- Please arrive 15 MIN BEFORE the booking time.ALCOHOL consumption before the tour is prohibited, so please be responsible.PLEASE DO NOT WEAR the long skirts, high heel shoes or sandals.
- You MUST have an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention and driving license from your country of origin and passport. EXCEPT for participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco. In which case you will need a Japanese translation of your license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF/Online Application for Japanese Translation) and your own driving license. IDPs MUST be in booklet form, not in paper or A4 form.
- Please note that International Driving Permits MUST be issued by your countries approved issuer. Some common examples are; Australia – AAA . USA – AAA or AATA. UK – AA or RAC. Canada – CAA
- International driving permits that are issued under the Vienna Convention 1968 are NOT accepted in Japan.
- Our cancellation policy is below;
- Cancel up to 24 hours before the tour start time for a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour start time the paid amount will not be refunded.
- If your tour is canceled due to bad weather, you will be eligible for a full refund. Or you have the opportunity to reschedule depending on availability.
- Due to the nature of operating mechanical parts, when we reach the maximum capacity of booking we may need to amend or adjust bookings depending on kart availability.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have the correct/valid documents for driving in Japan, failure to do so will result in denial of participation without the possibility of a refund. If you are not sure, please reach out to us directly and we can help to check if you have valid documents.

We had an absolute blast hurtling through the streets of Tokyo. Don't think just go do it.
There was a great emphasis on safety but not to much that it was a hinder our enjoyment and at no time was I nervous, even when my cart stalled at one set of lights.
I cannot recommend Japan cart highly enough. It's was a great experience, looking like a cartoon character driving through this busy busy metropolis what's not to love.

Safe and fun ride, with proper instructions at the start, one person riding in the front of the group and one at the end. It was the highlight of the day for my sons!
Plus they took lots of photos and gave us photos in the end.

A great, fun activity which would definitely not be legal in the UK!!!! You get to drive the streets of Tokyo in a go kart, escorted by Japan Kart staff to keep things safe. It’s not an opportunity for sightseeing as you need to focus on what you’re doing. You also don’t get a running commentary to tell you where you are. Photos and complementary snacks are a nice touch. Staff were accommodating, friendly and welcoming.

Just a whole lot of fun. Staff were great and took heaps of photos along the way, then shared them with us at the end. The karts were well maintained and instructions were clear so felt very safe. We had a lead and trailing vehicle so were well looked after on the road.

This was a very fun experience! Yes it’s a go cart so you aren’t able to go that fast but you get to wear costumes!! I would’ve taken the longer tour if it wasn’t already booked up.

The worst experience in Tokyo stay away from this place don’t ruin your trip like we did.
2 uber driver could not find this place finally a taxi driver was able to locate but got there 15 min. Very rude employee

What an amazing experience I had riding through parts of Tokyo especially since it’s my very first time in Japan. It felt good being famous for short period of time as bystanders and onlookers whether it was locals or tourists, they were waving at us taking out their phones and taking photos of us. Riding through the busy part of Shibuya. Our tour guides go in two vans; one in the front and another in the back of the line. They have you covered in case you get separated from the group. Overall, it was an awesome and fun experience. I highly recommend doing this.

Safety was the main concern. At first we were not sure how this would turn out but after 5-10 minutes on the road it was easy and fun! The team was very informative and ensured the group was safe. There’s a pilot car in front and back so you are totally safe to enjoy!

You actually drive for over an hour. They also enhance the experience with lots of photos of each individual, the group you are with as well as the whole group.
The instructions were very thorough. I felt safe the whole time we were on the road.

Amazing experience, as you get to see all the sights up close and personal. (Top tip - wear a mask as you inhale a lot of fumes especially being so low down in the kart). Otherwise it is an enjoyable experience.

Amazing! Be ready for an adrenaline rush. Little on the edge at the same time. You arebin the streets of Yokyo with the traffic. Didn't take long to get over that little on the edge feeling. You have not lived your best life until you drive 40 in a go cart through the busy streets of Tokyo. Would do it 10000% again! Thinking about seeing if we can squeeze 1 more time in.
