolutely have to but b) find a tour that seats no more than a dozen folks. I am SO glad I listened to her!
With the smaller group, Captain Sebi has the GOOD booze (nice wine, high end local gin and Jenever) and Danish snacks (that he picks up freshly made from his cousin's restaurant). Captain Sebi was born and raised in The Netherlands and has lived in Amsterdam for decades. He has wonderful stories and his smaller boat allows you to go down the smaller canals in the extremely cute residential neighborhoods.
I'll also note that as an American, the 80 euro price point ensures your fellow cruisers are more sophisticated travelers who are excited to be in Amsterdam for more than just the red light district. You're not going to get croc-wearing weirdos who complain about things being "different from America." My group was a fantastic group of folks who I genuinely enjoyed spending time with. One of the couples on the tour actually went TWICE they liked it so much and I nearly went again later in the week with coworkers who came in for a conference (the timing just didn't work out).
Truly - do not do any other canal tour other than Olivier's and Captain Sebi's. You will not regret it and if I visit Amsterdam again, I'm booking his tour again!

An excellent tour of two of Amsterdam’s great museums!
Our tour with Anna N was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and shared her awareness on how to interpret the artwork of various era’s in the Rijksmuseum and then gain some insight as to the brilliance of Van Gogh’s ability to paint distance perspective on canvas, along with the interesting journey his life took. Our time at the Rijksmuseum was about 3 hours and then about 2.5 hours at the Van Gogh museum with about a 30 minute break in between to grab a quick lunch. It was a long day and if we were to see these two museums again, we would do each on separate days. But definitely ask to be on Anna N’s tour!

The tour guide was super...
The tour guide was super knowledgeable and friendly! He gave so much knowledge from his personal experience as well as history of the city. It was so fun to learn so much about the cities history and how that cultivates the vibe people chase in Amsterdam today

Great driver and Tour manager, Jamal and Ibrahim
I traveled with Ibrahim and Jamal, as the driver. Both worked hard to ensure guests were happy. For example, Ibrahim waited at the cheese factory registers as people made purchases so that he could take them back to the bus for us while we explored the town. The 2 towns were a pleasant change, and a chance to see a different lifestyle from busy Amsterdam. I wasn't crazy for the black van we traveled in though. Seats were crazy close. I couldn't hold a pizza box in my lap, that is how close the seats were together and they don't recline. I am not a huge person, but I am not tiny either. Additionally, the overhead space didn't accommodate even a very small backpack. Tour was relaxing. Ibrahim and Jamal are fantastic in regards to customer care.

Wonderful way to see the Dutch countryside
Our tour guide was Annemarie. She was amazing! My partner and I booked a group tour, however it ended up being just the two of us which made this experience even better for us. Annemarie explained everything so well, and also went at a pace that was comfortable for us with biking for the first time in Amsterdam. The e-bikes were great for the long distance. We loved stopping at the cheese & clog farm too! The best cheese!! This tour was great :)

Loved this tour! Robin...
Loved this tour! Robin was a wonderful tour guide. He was so knowledge about the city and very engaging. I'd highly recommend this tour. We brought our two high school boys and they boys enjoyed it as well. We did this as soon as we got to Amsterdam and it was worth it to get an overview of the city.

Great tour!
I loved this tour that visited several countryside areas around Amsterdam. Our guide was fantastic and she told great stories.
Her name was Carly, well thats how its spelled in English but who knows how it was really spelled. She was a great guide and she told us things about how Dutch people think. I loved her story about another Dutch person saying her town Almere has no soul. That sort of insight is something you can only get from a local. I loved the group size was only about 20 people, but thats just the benefit of traveling in shoulder season before the high season starts. My favorite part of this tour was Volendam, I really loved it there. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a different side to the Netherlands.

Our tour with Eveline...
Our tour with Eveline went well. She picked us up at our hotel and walked us through central Amsterdam. We could have taken better advantage of the private tour by making a list of sites we wanted to see, but she was still able to take us to the highlights even without such a list and get us to the canal tour at the end of the tour on time.

Had a great ride!
We had a great ride and experience. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked that we had a "sweeper" at the back to make sure no one was left behind. I also liked our group was the only riders in helmets (optional). Highly recommend! And bring a coat and gloves!

Unique Canal Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had the best time with Skipper Paap! He showed us way more than we expected and took the time to capture several photos of us. I’ve taken a few canal tours and this one was far more exciting and enjoyable than the others. Highly recommend this private 90-min tour!

Fun Tour!
Fun way to see Amsterdam! Red was a great tour guide! Kind and knowledgeable of historical information. The bikes are fun, but definitely be on your A game, paying attention to all of the cars and bikes at different crossings. So glad we did this tour and experienced Amsterdam like a local on a bicycle!
