Anne was a wonderful tour guide for the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh. She provided an excellent amount of information and made sure we saw all the important masterpieces and even some from the less famous artists. She made the museums so interesting and fun! The morning half of the tour was basically a private tour and the afternoon portion a few people joined us but Anne managed us and our time beautifully. Her tour is a MUST if you don’t have days to explore the museums! Highly recommend!!

Our guide, Victoria, was excellent! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the museums, including: artists, individual works, and current exhibits. Victoria also speaks English which was very helpful for us. We had a great time with another lovely couple of travelers!

Diana was the best tour guide! I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with her and learning about Dutch artists. Her warm personality and visual aids were plus to the presentation. The plan of going to two museums in a day was daunting but with her guidance we were able to see almost the entirety of both museums.

One of our priorities in coming to Amsterdam was to tour the Rijks and Van Gogh museums and knew we couldn’t do it without an expert guide. Ewald was exceptional. His knowledge of history and art is vast. He made sure to tailor the tour to what we wanted to see but we deferred to him and his expertise to lead the way. Such a phenomenal experience that anyone interested in art history should do. The best.

Anna N was exceptional with stories and scandals which both added knowledge and awe to my tour! I did both Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum on the same day with a short lunch break in-between. Anna N was equally passionate at both museums.

This was an excellent "best of" tour of the two most popular art museums in Amsterdam. Anna was our guide and was extremely interesting, knowledgable, and had great background info on artists and the art work we viewed.
I learned things I'd never heard about what specific items meant if included in a painting of that period.
Her background stories were fascinating as well as informative.

Diana, our guide was excellent! Clearly has studied these artists in depth and is able to communicate what she has learned to tourists who, like me, likely know little coming into to the tour. If you are doing the combo all in one, just know it is a lot of walking with about an hour for lunch. So if you have the time, you might want to break it up over 2 days. But both museums are worth the visit.

When first planning our trip to Amsterdam and Holland the thought of spending 4-5 hours in museums was a big turnoff. But our fantastic tour guide, amazing exhibits and architecture of the buildings we toured in made this a very informative and memorable experience. We highly recommend this small group tour if you're visiting Amsterdam for more than a day and want to fully appreciate the art, history and culture of the Netherlands. An added bonus (not included in the price of the tour) was lunch at the Cobra Cafe which is located in the plaza area between the two museums. Great food, drinks and pleasant setting to relax and reenergize between the 2 tours.

Visiting both the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum was something that we recommend for anyone visiting Amsterdam.
Our tour guide Anna made the experience so much better than if we had visited on our own as she provided so much insight into the numerous artworks that we saw. It became obvious right from the beginning that her knowledge was based upon a lot of reading and research into many of the artworks as she provided not only what is normally discussed about certain paintings but she also had additional tidbits about the artists. It made the whole tour in both museums so much more interesting. We would definitely recommend taking a tour of these museums as they contain some of the best works of the masters.

I had an amazing experience on the guided tour with Diana! She was incredibly communicative and knowledgeable, providing insightful details throughout the visit. Both museums were fantastic, but the Van Gogh Museum was definitely the highlight for me. We were a bit hesitant about this double tour since we have our 9 years old son with us, we thought he will get bored but thankfully Frank our tour guide he made the tour fun and educational as well, though long but we had a good lunch break in between, I recommend this tour for art/history lovers

This tour was our highlight in our first time visit to Amsterdam. Our guide Anna Nikolaeva was excellent, very knowledgeable and professional. She was able to handle both great museums and provided us a lot of information and knowledge. She was easy going and funny. You won't regret to get this activity! I highly recommended this activity. It's a must while you are in Amsterdam.

The combined tours for both museums was a great idea and the best utilization of my short time during a visit to Amsterdam. Heard that tickets were sold out for the Rijksmuseum on the day of my tour but I was extremely pleased to have pre-booked my tours especially after finding out how close the museums are to each other. Identification of tour guide is a little tricky because there are multiple guides coordinating tours at the same location - perhaps giving them a visible number would help

My family really enjoyed this tour. We had Klaas for the morning tour of Rijksmuseum and he was entertaining and knowledgeable and clear. In the afternoon we had Diana and she was also awesome. My kids (8 and 10) paid attention most of the day, which is a testament to how interesting both of our guides were. Loved it. The guides made the museums come alive for us.

The museums are amazing but we wouldn't have gotten to appreciate nearly as much as we did without our guide Janet. She is Amazing! Janet knows EVERYTHING about the museums and answered all of our questions - she personalized our experience and kept us engaged throughout the day. Janet obviously loves her work - the art, working with people, and sharing her extensive knowledge. We got to see all of the major works - and Janet was able to find a vantage point for us to truly appreciate the gorgeous works of art. I would definitely recommend this tour and I would especially recommend asking for Janet as your guide - you will have an EXCEPTIONAL visit!
