Was a great and fun experience! Enjoyed learning the basics of Ikebana with our kind and engaging teachers!

This was a lovely experience. Very peaceful and focused with just my partner and I and the instructors. The teaching space is above a cut cafe in a lovely area of town that's great to walk about in before and after. They give you some history of Ikebana before diving into hands on learning. The instructors were very kind and personable. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time. Great neighborhood. Went for lunch before. Easy to find. Hosts were wonderful women. The Ikebana instructor was very knowledgeable and informative without stopping creativity. The translator was also very warm and kind. My husband and I are creative types and like authentic experiences when traveling. This checked all the boxes. Make this part of your Tokyo experience.

Such an amazing time! We learned a lot and met great people — our instructor & our translator were so fun and charming, they made this an experience we will never forget. I loved getting to meet the flower-shop owner too, picking our flowers, and making such unique arrangements. I was so taken with the whole thing, I bought a kenzan to keep making arrangements at home!

This was a very nice and almost private lesson in how to make flower arrangements by two wonderful ladies. They were super nice and very skilled in what they are doing. I’m not sure if this was a coincidence but we were the only people who attended this class. That made it very special as all the attention was devoted just for us. At the end my wife and I made two beautiful ikebana arrangements. Don’t be afraid if you’ve never done that before. The instructors will be very helpful and understanding and will explain all the details in English.
PS. Expect to bring some cash (around 1000 yen per person) extra that will be needed to buy flowers. Those were not included.

My teen daughter and I loved it – they provided fabulous instruction and a connection to the culture.

The couple doing the class were extremely nice, informative and pleasant to be around. The husband spoke English very well and the wife who did the Ikebana stuff was very good. It was very hot and humid that day but inside was fairly cool. My only problem was I scheduled another event too close to this one so I had to leave about an hour early ... so we didn't get to buy/pick out flowers and arrange them. Very interesting workshop.

They were so well prepared for me. The translation was excellent. I came away feeling excited and equipped to try some ikebana at home.

Thank you for your comments, please enjoy your flower arrangement, and please add the IKEBANA idea. If you may, please send us your photos.
We are looking forward to seeing you in our town again or in the SNS.

This Ikebana class gave us more than we expected. The teacher was very respectable and took the time to dress in a kimono. The most important things that we learned was, we learned a little more about life. Thank you. Charles

Your comment excited us and made us very happy. It was a great honor for the teachers and staff to be able to talk through Ikebana. Hope to see you again on your island or ours.
