Everything went very smoothly. We got our advance purchase ticket the day before as they said. We scanned it in at Skytree ticket machine and got our tickets. I would recommend this company.

Viator is a SCAM. Do not purchase!! Tickets are approximately $20-35 AUD at the gate which you can reserve direct on their website or via the ticket booth at the entrance. The QR code did not work and I had to line up for the ticket booth anyways to receive a paper ticket. Waste of time and money.

I booked a trip to the Skytree in Japan. I was charged AUD 22.02 correctly. Later, I had taken from my account on 6/3/2026 AUD 230.84 for an event I know nothing off. Please explain.

Got a time slot around sunset, so could see Tokyo by day & by night. Arrive 15-30 mins early as lots of things to see in the area. Staff were very helpful & efficient.

Experience didn't happen because Skytree closed following lift breakdown yesterday leaving 20 people stuck for over 5 hours and no notification received from Viator, which would have saved us considerable time travelling there and back plus considerable additional unnecessary expense.

Good to see sunset at Mount Fuji at the top of the Skytree. We were there in later afternoon to wait to watch the sunset. It was beautiful, the sunset and the city.

Order from a different website. Viator ripped me off and lied about the tickets. I paid 2000¥ extra for the combo ticket with both 350m and 450m deck. Tried to go to 450m deck and was told I needed to purchase an additional ticket. So instead of it just being a 2000¥ premium for using Viator’s services for a combo ticket, it cost over 4000¥ more for a regular ticket, plus I had to spend an additional 2000¥ for tickets to the upper deck while I was there.

It was insanely crowded. The skip the line tickets I bought didn’t actually allow me to skip anything other than the ticket counter. It was okay. I came, I saw, I left. Great photo opportunity at the top I recommend!

Well managed facilities, crowds are BIG. We bought combo tickets - tempo and galleria floors. The elevator speed is insane, such a smooth and fast journey.

On my own, I showed up at the Tokyo Skytree early and saw that it was sold out for the day. So, the next day, I went to Viator, found a ticket for the Tokyo Skytree,and bought it.
One problem: When I got there, the QR code wouldn't work. It just put me in a constant loop without ever giving me the code. I wrote them, but decided to get my own ticket since I was there and didn't intend to stand around forever, waiting to see if and when they would reply. To their credit, I guess, they later sent a working QR code, but I was already in there on my own dime by then.
When I looked more closely at the reviews, they've done this to people over and over again. One time? Maybe it's a mistake. Twice? Maybe a temporary tech problem. Over and over again across multiple days, then pretty clearly it's deliberate. So, I don't know how this scam works, but I do think it's a scam. Viator should ban these crooks, but until the day that happens, you absolutely, unconditionally, should not buy anything from them. They'll just rip you off.

We arrived at 530pm (in Septembe) so go to see toyko day light, and night time which was cool.
The tower and lift, coffee shop, Toy Story these are all cool but be aware, that pace is busy as F.

Tokyo skytree it's self was awesome. However the activity provider, "Royal Smart Tourism" was soooo unprofessional. I couldn't download QR code and tried to call them for help. No response. Provider is located out in Dubai or something. Viator drop the ball by working with a provider that doesn't help customers. I had to pay again at the counter at Tokyo Skytree. WORST experience ever with, "ROYAL SMART TOURISM."

The tower itself is very impressive, staff incredibly friendly and plenty on hand. Getting the QR code to enter the tower was a nightmare. Took over an hour and a half of trying to 'chat' with viator to get the QR code. Why it isn't available when I purchased the tickets in unbelievable. Not having any WiFi made the situation worse still. Definitely recommend visiting the Tokyo Tower, who you get your tickets with is another matter.

I didn't take the piece of paper with the qr code on it and spent over an hour at the ticket counter and as we were on a tour we had to miss going up.
We did manage to squeeze it in at the end of our tour but it was very crowded with sunset approaching, so we did get to rush around the first deck but that was all.

This was worth the price of admission. The views were incredible and the process to access both the Tembo and Tembo Galleria decks was smooth and efficient, since Viator emailed the tickets with the QR codes ahead of time and they were easy to scan at the entry turnstiles.. My kids (ages 11 and 9) loved the displays and taking photos over the clear glass floor. They also enjoyed shopping and treats at the attached Tokyo Solamachi Mall which you can access right from the Skytree. I highly recommend this experience!

This agent accepted booking and au received confirmation and when they didn’t supply the tickets I contacted them in the day to be told they didn’t have tickets. They have ignored nearly all messages and when they eventually replied they said they’d give full refund and then only issued a partial one l. Had to involved Viator to get resolved and full refund and operator still ignoring messages.

We traveled to Tokyo Japan to have a special birthday event on the Sky Tree Tower. We purchased tickets six weeks ahead of time on Viator. As we were getting ready to go to the event Viator a canceled our tickets. Their last minute canceling was crushing as we were having a special birthday party that evening, which included Tokyo fireworks. It was nothing less than despicable.

Wouldn’t recommend!! Do not pre book this activity. I did and the day came and the visibility was non existent. I took pictures and sent them to get a refund and I was told no. So the company took my money and we saw nothing. If you are thinking of going wait until you are there and book directly with the skytree reception when you get there. That way if the weather is bad you will not waste money

It is worth going up. It was easy to reach both decks. We bypassed the lines. Weather was hazy, but still a good experience.
