Spooky Fun in the Rain—Thanks to Judith!
We joined the Reno Ghosts walking tour on a chilly, drizzly evening, and honestly? It only added to the eerie atmosphere. Our guide, Judith, was phenomenal—warm, witty, and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought each haunted location to life with vivid storytelling and just the right touch of theatrical flair.
Despite the weather, Judith kept the group engaged and comfortable, even offering clever tips to stay dry while we explored. Her passion for Reno’s haunted history was contagious, and she made sure everyone—from skeptics to true believers—had a great time.
The stops were well-paced, and the mix of historical facts and ghostly lore was perfectly balanced. If you’re in Reno and up for a spine-tingling stroll (rain or shine), this tour is a must—and Judith is the guide you want leading

Energetic tour guide provided interesting information of the history and hauntings of downtown Reno...
My only suggestion is that they would not push you to add on merchandise such as the ghost plush mascot which you purchase and then when you get to the tour they say it's been on back order for months. If it's on back order, why ask us to purchase it before the tour? This was a little bonus gift as a birthday surprise to who I traveled with so that was disappointing.
The tour guide was wonderful and, all in all, a great way to spend an evening!

Very disappointing, you don’t get to go into the houses or see anything except the outside and standing in the yard that’s it . Story teller didn’t know facts and was dragging the story on

The tour company canceled our tour because of rain but refused to give us a refund. They offered a credit for another tour in another city, but we have no further travel plans and would like our money back. No one around seemed to have any power to do anything. I would not trust this company.

My wife and my daughter and I decided to check out the Reno Ghost Tour on 12/13/24 We dressed warmly, knowing what type of weather to expect. We met our tour guide Debbi, there were 11 of us in the group. She was excellent in getting everyone to talk and she was also very knowledgeable of the Reno area and all the haunted locations we experienced along the way. My daughter actually took a picture and caught something in the photo. Everyone had a Great Time, cold weather and all,,,, take this tour. Its well worth it.

It was cold. Be prepared if going in the winter month.. Not a convenient start location. We have done ghost tours in every state over the years. This one was a little outside the norm. Would of paid more attention if wasn’t so cold, and kept moving to stay warm.

Why can’t I give 6 stars? Steve is a phenomenal guide! Not only does he know the information extremely well but he did his own deep dive for extra details so he was able to patiently answer any question thrown at him. We did the extended tour (worth it!) Steve is a wealth of history and he’s an absolute masterful storyteller. Steve even handled two joiners (unpaid passersby’s) by inviting them to book a tour so they could get full advantage- asset to your company.) Don’t forget to tip Steve!

It was nice to hear a little bit about our state and the city of Reno.
The worst thing about the tour was that we ended at the Square and we had to find our way back to our car at the beginning of the tour. And had we not been people from Reno? We could have very easily gotten lost in the dark. Paragraph Second it was advertised as a one hour tour and it turned into a 90 minute tour and we weren’t expecting to be out that long because our dog was a home alone and she doesn’t like to be left longer than four hours and we have gone to dinner and then to the tour.
The tour guide was fine. He just did a script the way he was supposed to, however I did not see any ghost so that was disappointing.

It literally was a guided tour but did not take you "IN" actual places to experience anything. We walked around the city and was told more history about the areas we stopped at, but not convincing about the spiritual side of the "Ghosts Tour." Everyone has their own experiences and expectations. Sad history about people and their story but not really ghostly.

Fantastically spooky and all I signed up for!! Melissa, our ghost guide, her presentation and delivery was spot on. I had a few experiences at the Lake Mansion that I have no words for, and I got a pic of a blue light at the Chinese suicide bridge that I have no explanation. FANTASTIC AND HAUNTING!! Will do this agaon!!

Excellent guide. Some technical issues with the microphone broadcast to the group as it sounded like a voice through a tin can. Only complaint is the tour did not return to the same location where it started from. The tour ended and there was an add-on portion but then the rest of the group had to walk another 15 minutes at night time back to the starting location which was not in the best of areas. Overall, however, it's worth it.

This is a walking tour. That was not mentioned, and I could not take miles of walking and standing. In addition, the tour guide stated that the tour ends in downtown Reno, and we would have to find our way back to our cars approximately 1.3 miles away without her help as she had two on the tour that paid for an extended tour. That's a scary thought for anyone not from Reno. Also, she stated we don't go into any haunted places, and she personally has never seen anything scarry on her tours.

Paul was an excellent guide. Growing up in Reno he certainly knew his history. The stories was informative & interesting. The only thing to make it better would be if we could have gone into the sites or at least some of them. Recommend 100%.

Great walking tour. Our guide did a great job of keeping us interested and engaged. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our inquiring questions! Even though this tour requires to walk in some dark my wife and I always felt safe and comfortable. Definitely would recommend this even if you are a skeptic like me. Just a different experience to enjoy!
