This tour operator was very unprofessional. They try to reschedule this tour 18 hrs before and we said no we can’t then they confirmed the tour for the next and didn’t show up. We waited and waited. They did not have a courtesy to call to cancel. We call and found out it was cancelled.
We had to arrange our own transportation for this tour. The Viator operator was not helpful as well.
When we called for the refund it was so much of hassle to cancel. Viator told to call here and there when you are visiting you do not have for this.
Do not recommend this tour operator.
Do not book this tour in Tokyo as they are very unreliable.
We had very very bad experience.

We (4 adults) enjoyed the day. Our driver was very nice and accommodating but he was not a tour guide. He dropped us off at the attractions and waited for us to go see the site and return to the van. He did escort us through the old fish market. It worked for us but it might not be right if you want to have a guide for the entire trip.

Kenny was very accommodating to our travel wishes and made adjustments to where we wanted to go. He was polite and courteous. The only critique would be that it would be nice to have more history/local information or fun facts as we travel to different spots.

Deric our tour guide was wonderful, very professional and attentive to our needs all day. He recommended great locations to visit and also accommodated the locations we found and wanted to visit. Our day started out very well, we visited a market and a beautiful shrine. We went to the SkyTree and visited the Imperial Gardens.
Deric was a great tour guide, 5 stars!
We had a wonderful day in Tokoyo despite some car issues.

This is a great way to see Tokyo on your own terms. You have your own driver and you set your own schedule for the most part. Our driver was very nice but on the quiet side and didn’t give us much beyond basic info about each site we visited but we still covered a lot of ground for one day. He made sure to get pictures at all the good locations for us as well.

Aby our driver on a rainy day made our day so unforgettable. He was truly a joy to. Kind , on time, precise in details and suggestions to what we wanted to see. 9 hr private car we thought would be too long, he made the day fun and hrs just went by.. thank you. This was our first day in Tokyo, so we wanted to see all the top parts.
From booking, the company sent us clear communication. We had requested a car seat for our son, this was confirmed and provided.
The day before we were added to a Whats App group with our driver, who offered suggestions. Wendell was amazing!
Nothing was a problem, he was knowledgeable, drove safely, and funny!
He gave us facts about areas etx. He even found a ninja shop so our son could buy a ninja sword.
He was so helpful finding things for us!
We could not recommend this more!!!

This was great. Our tour guide unfortunately picked up another couple and had to bring them back and get us. LOL. We were picked up at the Yokohama port toured Tokyo and dropped at our Hotel Near the Narita airport. The tour was very good. We got a good overview of Tokyo. Even saw Fuji from the tower. He would take us anywhere we wanted. He was very helpful directing us. We found a good lunch place under the Kobe beef restaurant near the temple.

This tour is basically a private driver that will get you to sites and give you time to explore them on your own. No guiding or explanations of any site. If you want a personal driver to take you around this is for you.

We had an incredible tour with Utah and Asi as our driving guides - our customizable tour included two vehicles for our family of 10 ppl (ages 23-88) with two wheelchairs.
Both Asi and Utah shared history and fun facts as we traveled to Tsukiji, Asakusa and Skytree. Our drop off and pick up locations were safe and we appreciated the helpful tips about each destination as we arrived.
At the end of our tour it began to rain and we truly appreciated the safer, alternate route we were given to our hotel. We highly recommend that you consider this tour with either of these great driving guides, Asi or Utah.

We have a fabulous time with Yannick. He was professional, courteous, and showed up at our hotel about 10 minutes early to pick us up. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and answered all our questions. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. If you are looking for a one day immersive tour of Tokyo I would highly recommend this.

My wife and I booked the full-day private tour (by car) in Tokyo. It was our first day in the city, and we wanted to use the tour as a way of seeing many of the popular tourist sites, while also learning a bit about the city, the lay of the land, and maybe even some japanese customs/etiquette. If I'm being honest, we accomplished some of that, but not all of it, on this tour. Our tour guide Asi was very nice, a great driver, and was very flexible/patient with us. We started the day by telling him all of the things we wanted to do, and he quickly organized the day's itinerary while leaving room for improvising. His minivan was very luxurious, clean, and the AC worked great! That was super important in the summer. I will say, many people suggested we do a walking tour instead of by car, due mostly to the traffic in Tokyo. That really wasn't an issue for us, despite traveling all over the city; so we were very happy with the decision to have a car, as it provided a great reprieve from the blistering heat in between each site. And we did get to see everything we wanted to, which I don't think would've been possible if we were walking and using public transportation. So overall, it was a successful tour, but we do wish we had received a little more from Asi as a guide. He was very quiet when we were in the van, and it felt like it was on us to ask questions. Which in fairness, he always answered when we did. However, we didn't receive as much of the knowledge that we were looking for on the tour. He was more of a driver than a guide, and we just want to prepare you for that if Asi is your guide.

Our first goal is always to make sure our guests can travel smoothly and see as much as possible within their schedule. That said, we feel it’s important to clear up a point.
From Asi words, it seems you also joined a walking tour at Tsukiji Fish Market and are comparing the two. A walking tour naturally gives you more time to chat while moving around with the guide, but our service is a private car tour. The driver gives information and commentary while in the car, and guests explore each stop on their own. It’s simply a different style of touring.
Asi also mentioned that you were mainly focused on following your own itinerary, which is absolutely fine — but it may explain why your expectations of “guiding” didn’t match the way our service works.
We’re happy you could visit all the places you wanted in one day, and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Tokyo.
