This was such a special experience!!! Aki was an amazing teacher and truly brought out my creativity!! I loved my arrangements so much I purchased the vases and was able to successfully transport them back to our Airbnb to enjoy for the remainder of our time here! By far the most favorite thing I’ve done on the trip!

Aki was so wonderful and very insightful in guiding us in the flower arrangements. Explaining different type of flower, history about the Ikebana and how to use it. It was such a blast and fun experience.

Ikebana experience in Tokyo

Located in a beautiful Tokyo florist , hanadouraku, surrounded by gorgeous blooms and foliage. We experienced a relaxed and welcoming environment to learn about and practice Ikebana. Our instructor Aki was very helpful and encouraged us to connect with each bloom we used in our designs.

This was the first activity I had organised when I arrived in Japan and it was such a lovely way to start off my trip. I was the only one in my workshop so I had lots of time to create an arrangement and enjoy being in a nice flower shop learning new things. Ruby was a fantastic host, very friendly and interesting to talk with. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun, creative, relaxing or unique activity in Tokyo 🌸

Ruby was an absolute delight. A very accomplished and educated florist. Class was fun, amusing and engaging. Incredible collection of flowers and other materials to chose from and plenty of coaching if you want it. Otherwise just find your inner floral arranger and you may be surprised.

It was the first time that I attended an Ikebana workshop and it turned out to be a great introduction! Ruby was an amazing instructor and helped me with creating my own arrangement! Her genuine passion for Ikebana was evident in every aspect of the workshop. I definitely recommend booking this workshop if you are looking for a cute studio in Tokyo for a first introduction!
