Easily the coolest attraction in town, Amsterdam Icebar Xtracold is made completely from ice — with frozen furniture, walls and even drinking glasses. On arrival at your pre-booked time slot in the lounge, you’re greeted with a complimentary cocktail and provided a thermal poncho and mittens before you step into the frosty bar with a temperature of 14 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 10 degrees Celsius)!
Once inside, relax at leisure amid the cozy yet icy ambiance. Enjoy two other drinks on the house.

Before you make your way to the pier near Amsterdam Central Station for your cruise, make sure you book your timeslot at the local office located at Damrak 26. At the booked time, board the glass-topped sightseeing boat for your 1-hour sightseeing cruise. As you glide effortlessly through the city, you’ll see countless top Amsterdam attractions like the affluent Golden Bend (Gouden Bocht) neighborhood, the Anne Frank House and the Seven Bridges of Reguliersgracht. 10 family members took part in this Trip & we had a fantastic time at the Ice bar. Host fun & it was -10 degrees. They give puffs jacket & gloves to enter - we had great fun & would recommend. The boat trip was in opposite direction to ice bar & hotel. Hotel rang Viator for help & the person at the other end was unfriendly & rude. Sent him on his, I tried via the chat / again did not get help, we did not them go on the canal part of trip & wS disappointed with that part

No one was at meeting place by canal. Requesting a refund. Very confusing and disappointing. Will call later
Absolutely dire one of the dirtiest places in the whole of Amsterdam expensive rubbish don’t waste your money it’s one small little ice room you are herded in like cattle if you expect it to be like one of the others in other countries you will be very very very annoyed and disappointed just don’t bother spend your money on something a lot better
Really good fun. A must do when in Amsterdam. The photos you can get are great. Really good to start a night out.
The Ice Bar is a nice cosy bar, all the staff/crew are amazingly friendly and welcoming! The ice glasses are brilliant!
The cruise was a bit underwhelming tbh, hard to see the sites of the city from a covered boat....but would be a good option on a rainy day too. Still enjoyed it and glad I went so all in a good experience.
Ice bar was really good but you could just pay separately. Unfortunately there was no sign of the canal ride, no one on hand, no one knew about it. We waited on the dock for an hr and asked 4 boats who were none the wiser. Really disappointing not to be able to do the full experience that I paid for
The ice bar was a great experience and it was fab drinking from ice glasses. Unfortunately we were let down by the canal cruise and had to make our own way.
Loved every minute had a special birthday even got a free drink. Staff cheerful and happy . Brilliant experience will be back. But please get some warmer gloves

The events themselves were really enjoyable and booking in advance was better for us. Only thing I would say is when doing the cruise we weren’t told to be there 15 mins before we were due to leave a lot of people including ourselves were disappointed that we had to que for a 30 mins before getting on board

Enjoyed the seeing and hearing about the sights we passed on the canal boat.
The Xtracold Icebar was great fun. We loved it.
The Icebar was a fun (if very chilli) experience!!!! 😁
The canal cruise was a relaxed way to see a different side of Amsterdam.
The ice bar is very hokey. Basically it's a freezer with a couple ornaments and crappy alcohol. The 1 hour cruise was actually great but the ice bar people could not give us proper directions to get to the cruise. They were actually rude and stated it was not their responsibility. Kinda weird when we bought the package together. Even just a sheet of paper with directions would have been fine. We missed out boat but the cruise team put us on the next boat.
The booking did not tell you that the canal boat was to sail miles away from the ice bar, this needs to made more clear. We managed to turn up for our ice bar on time thinking the canal cruise was in the same area.
To be fair the canal cruise was honoured the following day just needs more clarity
The ice bar was fine, but the information on how to achieve the tickets and a time for the canal tour were super confusing and we didn't use the canal portion of our tickets because it was too late to go find the ticket office and secure a seat on the canal tour. The two events together were not a convenient or viable option together. We would like a refund.
Ice bar was great but absolutely no instructions on where to go for the canal boat tour. We were sent from pillar to post by other boat companies so gave up as couldn't find it. disappointing
The ice bar was very fun, but quick, around 40 minutes in all. However, I was told over the phone to do the canal cruise first and ended up almost missing the time slot for the icebar. The time slot given on the ticket is for the ice bar and to do the canal cruise you must book a time slot yourself. This was not made clear even after I had to call for directions because they weren't included. Sadly, we did not get to do the cruise because it was booked solid once we finished the ice bar! The bar experience alone was not worth the price.
The Information were not correct, it was really difficult to find the Informations. It was not clear.
Lovely canal tour, loved the fact we could book the canal tour for any day or time as we did the ice bar in the evening and canal tour day after. Staff on both tours were great
We had booked the ice bar and cruise and we had asked the staff on where to get the cruise and nobody could tell us,
We would have thought that with this package there would have been someone to take us to wherever the cruise started from.

Experience was good but very quick inside
Quite fun but nowhere as good as the London Ice bar before it closed. Gloves grabbed off people leaving and puffer jackets with no hoods which didn’t do up mean those unprepared got very cold. Bar cramped and ice dirty, floor sticky. Staff good and drinks nice but didn’t stay long.
The ice bar was okay, you were rushed in and out and not really sure what was going on. We wanted to get the photographer to take our picture for a keep safe but we’re told to get out the way as they were filling up so no pictures. Also it was torrential rain so we did not go on the canal tour
We were told to be at the Ice Bar for 16.20. The bar was so small and the free drinks were pitiful. The ice glasses had a big lump in the middle so the amount you got was minimal. The shots were ok but again cheap stuff. The ice bar itself was a tiny little room with a metal floor. We expected something bigger. We then were told we had to make our way to the train station which was an hours walk to catch the canal boat for the second part of our experience.
We had already walked down!!! The email wasn’t at all clear and so we didn’t know that we had to book a time in the canal boat either so we were so tired we went on that the next day. The canal cruise was lovely though.
The bar is such a Unique experience, they staff is very welcoming. The boat was clean and has different languages for the guide tour, the staff at the boat operator are friendly
We were disappointed that the beer tap wasn’t working, limiting our choice of drinks. The bar was smaller than I expected.
