Emma was very knowledgeable and was able to navigate the large crowds and highlight thr key things in the Vatican museums, st peters and the sistine chapel. A lot of ground to cover in a short amount of time and she did a nice job guiding us.

Excellent tour. Kate was an outstanding guide. Lots of walking and stairs, so keep in mind if any mobility issues. Just enough time spent in Vatican museums and St Peter’s Basilica. Beautiful and rich with history. Highly recommend.

The Vatican was very crowded on the day of our visit because of Jubilee, but our tickets got us passed all of the lines and waits. Our tour guide, Oxana, was extremely knowledgeable, giving us great detail about all of the museum exhibits. We had a wonderful visit and highly recommend this tour.

Emma was a fantastic guide and was clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the history of everything across the Vatican. She was very friendly and readily answered any and all questions from the group. Giving 4 stars due to no fault of our guide - despite “skip the line” tickets it seemed we spent a substantial portion of our time standing in various lines due to the crowds. The Vatican museum felt a bit rushed, and we ultimately didn’t even have time for the Basilica portion of the tour due to the lines and crowds - so we had to just walk around ourselves without a guide which was disappointing as that’s where we would have most benefitted from having a guide. However, the tour operator was proactive, and processed a refund for this part of the tour without even being prompted - which was greatly appreciated, especially since they have no control over the lines and crowds.

We encountered some issues with the Vatican changing the route of our tour unbeknownst to our tour guide. Regardless, our tour guide Lisa was a wealth of knowledge and made the tour such a memorable experience for us.

Kate was wonderful and patient and so kind. She gave us a one of a kind experience and helped us understand the importance of the Vatican so much more! We were able to see through a door that is usually never open and pass through the holy door of theJubilee year. It was a priceless experience!

This was a fantastic Vatican tour and the best tour we had in Rome! Our guide was very organized and led our group with maximum efficiency among the crazy Vatican crowds. She even ensured we got to go through the Holy Door for the Jubliee which was a special experience. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to see the key Vatican highlights and learn about the overall history.

It was warm, bring water. Our guide was so knowledgeable about art and church history. She brought the centurys of Vatican history to life piecing together some of the familiar things we knew with those we learned. Lots of walking, but every step was awe inspiring.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour! Our guide Oxana was personable, funny, informative, and positive as we navigated the crowds during Jubilee. We loved how she took the time to go through the paintings in the Sistine Chapel in the beginning, and provided us with a “cheat sheet” for when in the chapel (the tour pauses during this time for you to quietly look around). Everything was positive from start to finish.

Our “Vatican & St. Peter’s Basilica: Unlock the Wonders” tour was a very thorough and insightful experience. While it was a bit long and included a lot of religious detail, we truly appreciated how much it helped us understand what we were looking at — which made the visit so much more meaningful.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the art, history, and significance of the Vatican. They shared in-depth information not just about the famous highlights like the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, but also about the stories, symbolism, and context behind them — things we would have completely missed on our own.
Yes, there was a strong focus on religious history and details, but it really helped connect everything and gave us a deeper appreciation for the artwork and architecture around us.
The pace was steady and the group size manageable, and even though it was a lot to take in, we walked away feeling like we truly understood what we saw — rather than just checking things off a list.

Strongly recommend! Had a great time. Our guide Oxana was super knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. She clearly knows and is very passionate about her subject. The tour company was the most organized I have ever used. Complete with reminder texts the day before and follow up texts to see how it went after. Tour included Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel, and Saint Peter's Basilica. Would definitely recommend.

Quite expensive but it was all worth it. The entire 3-hour tour has evoked a lot of emotions and surreal feelings. This tour has further reinforced our knowledge of the majestic splendor and historical importance of the Vatican. One of the best parts of the tour is having FRANCESCA around as our tour guide. Her bubbly character made this tour more bearable despite the scorching heat of summer in Italy. This tour is highly recommended.

I highly recommend to visit the Vatican with a tour guide. Our guide Kate was very personable and interacted with everyone in the group. making sure we had water and toilet breaks. Kate was very knowledgable and it was a very informative tour. We even had the opportunity to go through the holy door that is only open every twenty five years. We were able to skip large queues which is a must during the busy season. Kate led us at a good pace and made sure we all had an enjoyable experience.
