Major marine tours provides a good experience all around
Major marine tours did a great job. Super friendly staff on the Rachel Marie with Maisie, Tammy, Karter, and the other staff, one of whom made a fantastic bloody mary. They worked hard to look for wildlife and did not disappoint. Saw humpback whales coordinating bubble net feeding and another lunging feeding. Saw sea lions and lots of bird. Only thing that would have made it better was finding orcas or a mountain goat. Price was good and 4h seemed like the right amount of time as we were tired by the end and I had already seen some fantastic glaciers. On a cruise so didn't feel the need to do a whole day tour.

Birds and Bears
What an amazing adventure. Sid was very informative and gave us the unique history of Sitka as only a local can. We stopped at the raptor center and saw birds that where injured in the wild who can no longer survive on their own. Next was the Fortress of the Bear, all I can say is get ready for cuteness overload. As an added bonus there were also 20 to 30 Bald Eagles and Golden Eagles in the trees above the bears competition for our attention as much as the bears were. We'll worth it.

This excursion was booked...
This excursion was booked from the ship two days before after Princess cancelled a similar excursion. It was an excellent choice as the driver was dry but informative and the bus stopped multiple times along the way to take in the scenery and take photos. He even took our family photos (other guides do that as well bur just adding that it happens) The suspension bridge was spectacular. Views from the bridge was amazing. Beware, mosquitos are all waiting for you to cross that bridge lol. We have done the train ride in previous cruise stops.. but this was much better tour and we highly recommend it for skagway.

Amazing day on Kenai Fjord National Park
Top notch experience touring the waters at Kenai Fjord National Park. We went on a rainy day and all the animals were showing off. We saw harbor seals, sea otters, Dall’s porpoises, humpack whales, orca whales and horned puffins and a glacier calf. The captain was extremely knowledgeable, the food was great and the warm chocolate chip cookie towards the end was an unexpected surprise.
