- Our works travel and presently the works of Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) and Auguste Renoir (1841–1919) preserved at the Musée de l'Orangerie are travelling to Japan for exhibition until January 2026. So please note that these will not be available for display at Musée de l'Orangerie during this period.
- The permanent collections will be exceptionally closed on February 11, 12, and 13, 2026, on these three dates for access to the Claude Monet's Water Lilies only.

I would suggest people do not get the flexible entrance tickets. We waited in line for 2 hours. The museum was fabulous though.

Purchased an anytime entrance ticket. The liting not ticket never mentioned that you should arrive at a certain time to be guaranteed entry. We arrived three hours before the museum closed and barely made it in the door before they closed. Then we only had 30 minutes to explore the museum.

Long long lines. They need to be more clear that these tickets will get you in a line that might be two hours long and does not move very fast at all.

It was promised that the visit could take place at any desired time. Tickets for almost double the price were of no use, as one had to stand for 2.5 hours in the same line as those without tickets, which could be freely purchased upon entering the museum. Very unprofessional work by VIATOR, if they did not have the ability or desire to arrange for a special line for their customers to operate. Do not buy tickets from VIATOR, do not support this complete fraud!

For this, and most museums in Paris, you must have tickets. This is a great option. I got mine from Viator while standing in line. Try to get a time slot though.

This ticket is useless. It is not helpful. You get in the same line as people with no tickets. When called for a refund, customer service refuses to admit false advertisement for the type of ticket they are selling.

The line for all-day access to this museum, with no timed entry slot, was over 2 hours. I paid for these tickets and we never got into the museum because the line was too long. Do not book without choosing an entry time.

The museum is great but, we opted for the flexible entry ticket thinking that it would give us flexibility on our entry time. When we got there, we had to get in line with people who didn’t have tickets. Those who had timed entry tickets were in different lines and were able to move much quicker into the museum. We stood in line for 2 1/2 hours to get into the museum. I would not recommend the flexible entry ticket. I would recommend picking a time and purchasing the tickets for that time.

DO NOT BUY THESE TICKETS. YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING AND SEEING HOW LONG THE STAND BY LINE IS BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE YOU WILL BE. Without a time slot ticket you are in the same line with all the non ticket holders. It is 2 hour minimum in this line and you have no flexibility because the ticket is non refundable. Honestly so completely disappointing and not clearly described. You are better off going and getting tickets in person if you failed to plan far enough ahead for time slot ticket.

Check with Viator before one leaves the USA to be sure they send you the tickets instead of waiting until the day before the scheduled event hoping that the tickets would arrive in ones email as promised but never happened

This ticket without time slot is just for the overflow. You need to be in line at opening or you will spend hours waiting to get in. Much better off with a specific time

The L'Orangerie Museum was great. You must stay silent went viewing the Monet Water Lilies exhibit! The Audio provided was very limited.

Beautiful gallery but we aware that you can get the tickets directly at the gallery for €11 and the audio guide if you need one for €5 - total €16. I bought this ticket understanding it would enable me skip the Q given the premium price charge. It turns out you cannot skip the Q with this ticket and I was directed to the back of a 2hr line to Q to get in. I contacted Viator and the vendor company to explain I wanted a refund for the ticket given I was basically paying a premium price to stand in the same general entry Q.m for 2hrs. They refused on basis it was no cancellation. Very poor experience and will be much more careful in using non official sites again for ticket entry as it is basically premium priced resale.

The experience was mediocre at best. They would not let us into the museum because the tickets we purchased from VIATOR, for some reason, did not show the price on the electronic ticket. This is apparently not accepted in the museum, and we were forced to stand out in the freezing rain for 45 minutes while trying to resolve this on the phone with VIATOR. Once it was finally resolved, we entered the museum to find that other than Monet‘s Waterlilies, which were beautiful, the paintings this museum has were not the world renowned paintings we were expecting. I think we will need to go to the Louvre and Musée D’Orsay to see the more famous paintings.

Small museum but beautiful works of art. Good sampling of impressionist works. Monet’s Water Lillies’ meditation rooms were amazing. The canvases were then entire wall!

The Viator audio guide is helpful for the Waterlilies, but otherwise terrible. It only covers a dozen works of art, many of which are no longer on display, gives very little clue where to find them (room numbers are at the bottom of doorways, and not on the included map.) the audio guide does not give any over view.

I always love the museum, yesterday it was more people than I have experienced in the past.
Also I purchased the audio from viatour thinking it was the audio from the museum. It’s actually a downloaded file from viatour and of course I did not take my ear phones so it was a waste of money since I could not use at the museum

You can buy tickets direct that are 50% cheaper, this ticket is a complete con, it’s a trick to spend money when you can buy them directly from the museum

Purchasing tickets via Viator was a rip off! The tickets were twice as expensive and it took 20 mins before we received the tickets so we had to stand around at the entrance trying to work out how to receive the tickets. The actually event at the Musée d’Orangerie was a good event and worth attending.

When you book this experience, the description states that you have a flexible entrance time and audio guided tour.
While in Paris, I received multiple texts and emails asking me to confirm an exact entrance time. We had to change our plans for the day due to that reason. Also, the audio tour was not included! The museum is beautiful but not worth the price this company is charging.

Great museum with unbelievable artwork spanning many artists and eras. This is a must see and not one of the usual, big museums, but you need to do this tour.

The museum itself was amazing, but this ticketing service was an absolute nightmare. I purchased tickets for a 9:30 AM entrance, which is clearly what the tickets themselves reflect. However, the tickets were not delivered to me until 10:00 AM, at which point the museum would not allow entry because the time slot had already passed. This was entirely the fault of the service, not the museum and not mine.
When I called for help, no one assisted me, and they refused to escalate the issue or let me speak to a manager. I was given no solution and forced to repurchase tickets for a new time slot just to enter. To make matters worse, they are still refusing to communicate with me or respond to my refund request, despite clear proof that the late ticket delivery caused the issue.
This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced—no accountability, no support, and no resolution. Never use this service. They will take your money, make mistakes, and then completely disappear when you need help.

The “flexible entrance” is worthless. You still have to wait in the same line people without tickets wait in. Don’t waste your time and money unless you get an assigned entry slot.
