This was so much fun! Very cold, good thing they give you a jacket to put on. You can only stay in the cave for so long, after a while I could hardly feel me fingers! We loved the shot glasses made of ice and the beer mugs. Would definitely do it again!

You literally are in a storeroom decorated to look like ice with cold air piped in. The shot glasses made of ice were cool- but it was a tiny space and very cheesy.

Weird vibe

I was really looking forward to visiting the icebar as we had been to a smaller one at home. I’m not sure if I’m too old to see it enjoyable (only 22!) but the vibe just didn’t suit us. All of the staff came across as rude and quite vulgar, we felt quite rushed and under pressure to get in, finish our drinks, and get out. There were a decent variety of options within the icebar itself but the ones we tried weren’t particularly enjoyable (nuts & nougat vodka shot). We didn’t bother paying for another drink in the main bar due to the atmosphere there, but I ended up being sick throughout the night which I suspect came from the dodgy tasting vodka. Maybe it would be a better experience if on a night out.

Good experience, you get 3 drinks tokens, 1 for the main bar and 2 inside the ice bar. We had the option to have the main bar drink before or after the ice bar experience so we didn't have to rush. It was cold inside the room but manageable for the 20-30 minutes we were inside. Gloves and coats were provided but we didn't need them as it was a cold day and we came prepared. Selection of drinks in the ice bar included some Vodka or a Heineken, all served in a glass made of ice! Staff were fantastic throughout but the ice bar could get a little crowded at times.

I believe for the price of two tickets you can go to another bar and have a great better choice of drinks cocktails. In the ice you’re offered shots of coconut flavored surgery drinks. Not worth it!

Remember to layer your clothes and be ready as it is very cold! A much younger group as I am way pass ages 20-30! That is the age of enjoyment as I observed. It was fun and another site in Amsterdam.

Overhyped but something to do

Bit disappointed, having been to other ice bars I was expecting something similar but that wasn’t the case. Your ushered in and given 3 tokens, one for the main bar and 2 for the ice bars. Having had our first drink we were all ushered into queuing to go into the ice bar, by all I mean approx 40 people all together! With 1 person serving the bar and only 1 drink allowed at a time you spend most of your time queuing. The rooms small, nowhere to sit, an iced polar bear carving in the corner and not much else. By the time you get your first drink your told you have 5 minutes left to query and get the second drink or you lose it! Other ice bars have staggered entrance, more staff to serve and places to sit with a bigger area. Considering the price it’s worth a visit but don’t expect much. The staff are friendly though and the drinks we did have were good

Fun experience, very busy 7pm on a Friday night! Not many places to sit while u have your first drink in the bar area. Then u get 2 more drinks in the ice bar when they take a group of u through. Glasses are actually made of solid ice so make sure you wear gloves or take the ones on offer to borrow!

We really enjoyed this, had issues with our flights going out and the staff were super accommodating and understanding with this. Get a lot for your money, and great experience. The only downside was the bartender who completely ignored me and my partner at the bar, and served people stood directly behind us before us. And was too busy playing the air drums in between.

Good experience but very very small inside , you do get coats and gloves but the coats do not do up , also you are only allowed 1 glass inside , so if you get a beer then a shot that’s ok but if you choose shot then beer , you would only be left with a shot of beer for your second drink , we had a nice time But I think we was expecting a bit more .

Super cool. When you go in it is a regular bar first. Drinks were good and staff were great. Bartenders were awesome. Inside the ice bar is so cold but very fun.

It was a lot of fun! They supply a jacket and gloves (makes it hard to take pictures. I had to keep taking my gloves off). If you think you may get tipsy on 3 drinks in a short amount of time, you will not. Drinks are not strong. But it was worth it for the experience!

Great, we got their in plenty of time and although you might want to try squeeze as much time from it as possible, 15-20 minutes is more than enough. The staff are friendly and cooperative and plenty of fun. I brought my Dad who's a bit older and between us two and our friends, all enjoyed it thoroughly! ✌🏻 #IceIceBaby

Not the best ice bar

This is my third ice bar and it was my least favorite. The ice bars in Orlando, Florida and on the Norwegian cruise were better. Xtra Cold Ice Bar in Amsterdam tried to make it fun with a pirate theme, but it was just cheesy. The coats they gave you were not warm enough and the ice bar was really tiny. They packed people in so it was hard to take a photo and the syrupy sweet cocktails gave me a headache. Still love an ice bar concept, and if you haven’t experienced one before…you should try it out. If you’ve already been, skip this one.
