- The Viator confirmation voucher you receive after booking is not valid for entry and will not be accepted by museum staff. Please check your email and WhatsApp for the official PDF ticket, which must be shown at the entrance. Along with ticket you will also get the link to access the English Audio tour
- The Orsay Museum is closed every Monday, May 1 and December 25. The late opening rate applies on Thursdays, for visits starting at 6pm - the museum closes at 9:45pm - last access at 9pm.
- During peak seasons, expect lines at security checkpoints. Please note that your ticket does not provide priority access. In the busiest periods, entry may take longer than usual.
- We recommend arriving at the museum at least 2 hours before closing time during peak season, preferably 3 hours, to ensure entry
- Ticket valid for one entry only at the indicated date and time. You may stay as long as you like, but cannot leave and reenter the museum.
- Large bags are not permitted and luggage of up to 56x45x25 cm may be stored onsite.
- Entry will take place at the Museum Forecourt – 2 (Blue Zone), via the queue marked “Visitor with non time-stamped ticket.

Download the audio tour before you get there.
Quick access to the facility.
Then go to the 5th floor to begin the tour, adjacent to the cafe make sure you go outside on the 5th level to see the beautiful views

The Musée is worth the visit, just that the audio guidance was not working properly with Viator, better get the official audio guide.

The museum closed due to heat. Viator should text customer so that we wouldn’t have to walk to the museum to discover it was closed.
Also, Viator should process an automated refund rather than having the customer have to submit a request

Tickets easy to download, once I found them in my junk mail - and loved the museum!
Tried 4 times to set up an acct on YoTours for the audio guide....half an hour of frustration I'll never get back.... Kept having to validate email address even though the time had not run out ...

We visited the Renoir, Monet and Van Gogh exhibitions mainly, as we were doing a half day visit.
Tickets were easy to use. No queue when we arrived mid morning.
We could not get the audio app to scan the QR code provided and ended up getting the headsets at the museum.
Accessing the audio through the app did not work even though we followed the instructions for iPhone and tried it in WiFi the day before.
The museum was lovely and worth the visit.
Note there are cafes and restaurants on higher floors, not just the small cafe on the floor.

I’ve gone to the D’Orsay in different seasons . If you go in the summer expect the crowds. Go early and start with the fifth floor ( where Impressionists are) and work your way down.

I was sent a link to the audio on the day I was going . It did not work. When I got out I finally got the audio but we were leaving the museum and it was too late. They keep telling me that they sent the link and I had everyone trying to get into it with the app that I was told to use and it did not work. Take the tour without the audio and buy it at the museum or just read the explanations there.

The Musee D'Orsay is an incredible experience for art lovers. Warning buying a ticket with audio through Viator. It does. It inckude the museum audio & headset. You need download & register with an App & unfortunately not made aware of this until you open your ticket. It is quite a process & I couldn't get it to happen - no direct link etc so ended up buying a headset at the museum. You can go right to the museum website and buy a ticket there.

The MUSEUM was FANTASTIC - the works of art gorgeous. INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTING as our AUDIO never worked properly - we downloaded the required app and audio files at the hotel so we were fully prepared. Upon arrival, only the opening sequence played. Despite 4 deletions and reloading of both components per Viator associate instructions, the audio NEVER worked properly. We requested replacement tickets for the following day (our last day in Paris) or a refund. They offered tickets for 2 days later (useless to us) and refused a refund because no one else had audio issues and their only solution were tickets we could not use. LOVED the museum, DESPISED the tour company & their handling of the situation. Recommend a guided tour NOT a downloaded app & file!

I spent 45 min trying to download another app to get the audio tour. I ended up paying for it on my own despite having paid ahead of time, so double charged. I have made 4 reservations with Viator and experienced unacceptable performance on 3 out of 4 experiences. I will never use Viator again and have told friends and Odysseys that this recommendation was horrible!!!

The d'Orsay is absolutely great and I appreciate getting the anytime-tickets from Viator (when none at all were available from the museum site!). But I also bought the audio tour from Viator and didn't care for the requirement to download their app and open an account and using my own phone with ear buds for the audio -- I wish they would have made that more clear from the beginning.

DO NOT DO THIS!!!! It’s a SCAM! Regular tickets are 13 Euro and these are marked up. On top of that, you have to download an app then another app and the whole thing is just ridiculous! Just go directly to the museum website and order your tickets without the hassle.

The Musée d’Orsay is one of the top tourist attractions in Paris, which means big queues when you go there. This ticket allowed speedy access which meant less than two minutes to enter despite long queues for those who hadn’t pre-booked the same ticket. Once inside, you’ll find a magical setting. The only drawback I had was accessing the audio, which seemed an unnecessarily complicated and involved having to install an app, open and account etc. I decided not to bother with it. The ticket was still great value tho.

We were the first people in the museum. We arrived 20 minutes before the museum opened, showed our tickets, and were the only ones in the prepaid ticket with no time line. Walked right in on a Saturday before the opening time - no security wait time. Totally wonderful.
