Was really disappointed with the tour. They said this tour was customizable and when I booked it, asked if I could get picked up at 9 instead of 7. They said yes. The driver the night prior text me that he wanted to leave at 6am, I said no. We settled on 7:30am. Mind you, I am within the pick up area of the tour. Driver arrives and we talk about what I really wanted to see. Driver tells me we will be on the road for 5 hours, it's a 2.5 hour commute each way. I tell him again, as I told him the night before, I don't mind skipping some things to make sure i see others. I told him I don't care about seeing the Gotemba outlets. Tour started off okay. We figure out what we want to see and he takes us to the first stop. So mind you there are 7 stops, and then we get to our next one. Great on the 2nd stop. Driver tells us that to go to the pagoda, it will take nearly 2 hours because to get to the top and back, it's a lot of steps and discouraged us from going, even though it was the main thing I wanted to see. The clouds were too thick, so you couldn't see Mt Fuji, at least not the top. So I'm not sure why he took us to the lake when we couldn't see anything. I think he needed a break because he was really surprised that we didn't want to stay. We then had to plan lunch, so he did tell us about a great place to eat. He tells us that we need to get to Gotemba by noon to get back to the hotel in time. But at this point, we've barely have seen 3 stops. Lunch was great but then we went to the outlets. Which was not worth my time, I wasn;t there to shop. So I was really surprised when he started to take us back at 2pm. So the ride back was supposed to be 2.5 hours, it took 1.5 because he drive like a race car driver and almost hit about 15 cars on the way back. He was flying through the streets of Tokyo and it was like he just wanted to get rid of us. He had no interest if we really had a good tour. Never asked or provided us with water. So what's crazy is that we got back to the hotel in 1.5 hours, an entire hour and a half early. Not only that, he didn't even drop us off at our hotel, and asked if he could drop us off across the street which was super lazy. I always have every intention of tipping my driver but he was a really bad driver and worst tour driver. We could've easily skipped the mall and went to the pagoda in the time we had left. And again, only saw 4 of the 7 sites. Was very disappointed by it all, especially because we paid $650 for an unforgettable tour. We did see some nice sites but I think the driver was too tired or didn't want to work that day. Not worth it, maybe if you have a Japanese tour guide that was more proud to show of the heritage and sites.

The sites were amazing but I wouldn’t call this a tour. Our driver didn’t provide any further insight or commentary other than what was included in the brief itinerary.
Our driver took us to the Hakone Ropeway which added another hour to the trip and it was average at best.

Overpriced, nothing other than a driver, almost zero information about what we were visiting. Also, the driving and the car were not great. The car was a 10-15 year old mid-sized Honda van, not the large white SUV in the driver’s WhatsApp image. Even though we were late back due to Sunday afternoon return to Tokyo traffic (which bizarrely the driver seemed surprised by), he drove at 38 MPH down a major freeway, with even trucks passing us.

Shan was a great tour guide! He tailored the experience to our interests. He was extremely kind and knowledgeable. He pointed out areas of interest and provided the history. Mt Fuji was breathtaking. Totally worth this excursion!

I chose this as the best way to see Mount Fuji from the best viewpoints, without having to do the research on where they are, or how to get to them. I am basically the laziest of travelers who is only interested in the easy part where I pose for pictures with this famous landmark, and want to leave the driving, navigating traffic, parking, researching restaurants etc to someone else. For that purpose, this guided tour was perfect! Car was clean and comfortable. Guide was on time, knowledgeable, polite, professional and flexible. 5 stars!

Our tour to the mt. Fuji area had its challenges, mainly due to the weekend traffic. However, Sandhu , our driver and guide, helped us choose the best places to visit and we still ended up with great memories of this beautiful area. Highly recommended, just not on the weekend.

Our tour was excellent. The tour guide showed us around all of the areas we visited and we had time at each spot to explore.

Great to see Fuji and go to the 5th station. And while our driver David did get us from our hotel to the mountain, he was clearly inexperienced and lacked the interpersonal skills that most drivers/guides I’ve personally experienced in the past possessed. From his incessant complaints about his domestic situation to his choice of lunch destination (cheap and low quality spot)– he lacks the professionalism and competence of a true professional tour driver. I chose this tour, which cost a little more than many others, thinking it would be of higher quality or comfort, but that certainly was not the case. Average at best, and at times bizarre.

Views of Mt. Fuji from the Pagoda and visiting one of the Temples off the beaten path and not on the your itinerary. That made up for the closure of the 5th Station at Mt. Fuji. David was very personable and accommodating.

His superb driving skills made the trip worry free as we were stressed just researching how to travel to all of the sites.

This tour is the best way to see Mt. Fuji and the surrounding areas at your own pace and with flexibility. Our driver, Shaan, was very accommodating with my wishes. We skipped one shrine to spend more time at another stop. We took time out for a leisure lunch, dropping more stops. The driver spoke very good English, and we chatted throughout the drive; he joined us for lunch. It was an enjoyable day. It would have felt rushed if we stayed to the original itinerary. I gave it four stars instead of five because less than 24 hours before the tour, I received a text confirming our tour and driver information. A few minutes later, I received a text saying he wasn't available. At that point, I thought they would have to cancel the tour. Luckily, Shaan was available. Shaan doesn't usually do the Mt. Fuji tours; he does the Kyoto-Osaka tours, but what he lacked in information, he made up in flexibility, professionalism, and likability. I would use this company again if doing a day tour.

Irfan was our driver for the day and he was amazing! He changed up our itinerary to make sure we got great shots of Fujisan before the cloud rolled in. We also were so appreciative of his knowledge and his photography skills. He was accomodating but also gave us some good freedom to explore! What a great time!

Great trip! Excellent communication from our provider and our driver, Irfan. He also acted as a guide providing some info about each stop and climbed the 400 steps at the temple with us. We were able to modify some of our stops to better fit our schedule. I was a bit apprehensive due to various reviews on a variety of tour providers. This company has great reviews and I see why. No problems with booking, communication, arrival, driving, or any other area where we saw complaints with other companies. Driver did a great job of offering to take pics for us and posing us with the best view of the sight in the background. The weather did not cooperate and we could not see the top of Mt Fuji as well as some rain in the afternoon. Traffic on the way back to Tokyo was terrible due to an earlier crash. Neither of these issues were the responsibility of the tour company! If we have friends visiting Tokyo, we will definitely recommend this company!
