I would recommend this tour to anyone. Vohra was a fantastic guide and made our day in Tokyo one to remember. The van was clean and comfortable for our group of five. We were in Tokyo to see the cherry blossoms, and Vohra did not disappoint. He tailored the itinerary to visit all the favorite sites and prioritized the best cherry blossom viewing. This tour allowed us to experience the most of this beautiful time of year in Japan. Thank you, Vohra, for making our day so memorable.

Tokyo Day Trip

This is a difficult review. The guide was extra in that the driver brought him along from a different company to communicate with us which he did well. The van was not appropriate for the 10 of us. It had a 3 ft crack on the driver side window, side curtains were torn, and most importantly no microphone to communicate with the group. The guide wore a mask and had to turn around and speak loudly for those in the back to hear him. In fairness he was great and took care of us at all times. I was also perplexed that he did not know the itinerary even though it was clearly communicated to us in the Viator app.

Driver not Guide

When I booked this, I specifically asked if this was a guide not just a driver. I do not need to spend this amount of money when I could've just had Ubers drop me off at various locations at one point in time, he wasn't even responding to me and I was standing there waiting for over half an hour before he noticed that I was requesting for another pick up. This was a complete waste of money in my one day in Tokyo and I learned nothing at one point I just hired a local guy to explain some things to me after I was dumped at a random site.

Making memories in Toyko

We had a wonderful, full day, tour of Toyko with our driver Mr. Kamal. He did a fantastic job of telling us about the places we visited. He helped to make this a wonderful experience. From the Imperial Palace (home of the emperor), Toyko Tower (we rode to the 1500M platform ), Shibuya Crossing (busiest street crossing in Tokyo with over 10k persons crossing every hour), Meiji Jinju Buddhist Temple (there are Omikuji where one could shake a box and receive a number corresponding to a box with a Waka poem composed by Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken whose spirits are enshrined here), to Senso-ji Temple, (the oldest temple in Tokyo), Mr. Kamal helped to make amazing memories of our time in Toyko. We ended our day with a stunning photo of Toyko at night. This was a wonderful way to spend our day in Tokyo. Thank you, Mr. Kamal, for helping us learn more about Toyko.

Our driver Hasan came on time . He always had a smile on his. Face. He spoke Japanese, Hindi and English. He helped push my husband in the wheelchair. Thanks for sending a caring and sympathetic person. The traffic in Tokyo was terrible but he did not loose his patience. The weather was terrible, extremely hot but he still helped us with my husband in wheelchair.

Going through Tokyo to the sites that we asked about. The shrine was nice. We didn’t go to two of the sites that we asked about due to time. We were driven to the Imperial Palace but it was closed.

Thanks for your feed back our driver is very professional and friendly he brings all the places mentioned in itineraries but the place you said was far from Tokyo and that place were closed if you arrive there that’s why our driver informed you. Imperial palace closed at 14:45. But you spend more time on other places that’s why some place closed

THIS IS NOT A TOUR! IS MORE LIKE A RENTAL CAR SERVICE!! We were so upset, because we wanted a tour of Tokyo, but we got something completely different. To start of the driver was new to Tokyo so didn’t know much, and he would just drop us off in places with no guidance or anything and then he would txt us for pick up, the description said 8-10hrs and the guy was in a hurry to drop us off exactly at 8hrs…. No flexibility nor accommodation I want my money back! Very bad service, this was so expensive and the quality was terrible, we could had done this on our own

This expensive tour was more like a taxi service from spot to spot. Driver, Aziz, was very polite and congenial. However he really didn’t prove much tour information. I think we would have had a much better experience on a hop on hop off tour. At a much lower cost.

Not a great experience

Unfortunately I think your experience with this tour will depend hugely on who you get. I booked based on a large number of positive reviews however our experience was not a positive one. We would have had the same if not better experience hopping into taxis to take us around. Our driver was late picking us up, there was some traffic’s incident and this was communicated to us however they then went to and waited at the wrong hotel so by the time we got going we were an hour behind. Virtually no information about the sights or history or anything. Dropped us at places without even telling us the name just that it was a temple. Took us to the fish market even though it was closed that day. Based on our experiences with guides on other tours our guide’s English wasn’t great and they did not seem to comfortable communicating with us, they were not Japanese either so I wonder what depth of guide knowledge they actually had. Very disappointing, this was an expensive tour.

Your better off getting a Taxi!

We gave our driver a list of places we wanted to see because we had already seen someplaces in Tokyo with another tour. He decided to take us to Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower and the Asakusa Shrine, that we had told him we had already explored. We asked him to take us too other locations that we hadn't seen yet. Akihabara and Nakano Sun Mall or Ueno Ameyokocho, but he said those were just streets with some stores on them. Really just some stores. So we asked him to take us back to some stores near the Hilton Tokyo Odaiba where we were staying. After a few times driving in circles which happened all during our tour, driving in a big circle when all he had to do was turn left is a waste of time. We had been in several cities and towns of Japan for 3 weeks the driving patterns were getting familiar. Your are better off hiring a taxi to take you to places, they can print off a receipt that has the company phone number to have a taxi pick you up and take you to your next location.

Great driver and experience

I took this trip not knowing what to expect. I was picked up by Waqar outside of my hotel where he had been 15 minutes early which was amazing. Waqar proceeded to drive me to the best places in Tokyo, he had an itinerary but if I had any place in my bucket list he was more than willing to re-route and take me there. Throughout the entire 10 hours he was very formal, knowledgeable, and made the day all that more interesting. I never felt rushed unlike timed tours and no matter what, regardless of how long I would spend im each site he would be right around the corner as soon as I called saying I was ready to move on to the next site. Highly recommended tour and driver.
