The driver was great but the van had issues. No air would come out of the vents in the back so it got very stuffy and hot during our all day tour.

On the whole, seeing the raw beauty of this area was extraordinary, the lava fields, the horses, the sheep. Specifically, Seeing bread being baked underground and tasting it afterwards was one. Walking between the two tectonic plates was another.

Don't believe the negative reviews about Sam and the tours. He was thoughtful and entertaining and took us to all the usual spots plus small areas the tour buses don't go. With one of our group disabled, we could park closer to the falls and stopped to pet some horses and get beautiful pictures of the large lake from the shoreline. We had 6 people so it was much less than the big tour buses and much more personal.

We are very disappointed with our guide Sam. Very unprofessional. We joined Tourism Iceland. He did not follow the outline of the tour. We had 6 sights, but we only stopped at four.
He also asked us to see other places, but we felt that he was going to take us to other places at an extra cost. We felt very uncomfortable.
So we completed our trip early. We did not want to continue with Sam after only four and a half hours. It should have been six hours.
We would not recommend you to join this tour company. We felt that it was very unprofessional.

Our tour was amazing. Sam, our tour guide, did an amazing job and he made a couple of additional stops along the route to make our tour very special and memorable.

I really don’t have anything memorable about this tour if that’s the six things that Iceland has to offer, then the tour should be discontinued Our tour guide Vishnu had only been in Iceland for two years and quite frankly I knew more about Iceland than he did His first language was obviously not English, however, I expected his first language to be Icelandic and his second English I found it very hard to understand him most of the time.

Our guide was incredible. His driving was safe and smooth; he educated us about Iceland and it’s history. The day was so full, I felt like a week of sightseeing was completed in one day; exhausted. It was done at our pace, and we saw a lot of things that a three day stopover would usually not afford.
