What are people saying about Alaska

Great views and Local flavor
I had wanted to do the train excursion, but with five people it didn’t fit the budget. I found this tour which, while it didn’t have the romantic train aspect, was a very good tour for much less $$$, taking us into the mountains and across the border with a nice narrative about what we were seeing and some history of the area. We learned about the terrain and some history of Skagway. We had a few photo stops including an option to visit an old goldrush cemetery and a short hike to a waterfall for those who wanted it. Our driver, Beverly, picked us up right at the ship, was entertaining and informative, happy to answer questions and graciously took photos of all 17 of us at the border/Welcome to Alaska sign. We would recommend it as a budget minded option to see the area and get a little background of Skagway.

Simply Amazing Like Advertised!
My family and I did a tour of the Best of Sitka and we had an amazing time. We had a party of 12 so we had our own van and got to see all cool parts of Sitka. I enjoyed seeing the bears and the Eagles. Our driver Christian was awesome! What I loved most is that this tour was offered for twice as much through the cruise line. They scare you with saying their tours will wait for you. What you will find out is the companies they use are the companies you can book yourself. I highly recommend this tour in Sitka.

Entertaining and...
Entertaining and educational tour with “tall Andrew”. Very kind tour guide with a great sense of humor. Made sure to give us all the time we needed at each stop and had an answer for any of the groups questions. One of the best tours we’ve ever been on. Be prepared for the weather to change, so dress/pack accordingly.

Amazing
They were willing to seek out wildlife and stay longer even if it wasnt the "route". We saw both humpback and Orcas and multiples there of. It was so awesome seeing bubble feeding where 10 whales with there mouth open jumped out of the water at te sae time. They also swam under the boat so got t see the humpbacks close.
