It was fun and very informative. The narrator was terrific and the driver conducted a smooth and safe drive

Excellent tour! Our guide was perfect - she incorporated a blend of historical facts, personal associations and fun facts - and in doing so, kept the tour very interesting to all participants. We highly recommend this tour with this company!

Great tour, very informative. Guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Thought the tour just a bit too long.
Cynthia_M, May 2026
The tour was worth going on as we saw more of Richmond than we would have if we did the self tour. Our guide and driver were excellent!! Interesting places, facts and stories! Would definitely recommend this tour!

very peaceful - went on a lunch time excursion and had a sandwich lunch which was very good - potato salad was interesting, as it was just potatoes and some kind of dressing -nothing like we're used to. Destiny and Mike were great - very knowledgeable too.
Gail_D, May 2026
Excellent tour of the city even for locales to learn the history of the City. The tour guide was top of line and a history professor at VCU.
Lorraine_W, May 2026
Tour guide was very knowledgable. She was also very friendly. I found out later that she was a University of Virginia history professor
Laurel_M, Apr 2026
The tour guide was excellent, the flow of the tour was perfectly paced, and it was just the right amount of time.

Melissa was a fountain of information, and really good at adapting to difficult situations ( road closures due to Garden Week, and March for Life at the Capitol)
The trolley driver was amazing!

Loved: your guide’s depth of knowledge and excitement about history! I learned soooo much and he made me want to know more. We are following all his recommendations to visit other sites.
Since you’re asking…guide sometimes talked so fast I couldn’t understand what he said. Also, the trolley doesn’t have enough window space. You can’t see the buildings he’s talking about unless you’re on that side of the trolley. Can some of the wood paneling be replaced with windows?

Very educational, I learned so much u.s. history! It was an excellent way to see the highlights of Richmond, which we used to plan where to go for the rest of our trip.

Very interesting and informative tour.
Driver navigated tight turns seamlessly.
Andrew, our guide, was thorough.
Jenny_K, Mar 2026
Particularly enjoyable for history buffs. That said, this is mostly touring historic neighborhoods and stopping to look at the homes of famous historical figures and/or looking at buildings where famous events took place. Not as interesting for the casual tourist. Trolley was comfortable and tour guide was knowledgeable.
Kelly_S, Mar 2026
We learned so much about Richmond’s history! It was great! Our guide was very enthusiastic about pointing out the older buildings but also highlighting fun activities that happen in Richmond now.
jenny_m, Mar 2026
Great overview of the different areas in Richmond along with fun facts and history. Melissa was knowledgeable and interesting.

Great tour with an amazing host. It was very informative and gave suggestions for other things to do. Thank you.
Joyce_P, Jan 2026
This was SO much fun. Got to see beautiful and amazing history, learned so much and really enjoyed ourselves. The only issue was the noise. We sat in the back of the trolley and you could hear some sort of motor which made it hard to hear the host.
