When I registered for this activity I wasn’t certain that I would get to do what I hoped to do. Specifically, I wanted some insight into Japanese car culture. I hoped to go to the historic Daikoku car gathering in Yokohama (you need to arrive in a car) and to APIT Autobacs and perhaps Liberty Walk…not just some lame 5 persons in a car go cart drive around Tokyo!!! But I took the risk and signed up.
This turned out to be the PERFECT Japanese car experience. My guide was a true car enthusiast, very well informed and sophisticated, spoke perfect English, and picked me up in an impeccable 02 Nissan Sylvia GT-R modified to the specs of a car in TFAF movies. He and I spent 4 hours doing all the things I’d hoped to…and there were no other tourists in the car with us.
We drove out to Yokohama across the Rainbow Bridge and entered the epicenter of Tokyo car culture, Saturday night at Daikoku. There were hundreds of JDM cars to look at and talk about for hours

For me, it was a peak life experience!
We then wet to the flagship APIT AUTOBACS location an I got to wander and ship the myriad items they stock.
But the highlight for me was learning about and having explained to me the fundamental
history, stories and concepts of this unique car culture by someone who comes from it. So fascinating, so nuanced, and just what I had dreamed it would be.
I would place this at the very top of any planned tour experience I have ever done and cannot recommend T and his brother (in a 2013 Subaru WRX STI) highly enough. Don’t even think about signing up with any one else!!!

We were very unhappy with the experience, and I want to explain why in a fair way. Based on the price of nearly 400 USD, my daughter and I expected that we would have our own car. Instead, we ended up with five adults packed into a WRX, which made the experience uncomfortable and not at all what we thought we were paying for.
I want to be very clear that our driver was AWESOME. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. He is not the reason for this review. In fact, he made the best of a situation that was simply not what we expected.
The actual destinations were great. The car meet, the stop near Tokyo Tower, and the visit to A PIT were all highlights and would have been perfect if the experience matched the listing. My disappointment comes from the price and the lack of clarity. For this cost, I would have expected a private car. If the booking had clearly stated that the ride would be shared with other guests, I would have made different plans.
This tour has the potential to be fantastic, especially with drivers like ours who clearly love what they do. Clearer communication and accurate expectations would make all the difference.

Absolutely loved our outing even though it was a bit rainy that day. Tariq picked us up in a Subaru STI - super fun to cruise in. Lots of JDM cars at the meeting point and our guide was quick to point out the ‘must-see’. Quite an experience even for the novice. I’ll give double thumbs up for this excursion and our guide made it so much more special!! Thank you!!!

Osama made the whole JDM tour an amazing experience and kept everyone involved the whole time. I was a bit reluctant to do a shared tour at first, but it turned out way better than I expected. There were only three of us, and Osama made sure everyone got their time and took some really cool shots too 👍🏼. It’s hard to explain until you’re actually there living it.

This was an excellent 5 Star experience just like all the reviews stated. It was awesome to ride in a very nice sports car and all the stops was on point. This was definitely one of the highlights of our Japan vacation, and my family hasn't stopped talking about how exiting and fun it was. Excellent communication from before booking all the way until our initial meet up. Our driver (Osamu) spoke very good english, was very polite and knowledgeable on JDM cars. Finally, Osamu was an exceptional host as he shared a lot of information on the JDM scene and all the popular landmarks we drove by.

This was an excellent few hours! The tour is flexible, and will cater for those who love speed and those who… are like me. Usama was an awesome driver and even better company. It felt like I spent the morning with a friend. We saw very cool cars at Daikoku and it was also cool to have people taking photos of us as we drove. I loved it and would happily do it again.

Best night ever! We were collected by Tatsumichi in his Subaru Impreza STI and headed out to Daikoku parking lot. Here we saw a variety of JDM cars and soaked up the atmosphere at the car meet which was electric. We then headed back to town and experienced exactly what the Scooby was all about! We stopped off to take some photos for memories at some of Tokyo’s famous landmarks. Thanks Tasumichi you were epic. A must do when in Tokyo.

The host speaks really good english and he's just an all around great dude.
He noticed that I'm really into the whole culture and went the extra mile to show me some special places.
And to top it all off, he dropped us off at our AirBnB.

My girlfriends and I had an incredible time on the JDM Fast & Furious car tour in Daikoku. Our tour guide was amazing — he took us out on the Rainbow Bridge and really showed off his Subaru STi’s performance. It was thrilling to feel the power of the car while cruising with such an iconic view.
We got to see an incredible lineup of classic and modern Japanese cars — everything from a Trueno, RX-7, vintage and new GT-Rs, to colorful, eye-catching rides. It was like stepping into a real-life car enthusiast’s dream.
One of the highlights was visiting A-PIT, where we shopped for souvenirs and car parts. The place even had a cafe and a cool selection of Initial D merchandise — perfect for fans of the anime and car culture.
Driving around in these iconic cars made us feel so cool! We noticed people in Shinjuku and Shibuya pulling out their phones to snap pictures as we rolled by. It definitely felt like we were part of the scene.
If you want a genuine, immersive look at Japan’s car culture, I highly recommend booking a tour with these guys. We ended the night with an epic photo session at Tokyo Tower, posing in front of their sleek Silvia S13 — a perfect finish to an unforgettable day.

This is a must do for every JDM fan.
I booked the tour in the Veilside RX-7 but there was a little inconvenience mid ride, we got a flat tire but it turned out to be best outcome for me because I got to ride the WRX Sti and the S15 Monalisa too so I was lucky to experience 3 cars in one night.
The drivers were nice, friendly and very good drivers, the rides were very enjoyable.
Daikoku was amazing, the parking lot was FULL of so many different cars.
Absolutely flawless experience.
