The duration of stay in The Gotemba Premium Outlet may be shortened due to traffic conditions
Due to the weather, traffic conditions, or suspension of operation, operator may have a possibility not to achieve all the activities. The tour will be attending to alternative place or giving out a gift as a compensation depending on a situation at that time. The suspension of both the pirate ship and the ropeway will result in the offering of gift certificates worth 2,000 yen per person. Refunds will not be given for these changes
If the schedule is delayed by more than an hour due to traffic congestion, the Gotemba Outlet may be cut off.
Please note that if you do not return to the tourist spot on time, the bus will depart without waiting, as it will be considered an abandonment.

i had missed my original scheduled trip and contacted Viator. They were responsive, flexible and competent. I received a replacement trip two days later and Yasu-san and Yamada-san (guide and driver) were glad to see and receive me. Yasu-san was a competent guide delivering discipline, knowledge and good humour simultaneously. Yamada-san drove smoothly and beautifully. The weather held. The schedule was well-paced. All in, a great day was had by all. Would I sign up again? Of course! Keep up the good work and keep on trekkin'.

This was a fantastic day out!! Communication in advance was excellent; a day change was easily accomplished. The meeting at the bus in the morning was effortless. Our tour guide, Rena, was first class; her English was great, she was enthusiastic and always full of energy and useful information. She was even thoughtful enough to warn the group that motor vehicles come from a different direction than many of us are used to. The bus driver was extremely safe and the ride was first class. The day’s activities were extremely well managed. The one-way boat trip and one-way cable car (rope) trip were such a good idea, with the bus meeting us at both destinations. We were blessed with wonderful weather and great views. This day trip was well worth the very reasonable expense and I would highly recommend it for international visitors to Tokyo.

Cloudy day so didn’t see Mt Fuji in all her glory but can’t help the weather unfortunately. We also didn’t do the ropeway or pirate ship as “too windy” which were the reasons why we chose this tour option. Tour guide was ok nice enough and good English. Basically the trip ended up being a bus ride to souvenir and outlet shops - we did get a voucher though! A bit disappointing and would have been nice to get a heads up re the weather and possibility of not seeing Mt Fuji and option to reschedule due to weather. Would be a great tour if conditions were perfect I guess!

The sights visited and activities included where all good, however the guide’s English was poor and he gave very little to no information/explanations. Also the sound system on the coach was not working properly so what little information he gave could not be heard! The lunch boxes had not been refrigerated so were warm and the food was starting to sweat so we felt it was safest to not eat it, which resulted in us having to spend all our time at the outlet mall getting lunch - which actually was delicious, would recommend the Italian there!

Rushed but lucky Mt Fuji.

While we were extremely lucky to have good weather and were able to see Mt Fuji clearly… we were only given 45 minutes on site; after that we went to a shopping outlet and there we had 90 minutes… why? We could’ve skipped the mall in my opinion. The whole trip felt rushed and the lines on the sites are long and hectic so be patient. Overall tour guides were professional.

The guide was very personable and friendly. He gave us a lot of information during the driving portions of the tour. It was truly a beautiful ride into the mountains. Unfortunately it started to rain once we go to Mt. Fuji. I was able to capture a few quick shots before there was a total overcast. We had about a solid hour at the outlets and it truly was not enough. My family called me the drill sergeant because I was rushing in and out of the stores. There is over 200 stores and the property is huge! So definitely prepare to highlight the stores you truly intend to shop in. The the rope cars provided great views of the mountain and surrounding areas. The cruise ride was nice but had no amenities such as a bar or snack area. Overall my group of 14 enjoyed the day trip.

The Mt. Fuji tour The guide gave us a lot of unnecessary information unrelated to the tour. It would have been helpful if you informed us of when to get our camera ready since the bus never stopped. I've used this company many times and many countries, but this was the worst.
