Most of the activities inside Magiquest seemed like they could be quite fun, however, the facility seemed to be a bit run down.
The mini-golf course in particular was in need of maintenance, many of the greens were wavy, some of the tee plates were not flat, and many of the course barriers were in the way of being able to make a good stance; then there were some holes that had pipes that would let your ball roll to the hole but none of them rolled straight, so even if you got the ball in the correct pipe you still couldn't make a hole in one.
The mirror maze was good, however, there were flashing lights and we didn't see any warnings about them at all. As far as maintenance goes there were a few cracked/broken mirrors.
The laser maze was small and took basically no time at all. There were so many lasers so close together that neither me or my wife was able to navigate the course with any efficiency at all, our 10 year old did okay and got the lowest time. I suspect for adults the quickest way through would be to just run straight through the lasers to the button at the end.
The main part of Magiquest, the Magiquest adventure, was interesting, but quite lacking. It is basically a scavenger hunt combined with quests. You can collect everything you encounter, however, if you do not start the quest before you collect the items then you are just wasting your time. We were there on a slow day, yet, we were still having to wait for access to the interactive screens for the quests. The wands they provide have no feed back so you have no idea if it is working or not and it can be frustrating; the wands are activated by motion. When there are more people around you, you have no idea whose wand actually activated the target and you may have to try the same target several times, this is especially aggravating when you are on a time limit and must walk back and fourth to the same target several times just to see if you collected the item.
Over all I'd say Magiquest is in some major need of some refreshing, but can be interesting for young kids that don't really know/care what is going on.

This was absolutely amazing! Worth the money and the time! Probably the coolest thing we did on our trip to the East Coast we are from Oregon and were all over the area...would definitely recommend!
