The van ride to Tybee Island was comfortable and our guide gave us information about Savannah and the area the entire trip. Fort Pulaski and the Lighthouse are well worth seeing and ending up at the Pier made for an end to a perfect day.

Great personal door to door service. We were picked up directly from our hotel which was so nice and convenient. Chris took us to the Lighthouse, Fort Pulaski and then to Tybee Island where we had lunch and walked around and shopped a bit. Would highly recommend this tour group.

Great Tour

This was basically a $100, per person, Uber ride. We were driven to the island and dropped off. We could have done the same thing by ordering an Uber and splitting that cost.

Bus tour to tybee

Over all this was very good the guy Chris was very knowledgeable and accommodating bottom line for the cost this 5 hour trip could not have been done any other way to go to the fort lighthouse and tybee beach would have been a great hassle to get there park and receive the information it was a really cold day the bus mostly took you there left and came back the pier at the island was closed so could not get near the water however wind and cold made that not comfortable I would do this again if I came back but remember my reasoning you would have experienced greater expense to do it on your own on busy season especially true

Our guide (Chris) was right on time and very knowledgeable about the places we were going to and the area in general. Fort Pulaski was great! I wish we could have spent another hour or so there. The lighthouse was also very good. We climbed to the top and looked at the ocean views. Our guide then suggested the lighthouse museum. He said for us to take our time and enjoy it. We did! It was very interesting and wasn't part of the tour. We were the only guests signed up so Chris was giving us a little leeway. Tybee Island was interesting, too. Lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. The pier was nice and the beach pretty empty but for a woman with a metal detector. I would recommend this tour.

Comfy & informative tour of Tybee Island & Historic Sites

Chris is a very good tour guide who knows Savannah & Tybee Island well! We ended up being the only people on the tour which could be awkward but Chris made it very a very comfortable and friendly experience in his Suburban!! If you don’t want to drive yourself to the Island and historic places, going with Chris is the way to go!

This is a great way to see Fort Pulaski and Tybee Island. We were able to tour the fort, enjoy time on the beach, climb the lighthouse, and grab some lunch.

Inappropriate transport

Fort Pulaski and Tybee Lighthouse were educational and inspiring. We had a fine time together. Unfortunately we did not get to choose our driver. He started right in with left wing politics couching his verbiage as “educating”. He rudely shared his disgust ad nauseum with three major Republicans without a modicum of care that anyone of his passengers might not only share his blather but also were on vacation and wanted to relax! not be lectured to by a driver in a moving vehicle! Unacceptable behaviour by a tour guide. We enjoyed the tours at the sites but felt frustrated by the employee’s political diatribe.

Chris was great! He shared tidbits about the area on our drive to and from Tybee island. He was always right on time picking us up from our stops. I wish we would have skipped the lighthouse and stayed longer at Fort Pulaski.

Chris gave us a very entertaining narration during the entire trip. He's very knowledgeable about the history of the area and new many places of interest. He and was very punctual and gave a great recommendation for lunch.

Excellent short trip to the coast

Chris was outstanding! Great guide, great guy. We loved getting out of the city and getting some fresh salt air. It was a little cold and windy but we still had a great time.

Touring Tybee (with turtles!)

It's the off-season, and it's been unusually cold, so it was really worried that I would be the only person on the tour so it would get canceled. I was the only person on the tour, but Chris ran the tour anyway, and I'm so glad he did! Chris is also very personable guide; he shared lots of information about the area, and we chatted the entire time we were traveling between destinations. Fort Pulaski was fascinating (I say this as someone who loves history, but is not always the biggest fan of military history). Unfortunately, the lighthouse was closed for repairs (probably too foggy that day to see much anyway), but Chris pivoted and offered to take me to the Marine Science Center instead--so many baby sea/marsh turtles! The beach is also gorgeous, and I loved having a few hours just to walk and chillax. It was my favorite day of my trip to Savannah.

Circumstances prevailed that Linda and myself had Dave all to ourselves for the entire day! in a very comfortable vehicle. He was very informative, personable and thoughtful. Chris was great in extending to us pick up at our hotel.

Good adventure but ad miss leading

The trip was overall great but if we didn’t call the Tybee bus company directly we wouldn’t been picked up. We were told by them that they pick you up at your personal location and Viator advertised that the fort Pulaski and tybee lighthouse was included which it wasn’t. The tybee lighthouse staff never heard of Viator. So the ad is miss leading. I would contact tybee bus tour directly. Fortunately they let us do both the Fort and the lighthouse.
