Making the chopsticks was a blast. Minju was helping us and she gave us great detailed instructions and helped with any difficulties. She had a lot of info on the types of woods we could choose and suggestions for the engraving. A great experience for families; i would definitely recommend to everyone.

Koji was our instructor and he was great! We really enjoyed this hands on activity in Shinjuku and it is cool to come back with a souvenir. The location was clean and the instructors were very nice. A great hour spent in Tokyo at a very nice shop!

This was a quick but fun experience with a great keepsake souvenir! Be aware that two types of wood are included but the more premium can run several thousand yen. The engraving is also a separate cost, but worth it in my opinion. Thank you, Mimi, for your help and your friendly attitude while we were making our chopsticks! We had a great time!

Great experience. Our guide, Natsume, was fantastic and very friendly. The instructions to shape the chopsticks was clear and easy to follow. Studio was clean and tidy. I would absolutely recommend / go back to do their other workshops as well.

It was a great family activity. My children are teens and young adult. They enjoyed comparing our finished chopsticks. Most of us used the wood already included in the pricing. One daughter enjoyed her upgraded darker wood and custom engraving. The staff was very patient and friendly!!

My family had a great time at this workshop. Yuki was very helpful and both my 7yo and 11yo enjoyed the activity. It took us longer than an hour but they stayed engaged the whole time and it gave us time to talk with Yuki about Japan.

Apologies for the cursing that’s about to occur fr but this shi was fun asf, we had Momo which if you ain’t know she’s the goat! Fr put on us on places to eat and was just a vibe to overall, w hostess and instructor on the process of making our own chopsticks. Very sure all the hostess are also goats in there own aspect but Momo was THE goat like Wembanyama game 7 goat level status. But no on a real note great experience highly recommend coming here if you can and have the time it’s around a hour experience and you’ll leave with a nice souvenir.

This is a really fun activity. We were treated well, took neat pictures, and left with beautiful souvenirs. (There are several colors and types of wood to choose from for your chopsticks. I chose Sakura, which was very easy to work with. Others in our party chose harder woods and struggled. If you don't have experience with wood, do stick with a softer option.)
