I did the wine, cheese and chocolate flight. It was a lovely experience. Hailey welcomed me right in and is delightful company. She really made the experience interesting and fun. I dined in as well, so after tastings I moved to the diner area. I had their burger n chips. So delish! On my out I bought myself a bottle of Black Max ((sweet story behind the name)).

Deer run is a quaint winery in the beautiful finger Lakes. Unlike many of the larger wineries which have invested into modern, large, beautifully decorated showrooms and tasting rooms, Deer run is smaller with tiny but very friendly staff. Felt more like sitting in their kitchen as 2 flights with small bowls of cheese curds, piece of Lindt chocolate and a mini peanut butter cup were left with us near a sheet of paper describing the pairings and 4 wine's characteristics.
The place, on a colorful fall Friday, was pretty empty so it didn't feel 'eventful' as it was just the 2 of us left alone to sip and eat. But, it was enjoyable and we did come home with a couple of bottles of red.

Thought was a little expensive especially the chocolate pairings. Host very friendly. Enjoyed the wines.

Fantastic experience! Loved Deer run winery. Tasting was fun and insightful, we got to meet one of the owners and Sam was our server and wine tasting guide. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, cute place, we stayed for lunch and Loved the food, book it, do it, you shall enjoy it!

The wine +cheese/chocolate flight was amazing and for a great value. Our server Candi was incredible and refilled our waters while we sat around waiting to sober up. I highly recommend this place, thank you Candi for a fantastic experience!!!

Very pleasant, owner took time to visit with us. Food excellent and healthy! Wine selection good, wines we had liked very much. Our bartender was pleasant, friendly and fun.

It was an amazing experience, I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience this exciting stay at the vineyard... Also, Candy's attention is out of the ordinary, she is a wonderful and very special person. She is the one who welcomes you and prepares the wine tasting. All the wines, cheeses and chocolates are delicious, they explode the palate. My husband, my sister and her husband went, and the four of us enjoyed it very much... Congratulations to Mr. Scott and Mrs. Candy for their attention... And the food at the Tankroom Café was super delicious.

Compared to most wine tastings I've been to, were provided with about twice as much wine for half the usual cost. We shared a table with two other couples rather than sit by ourselves and had a marvelous time. Not usually much of a wine drinker so hard to judge the wines, but liked 3 of 4 with the exception being the sweet wine.
Facility was nice, and there was a wedding party going on in a separate building.

We had a great host in Grace. She let one of us do the Wine, Cheese and Chocolate and the other do the February special, Wine and Chocolate. Thus, we tasted 6 different wines. Grace was able to talk about the grapes used in each wine. You can also taste some other wines for $1 each. I tried 2 more. We had a great time at a really nice winery.
