What To Expect
Make your way to Sea Ranch Marina 15 minutes prior to departure, then find a comfortable bench seat on board the wildlife-watching vessel. Youâre welcome to bring food and drink to enjoy during the trip, or simply sit back and take in the view. The dolphin cruise passes some of South Padre Islandâs most scenic stretches of shoreline.
The crew will cast a wildlife-safe net throughout the trip, bringing up sea life so you can see it up close. They frequently catch sea horses, starfish, and sea slugs. Atlantic bottlenose dolphins live in groups, so if you spot one in the water, keep your eyes peeled for its âpodâ, which usually consists of 10 to 30 members. After 1.5 hours on the water, the dolphin boat will return to shore, where this tour concludes.

It was the best part of our whole trip .
The crew was great . Dolphins was really close to boat playing with us . The part with other sea life was also great . I highly recommend the tour . Especially with kids . Price was very reasonable. Wish I would have had more cash to give the crew for a tip .

The trip was amazing! We took our grandson. We really enjoyed it! Saw lots of dolphins. I took a little fall and the crew and captain were great! I highly recommend this experience. You won't be disappointed. Oh and did I mention its very educational! Amazing time.

Our tour was pretty amazing!!! Weâre we sat, the dolphins swam right next to us! Their little pod had two babies. It was pretty incredible.

Saw about 12 dolphins! Well worth $19! The nets caught 4-5 different types of aquatic life! I would highly recommend this dolphin cruise!

It was fun, the captain and crew were very informative and cooperative. My kid enjoyed a lot an Eco session was very detailed and they let my son to touch fishes and stars fish. Dolphin views are awesome they responded us thatâs was fun.

Every year we take this same tour, now that should say something! This tour, along with the company who runs it, is top notch F-U-N & fabulous! The crew is knowledgeable about the marine life, friendly and caring. They make sure every member of the tour gets to see (and maybe touch) the findings dredged up from the depths! It's a marine learning class with hands on involvement! Perfect for ALL AGES! Do NOT wait, BUY your tickets early, this tour is VERY POPULAR and sells out quick! We've learned this from experience!

Everyone on the crew was knowledgeable about the Marine life. Kids loved holding the fish we caught in the net. Dolphins were amazing swimming next to our boat.

We attended the 10:30 experience and it was awesome! Lots of information given along the ride. The children had a fabulous time but Iâd recommend bringing some snacks and definitely water.

The dolphin excursion was the best weâve ever been on before. We saw many dolphins. The children so enjoyed seeing the dolphins jumping in and out of the ocean. The boat crew did a drag with their fishing gear and pulled up different fish, baby stingray, and starfish. The children loved it. They were able to touch and hold most of these. They were super impressed with the crew guideâs explanation of the sea life. Great dolphin excursion and the captain gave great knowledge of the ocean bay and its surroundings.

Along with the beautiful boat ride, we also got some education in. The captain & crew educated us on what an ego tour entails. We got to see several dolphins & learned some interesting insights about them. Overall it was a great boat trip.
