Our walking tour guide, Isabelle, did a great job sharing fun & interesting stories about local legends of haunted spaces and ghosts in one of Richmond's many historic neighborhoods. Isabelle also did a great job of engaging the tour participants with fun questions (e.g., what are your favorite scary films?) in between stops along the tour, which was a great team-building activity. Highly recommend!

This was the single worst tour we have ever gone on. The guide was so odd, the stories were not ghost stories and the history was not accurate. Truly so bad all the way around. Bryce T would be better suited at another job. And this tour is a huge waste of money.

This experience takes place in a very sketchy part of town. I did not feel very safe walking around in this area. The stories were very interesting. The tour itself was fine.

I was unable to find the tour guide despite arriving early and walking around the entire area multiple times. There was no phone number to call and get a hold of anybody at the tour company also, so I never ended up going on the tour. Unfortunately the tour is non-refundable, but luckily Viator is giving me a credit to a future tour.

It’s a great way to see Shockoe in Richmond. I will say it was a fair amount of walking. I loved the parts that were historically heavy as well as ghost story related. Overall I really enjoyed the experience and learned a lot about the town I live in!

Bryce's cadence was excellent and really set the mood! His reluctance to admit that Poe was born in Boston (and not Richmond) and his statement that Richmond is the murder capital of the U.S. (it's actually New Orleans) made it difficult for us to believe what he said. The instrument which detects spirits (with the company logo on it) was a bit cheesy. However, Bryce made the experience fun!

Bryce T was our guide for the evening. He did a fantastic job balancing the various spooky stories with points of historical details, connections to other Virginian haunts and a great sense of humor. It was short, swift but also very entertaining!

We walked to 3 separate locations. Our tour guide knew very little of what she was supposed to be presenting, and she was visibly stoned, so she kept forgetting what she was supposed to be talking about.

10/10. DO NOT RECOMMEND. If you enjoy a 1.5 mile walk, absolutely no "ghost" stories and inaccurate facts...then this is for you. Otherwise, save your money and get yourself a few drinks at the Havana Bar.

Bryce T. Was cheesy and fun. Overall it was a good time. Rated 4 because the initial group was far too large. The extended tour was only 4 of us and more enjoyable. It was worth the time and money spent.

Tim was a great tour guide. The story telling was fantastic and the humor wasn’t bad either. All in all a great experience that my daughter and I won’t forget. We are going to tour the Edgar Allan Poe Museum too.

Visited several different historical sites. TJ was very informative on the history of the locations as well as knowledgeable on the ghost stories surrounding the area. Definitely gonna do the extended tour next time. Great experience!
