Dani was a great guide! Very knowledgeable and flexible. Thank you for showing me the Dark Side. The tour lasted 90 minutes and ended with recommendations for dinner and drinks.

Paulina was an amazing tour guide! She had so much knowledge about the Shinjuku and Kabukicho area - there there’s no way I would’ve been able to learn these things without having someone like her teach me. This was an amazing tour! Such a fun and different kind of tour. Seeing the “seedy” side of Tokyo was fascinating and enlightening. The guide Danny offered both facts and information, as well as thought-provoking and always hilarious colour commentary, on the various gambling, prostitution and drinking venues we explored. Even more, it was Danny’s overall positive and encouraging descriptions of Tokyo’s “problem areas” that reassured me of the safety of Japan as a senior solo traveller. Highly recommend this tour and the tour guide Danny!

This tour takes you around the Red Light district and the gambling area both of which are illegal in Japan.
Plus cool eating and bar areas. Plus a lovely Shinto Shrine. Just be aware you don’t finish where you start so make sure you know how to get back to your accomodation.

Super interesting tour with tons of knowledge about culture, this specific area of the city and things you would never notice just walking by. Danny our guide was awesome! He had a great sense of humor and did not shy away from some of the more taboo facts. Also willing to answer any questions (about anything, not just related to the tour). This was a more unique fun one than just your average city walking tour. We enjoyed it thoroughly - thank you Danny!!!

I have been to Tokyo many times, but have never spent much time in Shinjuku. The tour with Polina was a great experience and I learned a lot about the often strange nightlife in this part of Tokyo. Small group of just 7 people and a fantastic guide made this a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend the tour with Polina.

Our tour guide Loc was friendly ,informative and knowledgeable. His English was very good and he answered all questions put to him.
If i was to fault anything it would be the fact that the tour did not end where it started , it should have been a loop back to the beginning .
Overall i would give Loc & the tour itself a 9/10.

I learned a lot on the tour. Gray was a good tour guide. You just can’t get that info walking thru the neighborhood on your own as nothing is in English. The only glitch we had was that we could not find the tour meeting point which was supposed to be at a police box. I was looking for a telephone box. I finally had to ask someone.

The tour was as very insightful, the guide was knowledgeable - we walked through various parts of the district, it was safe and nice. We learned a lot about adult industry, traditions, local food and hotels and even saw a parade. Very good experience!

I took this tour with the tour guide named Danny, and he was great! He is funny along the way, and super friendly. His English is great and he really gives you a deep insight into the Kabukicho area. I highly recommend this. I did this during my first day in Japan, and it really helped me get the lay of the land. Highly recommend.
