Great tour (and tour guide Rebecca) for giving an overview of the Jewish plight in WWII Amsterdam

This was a very thorough and detailed tour which gave an overview of what the Jewish community in Holland, specifically Amsterdam and the Frank family, experienced during WWII. Our guide, Rebecca, was knowledgeable and came prepared with other visual aids that helped set the scene of what life was like in late 1930s to mid 1940s Amsterdam. This tour is highly recommended to anyone who is unfamiliar with this historical topic. Even though I have been to Amsterdam many times and have been to the Anne Frank house and museum multiple times I still got a lot from this tour and encourage others to take it.

Exceeded Expectations!

Eva, of Dutch Tours, guided us on our fabulous small group day tour of Kinderdijk and Delft; it was fantastic! Focusing on these two places which were critical in the history and culture of the Netherlands, without also cramming in a stop in Rotterdam, gave us time to appreciate snd absorb what we were experiencing. And Eva’s expert knowledge and charming personality (along with great driving skills in a very comfortable coach), made the tour EXACTLY what we wanted. It exceeded expectations. Great ride around central Amsterdam, with excellent guides

Our group of 11 riders set out under wet skies, guided by the intrepid, knowledgeable and very nice Lennard. The rain let up after a little while and we enjoyed a fun, easy ride around various points in the City Center, learning a lot of history as we went. Bikes were comfortable and easy to operate. The route was beautiful and easily doable for anyone of average fitness. Staff at the shop were professional and friendly. I highly recommend this 3-hour experience!

This was a really great...

This was a really great experience, especially if you’re looking for a shorter tour of Amsterdam that lasts around 3–4 hours. I was traveling solo and had a long layover in Amsterdam, so I decided to book this bike tour, and I’m really glad I did. It was a great way to see a lot of the city in a short amount of time. The bikes are good quality. I personally chose the electric bike, but honestly, I would recommend getting the regular bike instead. Amsterdam is extremely flat, so you really don’t need the extra assistance unless you simply prefer it. A special thanks to Skip, who was our guide. He was a great guy, very knowledgeable, and explained everything really well. The way he told the stories and explained the city made Amsterdam much more interesting and enjoyable to explore. The cheese stop was also a really nice addition. The cheeses were genuinely delicious, and it was a fun little break during the tour. Overall, I highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re traveling solo, have limited time in Amsterdam, or simply want a quick and enjoyable way to explore the city. Great tour and a big thanks to Skip!

Mark was a terrific guide for our e-bike tour. I would recommend this tour as you get to see some many areas of Amsterdam and the countryside while biking. Mark’s bike lost his magnet so he was on his own power but he powered on the entire way. Thanks and great job Mark!

So Much Fun!!

This is a 40km bike ride but the e-bikes made it very easy indeed. Kendra was a great host and guide and made the trip both entertaining and informative. Zaanze Schans itself is a very touristy attraction and, for us, probably our least favourite part (apple bacon pancakes excepted). However, the bike ride through both city and country settings was just delightful and always felt completely safe.

Wonderful escape from the city centre

Astrid did a great job of leading our group onto a ferry and out of the city into the beautiful and peaceful countryside. She shared lots of information and answered all other questions with humour and enthusiasm with a good pace and number of stops. Loved the apple pie stop and lovely chats with fellow group members. Great experience would definitely recommend this riding experience through Amsterdam, guided tour was great experience especially if you do not know your way around Amsterdam. Some in the group had difficulty keeping up at times. However the guides are patient and willing to wait for other group members.
