Fumi was such a pleasant and informative tour guide for our Tuna Auction experience. He had such fun and detailed explanations, including props and handouts, for the entire process, which was a lot more than other tours provided. We were fortunate enough to win the lottery to be at the lower level, unfortunately did not know ahead of time that when submitting for lottery application you also need to include the tour guide so Fumi was not able to go down to the lower floor with us, so please note that when submitting application! But Fumi did his best to explain everything ahead of time which was great. For such an early start, we were thankful to be in Fumi's hands and not have to navigate our way around or try to understand what was going on. This was one of the highlights of our trips so thank you Fumi!

Our day didn’t start as planned—but it turned into one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. We had booked a tour well in advance with another company, only to be left waiting at 7:00 AM with no driver and no communication. After that disappointment, we quickly pivoted and booked a last-minute tour through Viator. That’s how we were connected with Nihon Horizon Tours, and from that point on, everything changed for the better. Within a short time, they confirmed our booking and had us on the road by 11:00 AM. Our driver, Naqvi Zahid, was exceptional from start to finish. Despite a cloudy day, he remained optimistic that we might still catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji. More importantly, he made sure the journey itself was just as rewarding. He was patient, professional, and incredibly attentive—taking us to scenic stops, pointing out great photo opportunities, and ensuring we experienced more than just the destination. We visited Lake Kawaguchiko, explored the serene Fujisan Hongū Sengen Taisha—surrounded by towering trees said to be over 700 years old—and even had time to stop, relax, and enjoy some food and drinks along the way. At every step, he ensured we were comfortable and fully engaged in the experience. By the end of the day, he had safely returned us to our hotel, and what started as a frustrating morning turned into an unforgettable tour. We are planners by nature, so when things fall apart, it’s not easy—but the way this experience was turned around meant a lot to us. The team at Nihon Horizon Tours truly came through, and it’s clear that people like Naqvi Zahid take pride in their work. They work hard, and they deserve recognition. The whole experience was great. Jay was a great host and driver he showed us around and told us more about the areas. The tour itself was great with 3 stops. We were lucky to have a good group o with another 2 passengers it would’ve been nice to have an option to private book it or have a party per car but understand logistics and costs but this is me being picky. The car itself was great very comfortable.

What a great experience with the crew at @japan.kart on helping a big party of 9 to really enjoy Shinjuku and Tokyo tower! The karts were fast enough to keep us out of trouble but also provide the excitement. Highly recommend doing this with your loved ones. Just be aware, if you decide to wear their onesies (which is a must) there are no other pockets to put your phone or devices that are easily reached. They do have free.chest harnesses for phones and works pretty good. All in all, we’ve never had so many smiling faces and stoke!!

My kids wanted to do this so bad and it was amazing. True we were nervous because we were driving with other traffic but our guide was amazing!!!! He kept looking backwards to see if we were all there. Kept capturing the moment by taking lots of pictures. We loved it. So much fun

Be prepared to walk a lot. Having said that, the scenery was beautiful. Next time, will return during the fall, I think it would be pretty with the fall foliage. Bek, our driver was great! We finished on time and saw everything on the itinerary without feeling rushed.

It was a really fun experience. They picked us up in Shibuya just a few blocks away from the Crossing. The group was taken to a few spots, A-Pit Autobacs parts store where we saw some really nice vehicles. Then we went to Daikoku Parking Area. One of the most famous car meeting areas. If not the most famous talked about meeting place. There were all sorts of vehicles. JDM, German, and even a few rarely seen in Japan American cars. We spent an hour to an hour and a half there so we got to get a good feel for what it would be like to be able to hangout there on a regular basis. From Daikoku we then went on to another smaller parking area but still popular for cars to stop at Tatsumi Parking Area. Since it was a bit rainy we didn't stay very long. But Michael our Driver/Guide. Took us on a cool drive on the C1 Highway Loop. It's the highway that most of the "racers" drove. It gives a nice and different view of Tokyo. That being at night and from the Highway. A view most of the tourists won't see from the train. Michael was a great host who told us of the history and some other good trivia for the area and what we were seeing. Michael did drop off everyone back in Shibuya and then since I was staying in Yokohama he dropped me off close to my hotel, as it was close to their home base. This was a fun experience. A different view of Tokyo that you don't get to see during the day or from the many Subways and Trains. So if you are into cars and even just want a different fun experience while in Japan.
