Lovely walking tour, which covered Nezu Shrine, and the relaxing old town of Yanaka Ginza. Chihero shared information about the town and took us through many back streets to check out traditional houses and small shops that we definitely would not have found on our own!

Exceptional tour for a quieter view of Tokyo

Annual festival was being held at the local shrine, so got to enjoy a variety of Japanese culture and cuisine. The guide, Aoi, was very personable and being a local had a different perspective of the area. Quieter than other parts of Tokyo, which was a welcomed escape for weary travelers.

Great Guide and great Experience

Yanaka is so different from other parts of Tokyo. It was great to walk through it with someone to answer our questions and explain the area. We also really enjoyed Nezu Shrine and learning more about the Shinto religion. Finally, the shopping street was unique and fun to browse. Hina was a fantastic guide!

Great afternoon walking around Yanaka. There were only 2 of us on the tour which was amazing, felt like an intimate private walking tour. Enjoyed the scenery and snacks along the way! Loved hearing about the artisan neighbourhood and seeing the old buildings along the way. Didn't realise we were going to take a break at the cat cafe to paint a cat.. was a good little break and had fun painting my cat!! The shopping strip was great and our sake tasting experience was fantastic.. had a great time, highly recommend

Completed this walking tour around Yanaka on a weekday afternoon and it was a fascinating experience. My guide was friendly, polite, had good conversational English and clearly wanted to show me this neighbourhood. Met at advised meeting point right on time and we proceeded around the route, hearing stories and having all my questions answered. Whilst I’m not an art fan, I did enjoy decorating my plaster cat! Really enjoyed my tour and my faithful guide. He made sure I found my train station and gave me clear instructions how to get back to my hotel. Very much recommended.
