We had a great day, what an experience! Sigfus was a fantastic guide! He was very well informed, and the tour ran smoothly. We saw everything that was planned, and he even took us to a few "off the beaten path" stops when time permitted. Also, he provided us with water, other drinks and even a wide variety of snacks. We would highly recommend this tour of the Golden Circle and so much more! A+++++

Siggy is THE BEST tour guide!!

Siggy is the BEST tour guide for the Private Golden Circle Tour. I choose him based on reading reviews here that other people wrote and they were absolutely correct. I hope people book with Siggy based on my review. Siggy arrived on time in a very comfortable vehicle. For those with hearing difficulties ( as my husband and I wear hearing aids ) Siggy wears a headset connected to a small speaker in his vehicle so we were able to hear him loud and clear. Siggy asked if we were interested in going to some of his favorite spots in addition to all of the typical stops on the Golden Circle and of course we said “yes” as we trusted his guidance. We saw views and learned information about the areas that are not on the typical tour. Of course in addition we experienced everything on the regular Golden Circle Tour also. Siggy planned the tour so that we stopped at certain points at times other than when all the big tour buses were there so it was never crowded. I am almost 78 and have had both knees replaced but was able to get to the highest point at the Golden Waterfall stop because Siggy let me hold onto him as he guided me over the rough rocky terrain. I never would have been able to experience the views and power of that waterfall on any other tour. It was truly a priceless experience! Siggy was always looking out for our safety. Siggy is highly knowledgeable about Iceland, its history and Icelandic people and answered every question we had. He gave us suggestions of other things to see in Reykjavik which we never would have known about such as the Settlement Exhibition which is the excavated area of the very first settlement in Reykjavik. It was quite interesting and important. In Siggy we feel as if we have a friend in Iceland who we will stay in contact with and think he feels the same about us. Any time I asked Siggy a question through WHATSAPP he answered promptly. You cannot go wrong booking a tour with Siggy. It was money well spent and the best tour experience we have had anywhere in the world. Siggy also used his phone camera to take photos of our stops and photos of my husband and I together with the views in the background. He then sent all of those photos and video of the geyser to my phone. Siggy does other tours around Iceland and my husband and I hope to return to Iceland and have Siggy take us on other private tours of different areas. You will never regret taking a tour with Siggy for the best tour experience of your life!!

Private Golden Circle Tour

There were six of us so we decided to do a private guided Golden Circle tour, which ended up being a fantastic decision. Our guides name was KSP, we just used his initials to make it easier, and he was outstanding. He had great suggestions for slight notifications to the key sites that took us off the beaten path a little bit that really gave us a authentic flavor of that part of Iceland.

Siggi is the best! A native Icelander who is friendly, knowledgeable and sensitive to our wishes and need. He is professional and so entertaining!! I very much appreciate a tour guide who works hard to quickly learn what the customer's tastes and interest are. Siggi exceled at figuring us out quickly and then made sure to share information that enhanced our experience. He was able to enlighten us in Icelandic customs and cultures. He really enriched our entire experience and we left feeling as if we really got a genuine taste of the beauty of Iceland. Even when weather effected our plans, he was able to redirect and show us things we would have never known about. Truly, you would be lucky to have Siggi be your guide. I have had many excellent private tour guides but Siggi is better than all of them!!

We booked the Private Golden Circle Tour with Siggy, and it was absolutely the highlight of our Iceland vacation. My spouse and I, along with four others, had never been to Iceland before, so we were excited but a little unsure what to expect. From the moment we met Siggy, though, we knew we were in good hands. He’s not only the guide, he is the company owner - and it shows. Throughout the day he shared fascinating history about each landmark, explained the geology and mythology behind the landscape, and made sure we understood what we were seeing. He paused for photo-ops and took so many incredible photos for us, then went out of his way to share the pictures soon after the tour. What really elevated the experience: Flexibility & extra options: Siggy gave us optional detours and side-stops, explained why each was special, and let us choose the pace. Personal touch: There was even a fun little “prize” up for grabs, more than enough food options/restaurant stops, and genuinely helpful recommendations for the rest of our stay. Great storytelling + local knowledge: We learned about Iceland’s history, geology, and local culture in a way that made each view more meaningful. It felt like a 5-star private tour. Warm, informative, flexible, and full of personal touches. It’s truly the best way to kick off a vacation in Iceland. We couldn’t recommend Siggy’s company more. Whether you’re new to Iceland (like we were) or you’ve visited before, this tour is a must.

Siggy was so much fun to tour with! He covered alot of territory in 11 hours. We loved the sites on the Golden Circle and he added a few hidden gems as well. Lunch at the tomato farm was amazing! His van was very comfortable to ride in and we loved the local treats he shared with us. He was very conscientious about getting us back to the shop on time. We would highly recommend him as a tour guide to get the full Reykjavik experience!

Our driver, Siggy, was amazing and personable! He added a lot of close by attractions that he knew about along the Golden Circle. He took us to see the currently erupting volcano. He has lived in Europe and in the United States, but he is Icelandic and very familiar with his country and the terrain. He was very adaptable to our wishes, timelines, and needs. Highly recommend.!
