Initially we were very disappointed as we requested an english speaking guide who would tell us alot about Tokyo as we travelled around. Our guide knew very little English and communicated via google translating....very time consuming and actually not very safe when he was doing this while driving. However, as the day went on, he did show us all the sights we wanted to see and tried very hard to communicate information...not the same as having fluent conversations , though. He was eager to take our pictures when needed. In future, I'm not sure how we could have made it more plain that we were English and wished an English guide. I gave the rating a 4 , as the sights were good and he was trying...otherwise, I would have rated it lower as we did not receive what we requested.

The driver spoke zero English and there was NO tour. He was simply a driver. He could only communicate through a text translation app. He took us to the two places that we texted him in advance where we wanted to go. He didn’t show us around or explain anything when we got there. He could not even communicate when to get out of the car or where to meet him. We were left on our own to see the sites and had no idea where to go. I paid for a tour with an English speaking guide. I want a full refund. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM - SAVE YOUR MONEY.

As described in the service details, this tour includes assistance through a voice guide supported by a translation app, and does not feature an English-speaking guide. While I am not fluent in English, I utilized the translation app to communicate with you and customize the tour based on your preferences. During the tour, I observed that you and your partner appeared to enjoy the experience, and I was under the impression that you were satisfied. I was surprised to read this review, as I recall receiving several “thank you” messages during the trip. If my efforts to guide and assist you were insufficient, I deeply apologize. Additionally, it was disappointing to notice that food waste from items purchased during the tour was left behind without notification. While I always strive to provide excellent service, I believe that mutual respect plays a key role in ensuring a positive experience for all parties. It was a good tour with a nice accommodating guide, who went out of his way to look after us. However, he didn’t really speak any English so Google translate was used but just doesn’t make up for proper interaction.
