The Silfra Fissure offers a unique opportunity to snorkel between tectonic plates but with glacier-fed waters staying 35–39°F (2–4°C) year-round, warmth is essential. Stay extra snug on this drysuit snorkeling experience that, unusually, includes dry gloves to keep your hands warmer—plus photos using a professional underwater camera with flash for optimal lighting. Please note that, while your package includes Silfra Fissure entrance, a per-group parking fee is payable.

Meet us at Silfra Meeting Point, but park your car at Thingvellir P5. Right before you drive towards P5, you will pass the Meeting Point on your right-hand side. Drive past that and further towards P5. We will be waiting for you in a small white bus that has driving license plate that says “DIVING”

Absolutely exceeded expectations! This has been a bucket list activity since I read a Nat Geo article about it years ago. From the minute I arrived to the end of the activity Hedinn was fantastic! He explained the steps without being overwhelming, offered a heated space to put the dry suit on (which was clutch in Jan), and the dry gloves were a godsend. He maintains small groups so you’re not nuts to butts. He took gorgeous pics and provided a link same day. 10/10 would recommend!

This company was awesome! We arrived at the meeting spot and were met by our guide and company owner, Héðinn. He was well prepared and welcoming, making us feel very safe and gave us the genuine Icelandic experience snorkeling followed by hot chocolate and biscuits. Book with this company!! We had a great time and got some real locals knowledge of places of where to go and visit. He even emailed us pictures from the day. A++
