Just to make sure you arrive in plenty of time our guide JD was excellent in keeping you informed made it fun
The tour is just ok. The guide Lilian was really good, knowledgeable and knows how to make the tour interesting. I learned some history about the tower. The reason why I gave 3 stars is because of so many people, so crowded on the sommet. I didn’t enjoy it on top. Waiting for the elevator to go up took so long as well as going down. I won’t do it again.
JD provided a wonderful experience and told fascinating stories. The meet up point worked well. JD made sure we had photos to show for our experience. Thank you JD.
Do not book this tour with Uncle Sam Tours. We paid €244.00 for a guided Eiffel Tower stair climb with Summit elevator access for our family of four.
What we actually received was an incomplete service and a blatant bait-and-switch.
Summit Was Closed: The Summit was closed on the day of our visit, but the operator never informed us prior to entry or gave us the option to cancel for a refund.
Guide Abandonment: The guide abandoned our family on the 1st floor and failed to complete even the basic guided stair climb to the 2nd floor.
Counter Ticket Purchase: The guide went to the physical ticket window and purchased basic 2nd-floor walk-up tickets for €70.00 total. They pocketed a massive markup without delivering the promised guided climb or Summit access. When we requested a full refund for undelivered services, the operator rejected it and Viator refused to override them.
Save your money and book official tickets directly or use a reputable operator. Total scam.
Well worth it. Lots of stairs to climb.
We went at night but I think day time would be better. Takes at least 2 hours.

James our guide was excellent. I didn’t realise we had to meet outside of the Eiffel Tower and thought we had missed our group. We did meet up with them and highly recommend the Eiffel Tower tour.
Lack of communication for a place to meet up. Were there half a min early, walk around the Eiffel tower several times. Didn’t see any lifted signs of group name. there were no telephone number to contact. Nobody calls us for our absence. We have to buy one more time ticket which was half the price we paid. Our experience was so bad and our excitement turned to anxiety and regret.
Ana was a fantastic tour guide. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and considerate of the older climbers. We would highly recommend an Eiffel Tower tour with Ana.

We were staying at the Maison Colbert Hotel, and tried to take the metro train to our tour site. Unfortunately the train went down, we missed our tour reservation time, and lost out on $204 USD. We chose to pay for our own stair/elevator climb of the Eiffel Tower and it was only 52 euros for 2. Viator hosed us on this one! Do it yourself! It’s cheaper!!!
The guide wasn't bad, but we bought the tour mainly for the chance to go to the summit; however, we were told a storm was coming, so it wasn't possible. It rained about 30 minutes before the tour started, but after that, not a single drop fell. It was a lot of money to pay when we couldn't go up. If the ascent had been possible, I wouldn't regret it, but given how things played out—and the fact that the storm never actually arrived—I do regret it.
Ana is an expert guide, lots of great info and she kept it interesting too! She is entertaining and has a great personality too.

This tour is a complete scam. Avoid at all costs. They take your money and don’t provide the services they say they’ll provide. The French government allows these tour operators to legally scam people out of money selling bogus “guided tours.” The government doesn’t care as long as Eiffel Tower tickets keep selling.

I paid to go to the summit of eiffel tower but didn't get to go up because they closed the summit and i wasn't refunded.
We paid for the upper lift but it was closed. Is it possible to receive compensation? We are very disappointed
We took the steps and tour guide was helpful and supportive to us all.
Left us on the 1st floor which we rather strange but nice person, funny and tells a good story.
Beautiful experience. I would definitely pay for the elevator next time. Those 2 levels of steps are intense. JD was very informative and entertaining.

disappointed. When purchasing they said I could change the time if there was a delay in my flight or if something came up. My flight was delayed and I reached out to an agent twice with no response and lost my money.

I paid to go to the summit in the elevator but the guide (Andre) took us to the 2nd floor via stairs and the ticket he gave us didn’t let us go to the summit… It showed invalid… We were cheated… I was cheated and I want refund…!
