Definitely not worth the money the tour guide also said a couple things that I felt were offensive and she was not welcoming it appeared as if she was discriminating me I said appeared not that she was but that’s how it felt as a black women but that was my experience different for others but definitely try something else

Thank you for your feedback.
I was honestly surprised to read your comments, as there was nothing during the experience that suggested any form of discrimination or unwelcoming behavior from my side.
I treat all guests with equal respect and care, and I make a conscious effort to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere for everyone.
It’s unclear to me what part of the experience led to this impression, and I regret that you felt this way.
While I understand that everyone has different sensitivities and perspectives, I must clarify that there was absolutely no intention, in words or action, to offend or exclude anyone.
Many other guests have found the tour meaningful and respectful, and I will continue to uphold that standard for all participants.

I absolutely loved this experience! Ms. Sayoko made the whole process so smooth and enjoyable. I also booked a hair and make up and the hair stylist-make up artist did a wonderful job making me look great! Highly recommend the make up and hair for those who don't really know how to do it like myself. The pictures look so beautiful. Ms. Sayoko also gave a tour of the shrine that also served as the photoshoot background. The kimono+accessories Ms. Sayoko provided were really beautiful and she dressed me so nicely. I can't recommend this activity enough! I would love to come back to do this for cherry blossom season!

Wonderful way to remember your time in Tokyo! We have SO MANY beautiful pictures thanks to our perfect guide. The tour is well planned, and our guide very efficiently walked us to a nearby shrine to capture photos of my family and me in traditional Japanese garb. (You choose from a variety of beautiful fabrics in advance). Because the kimonos and the shrine are already so beautiful, the standard option of being photographed with a cell phone worked for us. We’re so glad we did this!

This was a great experience for my first time in Tokyo. We booked it somewhat last minute and Sayoko was flexible and clearly communicated. We ended up adding on the tea ceremony which was also very interesting to be a part of and witness. They were all kind, welcoming and it was such a pleasure to meet and be in the home. I would highly recommend this experience!

I LOVED IT ♥️
Thank goodness you Sayoko for making my first trip to Japan + incroyable memories for my birthday. She’s an amazing person! I recommend this activity to everyone. She’s really taking care of you , giving you a lot of information, and describing traditional Japanese culture. No doubt you’ll enjoy your experience and you’ll have beautiful pictures!

Fabulous experience. Very down to earth and personal and we really enjoyed learning about the history and culture as we took photos and walked around.

My mom and I had a wonderful time with this experience. Despite the rain, we had fun with the photoshoot and we learned a lot about Japanese culture. Sayoko was very nice and pleasant to talk to. She took really good care of me and my mom and she made our first kimono experience enjoyable and unforgettable. I will definitely recommend this to my family and friends. Thanks, again, Sayoko!

The rain was the only part that was unpleasent in the activity. Everything else was excellent and Sayoko was really the best. Communication was smooth and clear, she provided all the information we needed and even picked us up from the hair salon. She helped us chose the best kimono and then helped us get dressed up in her place. She took us on a lovely walk to a nearby shrine for some awesome pictures (photographer included as part of our package). Sayoko always helped us all the way holding umbrellas and giving suggestions for the photo shoot. My wife got stopped on the street a couple of times as other tourists wanted to take photos with her. That was all credit to Sayoko.
Overall we enjoyed this activity very much, thank you Sayoko! Recommended without any hesitation!

Sayoko tended to me with much detail from the time I purchased this experience until even after I have the experience. I’m so grateful for her follow up and detailed directions if you are a solo traveler, I definitely would recommend any experience you can sign up for with Sayoko.

This was a well-organized kimono experience and the tour operator offers the option of getting your hair and makeup done, as well as a photographer to capture memories of your experience. This was the selling point for me as a lot of other places only let you rent a kimono and walk around in it for a day. Unfortunately it rained during my whole tour but it was still enjoyable and I had nice photos anyway. Some things to note are that you will have to choose the kimono online ahead of time, so please be aware of that, but there are many to choose from. A lot of similar tour operators have their locations in Asakusa, so it was nice to do this in a different location.

This was a wonderful experience for my daughter and myself. Sayoko was extremely helpful and made our kimono experience so special. She communicated with us and walked us through the process. She carefully dressed us and made us feel special as she educated us on how to worship in the shrine. She took lots of amazing pictures which I shared and got so many compliments on. As we walked through the streets the people were so kind and complimented us. I highly recommend this experience especially with a mother daughter experience. As a side note we did do the extra make up through this booking it was a salon, it was more of a Geisha makeup it is a whiter face style so this may be something to consider prior to booking.

Very lovely experience and nice pictures. I was surprised by the friendly people who called me beautiful as I walked by.

The lady was brilliant, from first contact via whats app to decide colour, size and accessories to combine with colours. Sayoko was so wonderful with us polite, helpful with our questions and also, made us feel special for the afternoon. Also a wonderful sense of humour making us feel so relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble with her. Also her friend made us feel very welcome as well when we arrived early. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting a great time with fun but also a great experience. Thank you Soyoko so much for making this last day in Tokyo the most memorable day of our trip to Japan. I cannot express how my wife and I felt during this wonderful afternoon. Thank you so much.

It was a very nice and unique experience wearing a kimono for the first time and learning about the culture. Photos were great too 😊

Amazing, she’s really nice and take care of us the whole time. Got so many compliments from the elders walking in the street. Book book book

It was a lovely experience. Spent the day with my daughter learning about the kimono. We didn’t anticipate a 10 minute walk in wooden sandals through the streets. But we made it to the shrine for photos.
The only thing that would have made it better would to have not been caught in bad weather on the way back to the shop.

Sayoko-San was the best!
She has everything prepared for us.
We had so much fun dressing up in our Kimonos and taking pictures on the wonderful grounds at the New Otani Hotel.
Thank you Sayoko-San for a terrific experience. Love our photos too.

I spent yesterday learning how to properly wear, walk, and sit in a Japanese Kimono. This included training on the holding of the silk purse and silk umbrella for an upcoming wedding.
I only scratched the surface of this remarkable Japanese clothing culture. The kimono is a symbol of longevity and good fortune. Specific motifs were used to indicate virtues or attributes of the wearer, or relate to the season or occasion such as weddings and festivals where it bestows good fortune on the wearer. I felt very lucky all put together properly in my kimono.

Thank you for joining me on my kimono tour❣️
I was very happy to see that you eagerly learned how to behave in kimono👘
A kimono can make you beautiful just by wearing it, but it can also make you look more beautiful with small gestures and manners.
I do not just rent kimonos to guests and let them put them on and be done with it, I do this tour so that I can spend time with them afterwards and be learnd about kimonos in a fun way!
I will continue to do my best so that more guests can enjoy the Japanese kimono culture 😊
